"Welcome to my secret place "I nearly shouted spreading my arms to the either side as we reached the beach. "And this is no more a secret"Sanam said. "that's not fair"I said. Sanam took a step forward and went near the sea. He turned to me "you know what ? I'm loving this place so much"Sanam said. " it's nearly evening, this cold atmosphere, the cool breeze, the setting sun, all of these making a beautiful scene, i must say you have a good taste"Sanam said. "Yeah I know that"i said and sat down on the beach.

Sanam sat beside me.

"You come here everyday ?"Sanam asked. "Yeah, every day"i said. "Alone ?"Sanam asked. I turned to him."yeah, obviously alone"I said.

"Why ? Any boyfriend ?"Sanam asked with a little hesitation . "no !"I said. "Really ?"Sanam asked again. "Yeah, why are you asking ?"I said. "No you are young and beautiful, so I thought ..."Sanam said. "Haha stop thinking u know na you can't think, god forgot to give you the power of thinking"I said. "Hey ani, don't try to underestimate me, i can think more than even u can think I can think"Sanam said laughing. "what ? You are confusing me"I said."acha tell me what do you think about me ?"I said."Sanam quickly turned to me, he started bringing his face more and even more closer to mine , i wanted to move backwards but I didn't . As he was coming more closer i was becoming more unable to think what to do and what not. He finally brought his face closest to mine. Leaving few inches gap between our faces. And now his warm breathes fanning my lips. He looked into my eyes. My heart beat started racing. "You want to know what I think about you ?"Sanam said. I looked downwards while fixing some loose ends of my hair behind my ear. During which my head went down touching his nose."I think you are in love , deeply madly in love"Sanam said shocking me. I skipped a heart beat. Instantly the only name came into my mind was SANAM."no no, no this is not true, I'm in love, no I'm not"I said avoiding eye contact with him. But my heart started beat was increasing. "No, no, u can't lie to me, i can see you are in love"Sanam said rather whispered. I was unable to look up at him . "Look at me"Sanam said and chinned up my face. "Now, look into my eyes and say whatever you were saying"Sanam said. I looked into his eyes and forgot who i was , what I was, i was getting lost somewhere in those intense eyes. Sanam looking at me. His face so close to mine that I could feel his breathe."how do you know I'm in love ?"I asked ."because I know what it's like to be in love "Sanam said narrowing his eyes.i had a little heartache. "In love ? With whom ?"I asked stammering. "Wanna know who ?"Sanam asked. I kept looking at him silently. "You"Sanam said. My heart beat was increasing."me ?"I asked."yes, i love you....can't i love you ? You are my best friend right ?"Sanam said startling me. "Oh"I said where It was like he broke my heart into million pieces."what did you think ?"Sanam said."i thought.. leave it nothing"i said looking down."Didn't like my answer ? "Sanam said. "no, not that, it's just i was shocked how can u love me ! I'm satisfied you don't love me, that's how it should be"I said looking far at the sea."and what if i tell you I love you ?"Sanam said holding me by my elbow."you shouldn't, Sanam, you know what I badly hate your jokes"I said looking at him freeing myself from him and moved more rightwards little away from him."Did i crack a joke ?"Sanam said."yes you did, a very bad joke"I said trying not to burst out crying. "You think saying you love me is a joke ? This is not funny"I said."then what should I say that will make you happy ?"Sanam said.i looked at him."should I say that you looked too cute when you were jeoulous today morning, or should I say that you looked adorable when I saved you in the crowd", saying this Sanam was again moving closer "or should I say you are looking extremely beautiful in the faded day light, with this anger on your face right now" again his face right beside mine, he slightly held my elbow, his voice appeared to me like whispers. "Or should I say, I'm here only for you,and now sitting beside you is a bliss for me"Sanam stopped. With his last words an electrifying current ran down my body, my anger, sorrows vanished in an instant. He is the one who can break my heart and he is the one who can act as a remedy. I slightly turned my face to him. My long hair covered my face as I turned to him. I could feel my heart beating fastest, suddenly i felt a warm touch on my face, Sanam slowly removed the loose ends from my face, as he ran his fingers across my face i had goosebumps. I closed my eyes. He removed the loose hairs and tucked them behind my ear.

Sanam POV - falling for her again ! I came all the way just to meet her, just to tell her about my feelings, and now when she is in front of me i can't utter a single word, she is the most purest soul i have come across, the most charming girl, and the best for me...

I opened my eyes to find sanam looking at me . I felt my cheeks becoming red. I looked into his eyes, i never admired brown, but the dark brown shade of his eyes is surely my favourite..

I dont know how long we sat like this...

Suddenly i started shivering as the cold breeze touched me.

"its getting cold here"Sanam said breaking the eye lock. "Yeah it is"I said facing the beach again."this place is really special to me, and after today this holds a special part in my life"I said . "and after today this is our secret place"Sanam said slowly putting his jacket over me.i clutched the jacket. I love it's warmth . I love his scent. I'm never gonna forget this evening. "Its too cold here"Sanam said."yeah, that's why I love this place"I said wrapping the jacket."Don't wanna go home ?"Sanam asked. "I just wanna hug you and hold you forever"I said mildly."what ?"Sanam asked. "No nothing let's just sit here 5 more minutes then we will go back"I said. Sanam smiled and sat beside me. I couldn't help but smile.

Few time later, we got into the car and left for home..

As we reached the main door, we got out of the car . We stood at the entrance waiting for mom to open the door. I was looking here and there. Suddenly to my utter shock Sanam hugged me tightly. I was dumbfounded. Then he stood apart and instantly mom opened the door."welcome"Mom greeted us. I was still shocked. "What was that ?"I asked him blushing badly. "Just fulfilled your wish, don't you remember what you wished few minutes back"Sanam said and went inside smiling.

I stood there still shocked, bewildered, blushing badly, still i couldn't feel my heartbeat. "How did he hear that ? He hugged me ! He just did!"
