《Tum Mile - A Sanam Puri Fanfic》Ch -3. Cute Amaya

After dinner I was in our bedroom going through my what's app. Sam was busy with some editing work and Amu was playing with her dolls. "Samar.. Do you remember my old college friend, Arpita?" I asked him as he kept his laptop a side. "Yeah.. You told me about her when we met before our marriage. But why are you asking about her so sudden?" He inquired his eyes glued on lapton screen.
I kept my phone aside, "Today, I met her!" I told him excitingly. "Wow! That's great. I remember you told me that she was like a sister to you." He said remembering our last convo about her. "Kya baat hai Mr. Puri? Apko to humari kahi har baat yaad hai. Not bad ha" (You remember each and every word of mine, Mr. Puri.) As I teased him and he blushed.
I told him everything, that how we met and what all she told me. Samar listened me quietly. He is a good listener after all.
"Mumma whom did you meet?" Amaya asked me with curiously. "Awww my little baby," I kissed her cheek lovingly while making her sit on my lap. "Mumma apki Masi se mile aj" I told her happily.
"Amaya ki Masi?!!" She again questioned, I nodded. "Mumma Amaya wants to meet her" she requested me. Amu has this habit of using her name in a sentence
Replacing words like - meri, mera, I, me or mine with her name.
"Amaya will soon meet her." I assured her by leaving a peck on the crown of her head making her giggled. "Mumma.. Amaya chachu ke pass jayegi." (Amaya will go to uncle) She said and I let her go.
"Only she can bring a smile on Sanu's face after khushi." Samar said as he wrapped his arms around me while we watched Amu running out of our room to Sanam's. He was right.

I was in my room laying on my bed with Khushi's frame in my hand. I heard a knock on my door. It was Amu. She was the only one left in my life who could make me smile after my Khushi.
"Chachu!.." She squealed and jumped on my bed with her teddy.
I smiled at her as she sat beside me. "Chachu you know.. Aj mumma Amaya ki Masi se mili.." She told me with so much of excitement in her eyes.
'Soumya have a sister too? May be a cousin.' I thought. "Chachu.. Aap Amaya ko lori (lullaby) sunaoge? (Uncle, will you sing a lullaby for Amaya?)" She asked me to sing a Lullaby for her. "Amu wish kare and chachu puri na kare, aisa kabhi hua hai? (You make a wish and your uncle won't fulfill it, did it ever happen?)" I asked her and she shook her head in no grinning widely. "So aj chachu apni princess ko lori sunayenge (So today, uncle will sing a lullaby for his princess)", I kept the frame and laid her on bed, gently caressing her forehead. I started singing 'Aari aaja'.
Still sleep was not in her eyes she got up and sat folding her legs. "Kya hua? Lori pasand nahi aai?" (What happened? You didn't like the Lullaby?) I asked her.
"Chachu.. Aaj Amaya apko sulayegi." (Uncle, today Amaya will make sleep) She said adorably. I could never say no to her.
She signed me to keep my head on her lap. I obeyed her orders but didn't keep my head entirely on her tiny lap.
She started stroking my forehead with her soft little palm. Seriously I didn't realize that I fell asleep.
After Amu left I remembered that Aaru gave me her number. I wondered what she would be doing right now. I knew she doesn't sleep before 12 so I decided to called her and luckily after few rings she picked it up. I was was right, she was still awake. "Hii di!" Came up her cheerful voice. "Hii Aaru! How did you know it's my number?" I asked.

"Truecaller", she answered.
"Okay.. uhh.. Are u at ur home?"
Such a pathetic question Somu!
Of course ghar pr hogi.. Itni raat me me bhatki hui aatma ki tarah road par to nahi ghumegi na!
"Yeah di.. I am at home" she answered sweetly. "Somu di ka phone.." She whispered from the other side may be Bhumi asked her. "Is Bhumika there with you?" I asked her. "Yeah she is here. Baat kroge?" She asked me and I hummed in agreement.
After I talked with both Arora sisters for nearly an hour, I then hung up the call and I went to see my daughter.
As I entered into Sanam's room, the scene in front of my eyes surprised me.
Sanam was sleeping and Amu was singing a lullaby with his head on her lap!
Maan gaye Amu Devi! What we adults couldn't do, this chutku did it like a game of her pinky finger. I called Samar to see this view. He was also stunned too and also happy.
"Mumma." Amu softly called me. I went near her, Samar held Sanam's head as I picked up Amaya in my arms. He kept a pillow under his head covering him under blanket.
"Amaya ne chachu ko Lori sunayi" she whispered in my ear. "Very good baby" I kissed her cheek as Samar did the same on her other cheek. She returned our kisses joyfully. We came back in our bedroom and slept peacefully.
"I love you Sanam.. I love you so much! I will never leave you.." She shouted loudly while giggling and announcing it in front of nature.
We both were at the top of the hill. "I love you too Khushi!.
I love you the most!" I replied her gleefully, my pitch matching hers but suddenly her leg slipped, she trumbled and fell down the hill. "Khushi!" I screamed as I ran to catch her hand but before I could it was too late.
No... This can not happen.. Khushi!!!
Please comeback.. Don't go.. I can't live without you..
Khushi!
Don't leave me alone. Comeback!
I love you!
I chanted her name several times calling her back but she never returned.
'Sanam?... Sanam?.. Beta wake up..' I heard a familiar muffled voice calling my name.
I battled to open my eyes, finally when I was able to open them my vision became a bit blurry.
I opened my eyes properly and found my mum sitting near me I hugged her tightly as tears rolled down my eyes out of fear. My entire family was present in my room.
"Kya hua bacche? Fir se bura sapna dekha? (What happened son? Did you see a nightmare again?)" Mummy asked me with her caring voice. I nodded and cried.

The Dead Poets
The year is 1959, and for its very first time, Welton Academy Boarding School is now accepting female students. Violet Ross is not only one of those girls, but the only girl in the graduating class. She feels as though she must face her fears entirely alone, until she comes across a quirky group of boys. Also known as The Dead Poets. Violet soon finds herself becoming rather close with one in particular..."I'm not entirely sure I even knew what constituted 'love,' until I had met him. Now the mere thought of him made me ache to be with him, to look at him, to touch him. I couldn't quite put my feelings into words. Even as I try, few seem to suffice. An entire sea of ink could not adequately describe my feelings towards him. It was almost as if all the stars in the sky were condensed into a single, twinkling one. The only words I felt could convey some of what I felt for him, easily fell from my lips. ' I love you, too.'"

Meet Noah Hunt. He's the definition of a "good boy": perfect grades, all the right extra-curricular, doesn't drink, party or get into any trouble whatsoever. Why? Because he is on a mission: to get a scholarship and get as far as he can from his dead-beat father. He doesn't want any distractions- if you can't help him get there, you're irrelevant. It's always been that easy to stay focused until he meets a broken Damian Silva or "Silver" as Noah likes to call him. Can Silver show Noah all that he is missing? Can Noah save Damian from himself? Or will these boys be each other's destruction? Don't forget to add in a bunch of friends, jealous love interests, bullies and some strange happenings and you get their typical day of high school.....THE SEQUEL 'STILL BREATHING' IS OUT NOW!_____________________________________________________________________________"Oml I love this book so much thank you for making it...it's incredible ☺️" - yazmen98"I read this in just a day and was captivated by the storyline. This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
