"Here." Evan gives Zee a large packet of chocolate which made her eyes wide. She grins taking it.
"Evan!" Sanam unbelievably looks at him.
"Uncle Sanam that one is still there..." He points to the one which was at the ground.
"This one's mine because I'm done hearing both of you people rants I've much important work..." He ignored the look that Sanam gave him and walked away without waiting for Sanam's reply.
"And aunt Zee.." He stopped at his track and turned back at them. "Buy me another one." He says before leaving.
"He's just 7 what important work he could possibly have." Sanam said to no one in particular and looks at his wife who was about to eat the chocolate.
"Zee don't." He gave her a warning look.
"As if I'm scared of you Sanam." She raised her eyebrow at him.
"Zee...NO..." He slowly shakes his head as if he was giving her last warning.
"Whatever..." She shrugs ignoring him and bites a mouth full of chocolate.
Her eyes automatically closes as she feels the chocolate inside her mouth, humming at the taste of it.
Sanam places his laptop on the table and walked towards Zee, who was busy eating chocolate. He leaned closer to her, his right hand slide to the back of her neck, pulling her close he pressed his lips on hers.
This was quite shocking for her. Her eyes opened growing wide. She melted at his touch and she knew he knew this. Taking this as an advantage he first takes the chocolate from her hand, then slips his tongue inside her mouth and tasting every bit of her.
After few seconds he retracts from the kiss leaving her in surprise. It took her a moment to think what actually happened.

"Mmm... Sweet and delicious..." Sanam licked his lips smirking back at Zee.
"Me or the chocolate.." Zee asked biting her lip, her eyes not leaving her love.
"Both." He pressed a soft kiss on her cheeks as he takes her in a side hug.
Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink hearing his words. "Ok now give back my chocolate." Her smile not leaving her face.
"Who do you love more me or the chocolate?" He scrunched his eyebrows showing as if he was talking serious. But Zee knew he was joking so she thought to play along.
"Of course you..." She says looking at the chocolate Sanam was holding from his left hand while his right hand was on Zee's shoulder.
He narrowed his eyes at her. A look on his face that said "seriously". She laughed at his reaction. "I love you Sanam."
She gave him a peak on his cheeks. He smiled giving her the chocolate.
"BTW it was fun doing it. We should actually do it more often." He was talking about the previous kiss they shared which made Zee smile idiotically and she looked away, "shut up.."
She let out a soft chuckle and Sanam pulls her close smiling, placing a kiss on her forehead.

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?

2nd Floor
Matthias is a struggling writer finally able to move into his first solo apartment. He's thrilled to have a place free of roommates and siblings, even though the building is decrepit and is inhabited by an odd assortment of people including an intrusive neighbor, a little girl who wanders freely, and an overweight orange cat named Cheese. As Matthias settles in things begin getting stranger. Something vile is growing in the dark and it's coming from somewhere on the second floor... where Matthias happens to live.Author's note: this is me trying to get back to my roots: a character driven novella with horror elements. The story of people struggling against an inscrutable enemy, as well as the day to day trials of being poor in America. I have no idea how often I'll update or even exactly how this will all go down because y'girl is a panster. So strap in because this is the first draft and you all get to see it being born!Feel free to comment whatever comes to mind, and helpful critiques are always welcome.
