《Dangerously ~Chris Evans~✅》THREE

After what she had thought was successfully avoiding Chace, Livie's eyes searched for Jade. Dang Chris was right it was hard to find anyone in this masked party.
"Hey gorgeous!" Someone snuck up behind her and playfully pinched her sides.
"Chace." She spun around to face him. Guess she didn't manage to avoid him after all.
"You look stunning." He took her hand in his so he could twirl her around to fully appreciate her entire outfit.
"Thank you. You look very handsome. I'm digging the phantom of the opera mask."
"Thank you." He winked at her. "Come dance with me." He tugged on her hand.
"I think I'm going to have to decline." She scanned the balcony for Chris.
"What? Come on!" He begged.
"My shoes are killing me." Livie shrugged helplessly. She was low-key freaking out that Chris would see her with Chace – ok high-key freaking out. And she couldn't figure out why. She had just met Chris and was practically making out with him. And now she was desperate to get away from Chace so Chris wouldn't get any ideas. But he would be correct if he thought something were going on. She had spent the night at Chace's 2 weekends ago. And while they both knew it was strictly sex Livie knew Chace had feelings for her.
Chace stuck out his lower lip.
"Ok one dance!" She pushed her hand against his chest forcing him to walk backwards to the dance floor.
One song turned into 3 and then the music stopped as a huge birthday cake was rolled out and everyone sang happy birthday to Sebastian. Seb blew his candles out and thanked everyone again for coming to his party. Livie clapped along with everyone else as the music started to play again. She had lost Chace at some point during the cake and singing happy birthday. She took this as her chance to find Jade and escape.
"Hey little sister." Dex grinned at her as she shuffled through the crowd of partygoers.
"Hey!" She stopped so she could reach up and give her big brother a hug. "Did you just get here? I haven't seen you all night."

"Yeah, well I got here about 30 minutes ago."
"Oh." She wrinkled her nose, "I was just about to leave."
"Already? Usually you and JJ are shutting the place down." Dex laughed.
"My shoes are killing me." She lied.
"Yeah sure looked like it." He eyed her suspiciously.
"Bye Dex." Livie rolled her eyes. She squeezed his arm as she moved past him once again searching for Jade.
"Don't tell me you're leaving already?" Chris seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"Hi." Livie couldn't stop the stupid grin from covering her face.
"Hi." He echoed.
"Yes I'm leaving. As soon as I find Jade."
"But I've not gotten your number yet." Chris smiled.
"That's not a good idea."
"I told you let me decide what's good for me." He countered.
"You don't even know me."
"That's sort of the point of me getting your number."
Livie laughed but stopped when she saw Chace not far behind Chris.
"I really have to go." Livie forced her feet to move the opposite direction.
"Oh come on!" Chris pleaded throwing his hands up. "At least give me a last name." He called after her.
"No!" She laughed and raced to the elevator as fast as her feet would carry her.
An hour later Livie pushed her apartment door open and tossed her heels on the foyer floor. She yawned and attempted to strip out of her dress on the way to her bedroom. Her thoughts kept returning to Chris and she didn't like it at all. No man had ever affected her like that. She knew from Seb that he was a great guy. Of course he was hot as hell. But Livie knew she was a mess. She didn't get involved with men because eventually someone would get hurt. Chace was different. He knew from the beginning it wouldn't ever become more. They had been friends via Seb for years. But at Livie's birthday party earlier that year he had given her a ride home and one thing led to another.....and well you get the picture. And Livie liked Chace a lot. But she wouldn't allow herself to develop real feelings for him. He had asked her out on a date a few times but she always said no and things stayed the same. It worked for them. She was happy, he was happy.

Livie pulled open her fridge and grabbed a bottled water. She thought of dancing with Chris earlier that night and smiled. He really was cute. It had taken everything in her not to kiss him. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knocking on her door.
With a frown she set the water bottle down and walked to the door to look out through the peep hole.
She pulled the door open and Chace gave her a grin as he leaned against the door frame.
"I wasn't expecting anyone." Livie narrowed her eyes.
"From the looks of it, you were totally expecting me." His eyes traveled down her body. She was wearing only the corset she had worn under her dress and underwear.
Livie hesitated but grabbed Chace by the tie that hung loosely around his neck and pulled him in. As his lips ran across her neck she closed her eyes. Best way to stop thinking about Chris would be to focus on Chace. And with that she wrapped her arms around Chace's neck and pushed the door closed.
Chris groaned as he opened his eyes the morning after Seb's party. They had just gotten in from partying at 4 am. Chris fumbled around looking for his phone. 10 Am. He pushed himself up, desperate for coffee.
As he was trying to figure out how to work Seb's coffee machine Seb walked out of his bedroom with a yawn. "What an epic night."
Chris nodded in agreement. "Turn this damn machine on."
Seb laughed pushing Chris out of the way. A few minutes later he handed Chris his steaming cup of coffee.
"Thanks." Chris inhaled deeply before taking a sip. "Ok there was this girl last night." Chris started.
"There were lots of girls there. Matter of fact are you sure none came home with us?" Seb laughed.
"Yeah that's a negative bro." Chris shook his head. "This girl was a knockout. She had this accent."
"Wow....what's her name? What kind of an accent?"
"British, and her name's Olivia."
"Olivia?" Seb almost fell off his bar stool.
"Yeah, she said you were old friends."
Seb snorted. "Hang on." He jumped up walked in his room and returned with his phone in his hand. "Is this her?"
He flipped his phone around and showed Chris the photo from the night before of him, Livie and Jade.
"Yeah! That's her! And Jade."
"Livie and JJ you mean?" Seb looked amused.
"Olivia and Jade." Chris repeated.
"Yeah, Livie and JJ."
"So what's the deal with her?"
"She's Dex's little sister."
"That's why she looked familiar! She wouldn't take her mask off, she wouldn't give me a last name."
"She told you her name was Olivia. I don't think anyone calls her Olivia."
"Why the whole mysterious act?" Chris wondered out loud.
"Livie is.....how do I say this delicately? She's a mess."
"What's that even mean?"
"She doesn't date. She's just odd. I mean don't get me wrong I love her to death. Like my own sister, but she just doesn't believe in doing the whole relationship thing."
"Nah, we had a connection last night." Chris took another sip of coffee.
"A connection?" Seb repeated unsure.
"Yeah. It was weird. You've got to give me her number."
"I don't think you want to do that."
"What the hell? She said the same thing. Come on give me her damn number."
"She's been hooking up with Chace for like 6 months man." Seb blurted out.
"Chace? Crawford?" Chris asked in disbelief. "I thought you just said she didn't do relationships."
"She doesn't." Seb shook his head, "They just sleep together."
"She doesn't seem like that type."
"Why would I lie?" Seb chuckled.
"And you're ok with her sleeping with him?"
"I mean," Seb shrugged, "I don't really like it but Livie's a grown woman, and Chace is a grown man. Whatever they do is between them. Dex almost killed Chace when he first found out. But like I said they're both consenting adults."
Chris debated for a moment, "I don't care. Give me her number."
"Ok, but don't say I didn't warn you."
