I was out at the park sitting on a bench watching Autumn play by herself because there was no other kids. I was thinking on ways to tell Autumn what me and Steve was about to do but keep it in a child manner until she's old enough to fully understand. I didn't want her to hate me when she got older but then on the flip side i think she'll understand.

I watched her slide down the side smiling as I smiled at her and watched her run to get in the monkey bars. "Mommy look" She started off "I see you baby" I stated as she jumped onto the monkey bars beginning to go bar to bar. She's lucky because I swear to this day I couldn't Make it pass the second bar. She got to the end as I clapped for her and she ran up to me making me smile.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked as she shook her head and I kissed her cheek. "So did you and daddy ask the bird for a baby yet?" She asked sitting next to me while swinging her legs back and forth. I just faintly smiled at her. "I think I want a sister now" she brought up as I giggled. "And what? You want her name to be summer" I joked. "Winter fresh" she said as I giggled. " you got that off my gum packet" I stated as she giggled. "So it was you eating my pieces of gum?" I asked as she laughed more.

"I guess I owe daddy an apology" I said as we shared a small laugh. "So ask the bird for a girl" she said "And if it's a boy?" I asked "we'll give him back" She said as I laughed. "It doesn't work like that, the bird gives you a boy or a girl or even a boy and girl" I explained.

"Ooo so I can have two girls?" She asked as I was stuck. "Um no mommy can't get that, that's a special request" I said. "How about a boy and a girl?" She asked. "Two of anything in mommy's belly is a special thing the stork does for special people" I said. "Well aren't we special?" She asked "yeah daddy is Captain America so the stork can't give us two babies at once" I said pulling lies out my ass, she was so curious.

"What about three babies" she brought up. "Okay" I started trying to change the conversation.

"Baby me and daddy is going to have to wait to ask the stork for another baby" I brought up as she looked at me. "Why?" She asked. "Because soon daddy is going to work and will be leaving for a very long time" I said as she looked up at me.

"How long?" She asked "we don't know baby. We just know it's a long time" I said as she frowned. "When is he leaving?" She asked "if things go as planned in a couple of days" I answered. "Is that why You Didn't kiss daddy earlier?" She asked about to cry as I looked at her.

"You don't love daddy anymore?" She asked as I gasped some. "No baby Don't ever sat that" I said sitting her on my lap. "I love daddy to death but sometimes he has to go away to work" I said as a tear fell from my eyes and I hurried to wipe it. "Daddy loves me and I will always love daddy" I assured before giving her a hug and kissing her head.

I just rubbed her back "you ready to go eat some lunch and take a nap?" I asked "lunch" She said "and you're going to take a nap" I assured as we got up and went to the car. We got in and I drove back to the Avengers compound. I walked in and seen Steve acting Goofy.

"You know" Autumn started off "what's wrong baby?" I asked looking down at her. "Daddy is weird sometimes" she said as I laughed. "I know baby" I said as Steve walked up to us and immediately picked Autumn up smiling and kissing her cheek as they smiled at each other. "You had fun?" He asked her. "Yeah" She said with a big smile. Steve then scrunched his face up playfully. "You stink, you smell like the outside" He expressed as she giggled. "No I don't daddy" she said as I just smiled between them two.

"Go ask Natasha if you can have one of her famous peanut butter sandwiches for lunch" He instructed placing her back on her feet as she giggled and ran off. Steve stood up and looked at me. "She said you're weird" I said as he chuckled "so no kiss? No hug huh?" He asked. "I gave you a hug" I said "that wasn't a hug and you moved your face so I couldn't kiss you" he brought up. "I don't know what you're talking about" I said before trying to walk off but I felt him grab my hand pulling me back.

I turned as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck as we shared a hug. I held onto him tightly as he pulled his head from my neck and looked at me. "What?" I asked looking up at him as he tried to place his lips on mine but I moved my head back some. I then stepped back removing my hands from around him.

He then stepped back as I walked away going upstairs to our room closing the bedroom door behind me. I let out a breath then sat on the side of the bed with my face in my hands. I felt tears start to fall down my face as I wiped them away continuing to cry to myself.

I opened my phone And looked through my contacts and I honestly couldn't talk to anyone because they were all gone and the only person on this list who wasn't was everyone in the Avengers facility and my mother. It's been five years since I've actually talked to her and maybe she wasn't on the same B.S she's been on. I just hate to keep reaching out and being disrespected because I'm her child.

I clicked on her name calling her she answered after the third ring. "Hello?" She answered and didn't sound like herself I then heard her cough. "Hey momma you home?" I asked. "Yeah" She said as I stopped walking back and forth. "Can I come over?" I questioned. "Yeah" she stated as we said our goodbyes and I hung up.

I went downstairs walking to where they were working on the time machine. I walked up to Steve touching his arm some as he turned and looked at me "I'm going to step out and see my mother" I informed as he just nodded. "Okay be safe" he simply said looking away with his arms still crossed. I walked away and went on my way to my mothers.

✨Steve✨

It was dinner time as Y/N still wasn't back I was eating with Autumn as she was telling me about her day and we were just enjoying each other. Once she was done eating I handed her a bowl of ice cream and cleaned up after everyone since I was staying up to put Autumn to bed and so I know Y/N made it back home safe.

"Daddy" I heard Autumn say. "What's wrong?" I asked looking up at her from the sink. "You're leaving?" She asked as I scrunched my brows. "Who told you that?" I asked turning the sink off and leaning against the counter crossing my arms.

"Mommy said in a couple of days you were leaving for a long time, why are you leaving daddy?" She asked as I just raised my eye brows.

"That's a good question Princess" I said. "Then me and mommy were talking about the bird" she brought up as I chuckled. "What? a bird you seen at the park?" I asked. "No the bird that brings the babies" She said. "A stork?" I asked "yeah" she answered making me chuckle.

"What about it?" I asked "I told mommy to tell you I don't want a brother anymore I want a sister And I want her name to be Winter" she started off as I faintly smiled at her. "And can you tell the stork to give me two sisters instead" She added making me chuckle. "You want two sisters?" I asked. "Yes or a brother and a sister" She said. "What happened to just a brother?" I asked.

"Then I can't be Captain America" She said as I chuckled. "Let's get you ready for bed" I started off.

"Are you mad at mommy?" She asked. "No, Why do you say that?" I asked. "Because the other night I heard you two yelling at each other" she answered "when we're we yelling at ea-ohhhh" I said to myself as my eyes got big. "You heard that?" I asked looking over at her.

"Yeah you kept using bad words and she kept saying "daddy she's sorry"" she brought up. "Okay well time for bed and don't tell anybody that" I said as I started walking her to her room. "Daddy, mommy calls you daddy too?" She asked as we stopped in front of her room door. "Sometimes" I admitted before I helped her into her pajamas then her bed.
