"Steve if we pull off this Time travel thing when it's all said and done I want you to get your dance with Peggy and to live your life with her" she said as I was lost for words. "Wait what?" I asked "we went from another baby to you saying you want me to have my time with Peggy?" I questioned. "She didn't get to live her life with you. She didn't get to experience any of this" Y/N expressed as I looked away from her and she held my chin. "Steve I know you miss her and you think about what it could've been with her" she said softly.

"Yeah but if I do where does that leave Autumn and you?" I asked "we'll be fine" She assured with a tear falling from her eyes. "I'll tell her daddy is going on a long trip, but you need to experience that with your first love" Y/N said as I moved my face from her hand looking in a different direction trying not to cry.

"That's if the time machine is even possible" I simply said "until then I'm not going anywhere" I stated as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "And if it is, I want you to experience that" she said as I bit the inside of my cheek. Y/N brought me down by my neck for a kiss as I kissed her back softly. I then pulled away and looked into her eyes. "Where does that even leave you?" I asked.

"I'm sure Sam and Bucky will look after me while you're gone" she said with a faint smile. "We'll be okay" she assured before kissing my cheek. "Now you need to buy me a funnel cake so we can blow this popsicle stand" She said pulling away as I looked at her walking off.

We got her funnel cake and then went back to the avengers compound. We got out and walked in quietly. I checked on Autumn seeing her in the bed sleep then went in the bedroom Y/N and I share seeing her taking off the bracelet I bought for her.

She placed her hair in a messy bun as I realized tears were leaving her eyes. She hurried and wiped them before walking off to the bathroom closing the door behind her. I wanted to know what is making her want me to be with Peggy so badly now?

Truth was I didn't want to go anywhere and was hoping the time machine thing didn't work so I wouldn't go anywhere. Although Peggy was my first love, I spent more time with

Y/N then I've ever done with Peggy so is Peggy really the love of my life?

It was the next day as I woke up and seen Y/N walk into the room.

"I'm glad you're up, now I don't have to wake you up" she said as I chuckled some. "Good morning" I said. "Morning you need to start getting ready" she said coming to my side of the bed sitting next to me.

"Autumn's at school?" I asked "yeah I just dropped her off" she started off before kissing my head "go get ready" She said about to get up "no kiss on the lips?" I asked. "Maybe when you start getting ready. We have to meet Bruce at the diner" She informed standing up.

"Maybe we don't need a time machine" I started off sitting up. "Yeah if we want the stones then we do" She said. "Get up old man" She stated before walking out as I chuckled. I got up getting around. Once I was done with my whole hygiene routine I got dressed and sprayed cologne on my body.

I went downstairs seeing Natasha and Y/N laugh at something. "Morning. you guys ready?" I asked. "Yeah we're just waiting on Scott." Natasha said. Scott soon appeared as we were on our way to the diner we were meeting Bruce at.

We got seated as there was already big amounts of food on the table. Scott, Natasha, Y/N and I just all stared up at him at his new appearance as he was eating.

"Did I miss something?" Y/N asked. "You like it? I put the brains and the bronze together" Bruce stated "yeah-w-why?" Scott questioned. Bruce explained to us how his new appearance came about as Y/N just looked over at me and I shook my head some then shrugged.

"So What's the plan?" Bruce asked. "We go back into the past Get the stones before Thanos gets them and bring everyone back" I explained. "Do you know how to go about building a time machine?" Y/N asked. "It might be hard to pull off but I'm sure we could." He said.

"I'm sure if you can pull this off you'll be abled to pull off anything" Natasha said about Bruce's new appearance. "Mr. Hulk" we heard as we seen two kids come up to Bruce. "What's up little people?" Bruce asked. "Can we get a picture please?" They asked as they started posing for a picture.

I just took a sip from my water as they continued.

"Bruce" I started off as he was still talking to the kids. "Bruce" I repeated as he looked at us. "So you can help us?" I asked. "Yeah" he answered as Y/N started making her a plate to eat.

"It's like you're eating for two" Scott brought up looking at her plate as Y/N giggled drinking her water. "Yeah I can eat" she expressed "yeah but not like that" I said looking over at her and her plate. She started to eat as I just continued to watch her.

"Y/N" I heard Natasha say as Y/N looked at Natasha. "You're not-" Natasha started off. "No I'm not" Y/N assured. "I'm just hungry" Y/N stated. "Aw man, I was this close to becoming that baby's god mother" Natasha expressed as

Y/N giggled some looking down at her plate. "Baby?! You're pregnant?!" Scott asked shocked. "No" Y/N said. "Wait you're pregnant?!" Bruce questioned.

"No She's not" I butted in as Y/N just giggled "I'm just hungry" Y/N assured calming everyone down. I watched as Y/N ate as we made eye contact and she continued eating looking away. We soon left the diner going back to the Avengers compound. Everyone got out the car besides Y/N and I.

"Is there something you need to talk about?" I asked as Y/N shook her head. "What would I need to talk about?" She asked. "Why all of a sudden if the Time travel machine works you want me to go back and be with Peggy?" I asked as she sighed. "I already told you. You have a chance to be with her and you're just going to let it go by?" She asked.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked as she shook her head "no I just want you to be abled to experience her like I got to experience you. I mean she gave you to me on her death bed the least I can do is return the favor." She started off then pinched the bridge off her nose some.

"Sometimes there's this guilt behind me having you and I-that's why I want you to go back and be with Peggy" Y/N admitted. "You really want to do this?" I asked looking over at her as she just looked out the window and nodded. I could tell she was trying not to look at me to refrain from crying.

"Okay then we'll do it" I said as there was a silence. "Okay" she simply said continuing not to look at me as she got out the car. I just sighed to myself watching her walk inside.
