It was Autumn's birthday and I wanted to try and do something it's her first birthday and everything is out of whack in the world. I want her to have a somewhat good first birthday. I went and got up getting ready for the day. I got into the shower got out continued the rest of my hygiene routine which considered brushing my teeth and putting on lotion. I got dressed a lavender lace panty and bra set doing my hair in the mirror of the bathroom.

Tony has came to conclusion that he wasn't going to help us and he was going to start his own family which at this point was a good idea because we have no clue when everything will be back to normal. Steve and everyone was still looking for ways but they were losing their momentum and hope.

I started doing my makeup and in the process of doing my makeup I ordered everyone breakfast and for it to be delivered to the door. I placed some eyeliner on my eyes then placed a pair of lashes on. I sprayed my face with some setting spray then went to get dressed.

Once I was dressed I started getting Autumn ready. I gave her a nice bath and got her dressed. I did her hair sprayed her hair with a tad bit of water, then placed a little leave in conditioner in her hair and a little oil so her curls could be hydrated. I slid a headband on her head and smiled at her.

"Happy birthday baby" I said picking her up and kissing her cheek. "Mama" She said smiling as I smiled. "Yes baby?" I asked as she started talking her baby gibberish again making me smile. I carried her downstairs as I walked in seeing Steve standing there talking to Natasha. He then finally looked at me.

"Good morning" I said "morning, you look good" Natasha stated as I smiled "thanks" I thanked. "You do" Steve said as I smiled. "Happy birthday, birthday girl!" Natasha said excitedly to Autumn as Autumn squirmed out of my arms to get on down her feet.

"Wait" I started off as she finally got out my arms excitedly.

"Daddy" Autumn said in a baby tone with a big smile

making Natasha look at me then back at Steve as Steve chuckled.

Autumn tried walking away to Steve but I scooped her up immediately because she's been acting different since Steve had gotten here. I walked towards Steve as she smiled at her doing a little dance.

"Happy first birthday!" he said excitedly before swiftly taking her out of my arms kissing her cheek repeatedly making her laugh. "She wanted me" Steve teasingly stated as I rolled my eyes and watched him smile at her.

"You two really did good" Natasha admiring her as Steve and I smiled at each other. "But she looks like Steve" Natasha reminded as I playfully rolled my eyes. Steve opened his free arm bringing me in for a hug as he chuckled. "It's okay just say I'm the best" Steve expressed as I playfully pushing him off with my elbow. "Breakfast is here waiting in the kitchen" I said to Natasha and Steve.

"Okay I'll go get rhody and Bruce" Natasha said walking out as I smiled at Steve and Autumn. "Mommy didn't give no kiss to daddy at all" Steve expressed to Autumn as I just giggled and wrapped an arm around him and poked my lips out so he could kiss me.

He went to kiss me as I was enjoying it until Autumn tried moving both our heads. Steve chuckled and looked at her. "You don't like me and mommy kissing?" He asked her as she placed her lips onto him making me giggle. "It's fine because if it wasn't from daddy kissing mommy, you wouldn't even be here" i teased then stuck my tongue out at her making her laugh.

We went to go eat breakfast with everyone. Once we were done we went out to the car as Steve placed Autumn into her car seat. "You ready to go see all the animals?" Steve asked her excitedly as she gave off a smile.

I giggled as her Steve just smiled at each other. He kissed her cheek before closing her door. Steve and I then drove out to the Bronx to take Autumn to the Bronx zoo. For the first day of fall it really wasn't that bad usually September hit in we in heavy ass hoodies. The lines were also not bad usually at the Bronx zoo it's hella people but due to Thanos not so many were here. I really wanted to make the best out of her first birthday but it just feels like there is no one and sadness everywhere.

Steve was carrying her as we went through our different animal exhibits. We stopped and had lunch then continued. I was looking at the penguins as I felt Steve grab my hand. I looked over at him with a small smile. "You alright?" He asked as I nodded "yeah I'm fine" I said looking back at the penguins.

We finally were done at the zoo around four we crossed over into Manhattan just to hang out and go shopping. We were spending family quality time and I could see all in Steve's face that he enjoyed every last bit of it he planning other trips. "When she's older we should take her to Jersey to the American dream mall" he said as I giggled and nodded.

"Yeah" I said as we were in the lego store. Steve bought Autumn a set of big lego blocks then we continued down Manhattan streets. "Daddy is just spoiling you" I said holding Autumn as Steve was holding shopping bags full of toys from the Disney store and different stores all for Autumn. Steve chuckled as we were walking then he grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

"What?" I asked as he pointed to the store and I looked up reading "Pandora". He already bought her a whole bunch of things now he was trying to get Pandora?!. He opened the door for Autumn and I as I thanked him. We walked in as I looked around smiling at everything. I then went immediately to the baby earrings.

"Oh these are pretty" I said looking down at the glass. "I'm not in here for her" Steve stated as I looked at him. "What can I help you two with?" A worker came and asked with a big smile as I looked between Steve and the worker. "Tell her" Steve said in a chuckle.

"Um I'm not sure" I admitted as she laughed. "Well do you want a ring, necklace, earrings a bracelet?" She questioned and I honestly didn't know. "Isn't it Autumn's birthday?" I asked Steve confused. "Can we see your bracelets?" Steve asked the lady as we followed her. "So theses are all our regular brackets then there's the Pandora build your charm bracelet. You can put charms on there that represents you" she started off.

"You start off by picking a bracelet that's compatable with the Pandora charms and you just add the charms onto that bracelet and make it yours" she explained. "What's your wrist size?" The worker questioned with a smile as I looked at Steve and he smiled. "I have no idea" I admitted. "Okay we can try on ones for you" the lady said before walking away to get what she needed.

I then looked back at Steve "i thought we were coming in here for Autumn?" I asked "no I wanted to get you something" he said "for what?" I asked in a giggle scrunching my eyebrows. "Because I love you" he expressed making me smile. The lady came back and we went through all the motions of sizing my wrist, picking out the type of bracelet I wanted and some of the charms I wanted.

We were at checkout and the price popped up. I immediately reached for my wristlet as Steve just handed the man his card. Steve got his receipt grabbed the Pandora bag and we headed out. "Thank you" I thanked as he kissed my head "you're welcome, you deserve it" he expressed hugging and kissing my head. We went and ate dinner then headed back to the avengers compound.

We walked in putting the bags upstairs then went downstairs to the kitchen turning on the light hearing and seeing everyone yell "Surprise!". Steve placed Autumn on the floor as I smiled at the little decoration they put together. "We know it's not much due to everything going but we wanted to make this special for Autumns first birthday" Rhody expressed as I smiled. "Thank you" Steve and I thanked everyone.

We sung her happy birthday and Steve and I blew out her candle. As we were cutting pieces off and talking Autumn tried to get into the open ice cream.

"Shit" I heard Steve say before he reached, quickly grabbing Autumn before she could like the open ice cream.

The room started laughing as he scooped her up now holding her. I giggled kissing her nose as she smiled.
