I got Autumn and I ready to visit my mother. I finished curling my hair.

As I then Dressed Autumn up placing her hair into space buns before planting a kiss on her cheek. I then proceeded to get dressed in a sun dress and slid on a pair of sandals.

I picked Autumn up going downstairs to let Steve know I was finally leaving. I held Autumn kissing her head as she smiled at me. I walked into the room Steve was in with Nat, Rhodes and then I seen pepper.

"Y/N?" Pepper said as she faintly smiled running up to me and hugging my body as I hugged back. "I'm glad you're here" She expressed before kissing Autumns head. "I'm heading out" I informed Steve, nat and Rhodes. "You need me to come with?" Nat asked. "Yeah because you don't need to be out there by yourselves" Rhodes added as Steve looked at me concerned.

"I'll be fine" I assured them looked at Autumn in my arms. "Say bye to daddy" I said as she put her hands out reaching for him. He smiled and took her in his arms kissing her head before wrapping an arm around me kissing my head also.

"Be safe, make sure you call me if anything happens" Steve said to me as I nodded. "Come on baby" I said to Autumn as she gave me a big smile then reached for me. I took her and started walking out the room as Steve followed me walking us out to the car. I strapped Autumn into her carseat as Steve close her side door.

"Be safe" he said looking down at me. "Steve I'll be fine" I assured as he faintly smiled. "Don't over think it and stress yourself out, we're going to get them back" I encouraged as he nodded and looked down. "Hey" I started off before placing a hand on his cheek as he looked at me. "We're going to get them back" I repeated as he nodded and we gave each other an intimate hug.

We pulled away and he gave me a kiss on the lips before I got into the car and drive away from the Avengers facility. "Now on our way to get something quick for breakfast then too Queens.

We made it to the new address my grandmother gave to me and from what it seemed like my mother moved back onto the block she used to live on when she was younger.

I parked the car and sat on the side of the street for a moment before getting out. I opened autumns door admiring how she looked before taking her out her car seat.

"You look like your father" I simply stated in a giggle as she just smiled at me. I took her out and put her on her feet, grabbing her hand. I closed the car door and pressed the "lock" button on my car remote. We walked to the gate opening it then walked in closing it behind us. We walked up to the door pressing the doorbell.

We stood there for about two minutes as I heard my mother on the other side of the door. "Who is it?!" She questioned. "It's me momma" I said as she opened the door fully. She just stared at me then looked down at Autumn. "Come in" She said stepping to the side. I walked in hearing her close the door behind us.

"Who is this? Is that Tiffany's daughter?" She asked looking at Autumn. "Um no Actually this is Autumn, she's your granddaughter" I informed. "Hmph. I see you got pregnant by him" She brought up. "Yeah she wouldn't be here if I didn't" I said smartly as she walked off going into the living room. "Since you had a baby, are you married?" She asked.

"We're engaged" I simply said showing her the ring excitedly.

"Yeah that's all good" she started off as I sat there waiting for the B.S.. "I thought I taught you better than that? Get married first then have babies" She said as I sighed. "Some times things just happen" I argued. "You can prevent pregnancy You just didn't" she said as I just shook my head.

"You're still not going to give this man a chance?" I asked. "Why should I? It's only a matter of time before he leaves you, and you were stupid enough to get pregnant by him." She said as I just rolled my eyes. "He's either going to leave you or he's going to die" She said bitterly as I just looked at her shocked.

"And you're putting you and now your daughter through your stupidity all because you were scared to be alone" she expressed. "You know He puts his life on the line all the time for not only me but YOU too and you can't even give him the respect of just simply meeting him" I expressed.

"When you know for a fact he's going to stay, I'll meet him other than that I have no words" She simply said. "You're so bitter" I simply stated shaking my head as she laughed. "No I'm being real, tell me did you run off with him when he was on the run from the government?" She asked.

"No I had to take care of myself and Autumn" I simply said as she giggled. "Baby Girl you had your first born on your own, he's not staying. He has a job bigger than you and I'm sure a baby isn't going to keep him around either" She said as I shook my head grabbing Autumns hand.

"I came to make amends with you and like always you fuck it up by being bitter and judgmental" I simply said walking towards the door. "You'll see it for yourself one day" She expressed walking behind me. I turned to look at her "you know" I started off "just because you feel like fury didn't love you and gave you a baby then left doesn't mean the same thing is going to happen to me. You need to get over it and over yourself before you have no one" I simply said before walking out the house with Autumn.

We got into the car as I just sat there, placing my hand over my face taking a deep breath, fighting back the tears. I decided to go out to Manhattan and just spend the day with Autumn. We first went out to get lunch.

We went to a pizzeria out in the city sitting down and eating. I watched her eat as I just smiled at her. "What you want to do for your first birthday?" I asked her making her smile. "You don't know" I said in a giggle. It was now August and her birthday was Next month so Steve and I had time to come up with something.

Although people disappeared within the world, things continued to go as normal to a certain degree, the streets were a more dead in the city than usual but I had to see the bright side in all of this.

Steve❤️: you alright?

Me: yeah Autumn and I are on a date

Steve❤️: well you two have fun❤️

Me: we will❤️

We finished eating as I picked Autumn up we walked to the Disney store looking around at different things. I bought her a couple of things like a Princess Tiana doll along with a Cinderella doll. I then took her to get a couple of outfits along with going to the M&M store. I got us doughnuts from the Krispy Kreme shop in the M&M's store.

"Which color do you want?" I asked as she pointed to the yellow M&M's. "Say yellow" I said as she tried and it sounded really good for her age. I smiled and placed some in the bag. "What color you want for daddy?" I asked "I think we should do red, white and blue" I suggested as she smiled at me. "Yeah?" I asked as she nodded.

I started making the bag for Steve and I made me a bag full of peanut M&M's. We checked out as I looked at the time reading 5:30 PM. "Girl we been out all day and you ain't take no nap" I brought up as she just smiled at me making me laugh. I placed her in her car seat then got into the car driving almost three hours back to Albany (FYI: upstate New York).
