I finally got my hair done as it was in a nice medium bob

and my nails were done also to medium length due to my mom treating me out after what happened.I got dressed in fall clothes due to the seasons changing in Washington to meet up at a cemetery.

I grabbed the files on Barnes because something told me Steve wanted it. I drove over to the cemetery where everyone was gathering at including Fury himself. I got out the car with the folder in my hand walking up to them as Natasha turned and smiled at me. Sam nudged Steve as he turned and looked at me.

I went and hugged fury as he hugged me back. we stood in the hug for a moment. I placed my face in his chest as tears rolled down my cheeks. He rubbed my back. "I love you" I stated as he chuckled "I love you too baby girl" he said before kissing my head and I pulled away smiling and wiping my tears away.

He handed me a sealed envelope as I looked at him "what's this?" I asked "don't open it until you are in the car" he instructed as I nodded. "And I kind of owe you a phone" he said handing me an Apple IPhone x box in a plastic bag as I giggled. "It's already on all you have to do is get the stuff back from the cloud." He said as I smiled. "Thank you" I thanked

"We can always use another one on the team" Natasha started off as I faintly smiled and shook my head. "I'm okay, I'll leave the world saving to y'all." I said as she smiled and hugged me kissing my cheek. Her and fury walked off as Steve walked up to me and I just smiled.

"You got an envelope too?" I asked as he looked down at it. "Do you know what's in it?" I questioned as he shook his head. "Fury told me to open it when I was at home" Steve stated looking at the envelope.

"Here you might need these" I said handing him the files as he looked at them "they're on Barnes" I added as he looked at me "how did you know I was going to go after him?" He questioned.

"A Woman's intuition" I said as he chuckled "no if it was Tiffany I would do the same thing and you're very persistent" I said as he looked up from the files and smiled at me.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" He asked "I'm going to church in the morning" I informed as he smiled. "I want a church girl that goes to church and reads her Bible" we heard Sam sing as I just laughed and Steve chuckled.

"I'll wait in the car" Sam said as I shook my head "please" Steve stated to him as we watched Sam walk off. Steve looked back at me as I giggled at Sam "You were THAT scared you're going to church?" He asked as I shook my head. "I got to thank him because I made it out alive" I admitted as Steve smiled.

"That's understandable" Steve said "thank you again" he added "No I should be thanking you" I admitted as he Smiled. "If you two don't just kiss each other" we heard Natasha walk by and say as I giggled and in the midst of giggling I felt Steve place his lips on mine.

I smiled and continued kissing his lips as I placed my arms around his neck. He deepened the kiss holding my waist. "AYE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" We heard Fury as Steve and I pulled out of the kiss placing our foreheads on each other's and just shared a small laugh.

I rubbed my thumb over his cheek "Next Saturday at 8 be ready" he said as I smiled and nodded. I felt him kiss my head as I smiled and we started walking where everyone was at. "You know that kiss was much better than the very first kiss" I complimented as Steve chuckled "well if you come over tomorrow to help me with this thing with Bucky, I can practice some more before our date and be ready" he explained as I giggled.

"You think you're slick" I stated smiling as he chuckled "I'll be over probably around seven my mother wants to have Sunday dinner" I said as he smiled.

"Captain Rogers when I said protect and watch over her this isn't what I meant" Fury stated walking up to us as Steve chuckled "this has been going on since you set her up to watch and protect me" Steve said making me snicker as fury looked at me.

"It was just a friendly kiss" I said "no a friendly kiss is a quick peck on the cheek, if i didn't stop you two, you two would've fucked right on my headstone" he said as Steve and I tried not to laugh.

"Relax we're not together" I started off unlocking the car door from the key remote and started walking. "Or at least not yet" I added with a wink as Steve smirked and then looked at fury with a small shrug. "Don't let the looks fool You he's really in his 90's" I heard fury say behind me but I just got into the car.

There was a knock on my window as I looked and seen Natasha. I rolled the window down "Don't mind your father" She started off as I giggled. "You know I named off a whole list of women for Rogers and i would have never thought it would've been Fury's daughter" she said with a huge smile.

"I kind of seen it at the hospital with Rumlow and how Steve acted but I thought it was because him and a Rumlow had issues but the whole time Steve was just jealous and he liked you" Natasha stated making me giggle.

"You think? I don't think he likes me" I said making Natasha laugh "you're full of shit you know that?" She asked as I giggled. "But seriously Y/N we could really use someone on the team like you" she brought up. "If you really really need me then im here for you guys and you know that" I honestly stated.

"But as of right now I'm in school and I have to look for a place , a car and a new job" I admitted as she smiled "we'll touch basis" She said as I nodded and smiled. There was a beep behind me as I looked in my rear view mirror seeing Sam but Steve was beeping the horn.

I placed my middle finger up as we all laughed. "Steve said what time?" Sam yelled out the window. "I'm surprised the Fossil knows what that means" Natasha yelled back before getting in the truck with Fury as i giggled and drove off.

I drove off down to the corner stopping at the light as fury pulled up on one side and Sam pulled up on the other. "Partition" came on by Beyoncé as I turned it up rolled my window down. "Beyonce?!" Sam asked getting excited as I laughed. "That's that stripping music" he expressed as I just laughed.

"He's a mess" I said to Steve as Steve chuckled and agreed. The light turned green and I did a little wave before pulling off and rolling the window up.

I finally made it to my mothers place and got out the car going in the house. She was currently out and about with her fiancé so I had the house to myself.

I sat on the couch and placed the throw blanket over my body turning on the TV. I looked at the envelope under the phone box I sat on the coffee table and reached out the grab the envelope.

I opened it and seen a check for $350,000. I immediately started tearing up. A note fell out from the envelope "I read as i smiled and went straight to the bank putting it into my account.
