Steve broke into a truck and hot wired it as we were now going to Jersey. I was now waking up from my nap slowly. I groaned some still in a little pain from Steve having us jump out of that elevator and Jason slamming me on that coffee table.

"You alright?" I heard Steve question as I nodded then sat up some. "I'm hungry" I said then looked out the window. "I'll get you something when we make it to The next state. Can you wait?" He asked as I nodded.

"This is the first and last time I'm ever doing anything with you" I said as he chuckled "why what's wrong?" He questioned "my back hurts from that damn drop and Jason slammed me onto my coffee table" I admitted. "I broke your fall why is your back hurting?" He asked "even though you broke my fall doesn't mean I'm not going to feel anything" I said and groaned trying to rub my lower back.

I felt Steve move my hand and rub it for me as I laid my head on the window some. "Right there?" He questioned as I nodded. "We had to get out of there I had no choice" he said as I looked at the open road ahead of us. "Yeah I know thank you" I said as he had one hand on the wheel and the other massaging and rubbing my lower back.

"What was that back there?" Steve asked as I looked over at him "what?" I questioned "that kiss" he brought up. "People are uncomfortable about PDA so I kissed you trying to keep us from getting caught I explained that" I said as he nodded.

"Was that your first kiss since 1945?" I asked curious as he chuckled "was it that bad?" Steve asked "no I was just asking" I stated "no that hasn't been my first kiss since 1945" he informed "1946?" I asked as he sighed and just looked between me and the road.

"How about you teach me?" He started off "since you know what you're doing" he added "drive" I simply said as he chuckled and smiled to himself.

"I was just asking" he said looking at the road.

"You can't teach somebody how to kiss, you just got to go with the flow" I said as he pulled to the side of the road. "What are you doing?" I asked "you're about to teach me" he said. "Really right now?" I asked as he took his seatbelt off ignoring me.

"You do know people are trying to kill us?" I questioned "Steve" I said as he just looked at me "Steve start the car, I'm not about t-" I started off as he placed his lips on mine and I automatically stopped talking.

I slowly kissed his lips back resting my hand on his cheek as we soon slowly pulled away. "That wasn't bad" I started off as he placed his lips back on mine interrupting me once again. He placed his hand back on the side of my face deepening the kiss as I placed my hand on the back of his neck.

We pulled away as Steve and I were smiling like two crack heads. "My father would have killed you if he seen that" I said in a giggle as he chuckled "how did you handle that growing up?" He questioned.

"I knew of him, sometimes throughout me growing up he was there in the same space as me but blended in with the crowd. I didn't speak to him and actually start dealing with him until I was nineteen" I admitted.

"And that was because he found out I was in the service, I was old enough to understand what's going on and he wanted me for SHIELD" I explained. "So that's who taught you how to fight?" Steve questioned as I nodded. "Him and Natasha" I said.

"Which makes sense" Steve stated as I sat back in the seat. "You chose to work for SHIELD?" Steve asked as I shook my head. "I don't want to, I didn't even want to look after you" I started off "And him putting me in this mess puts a target on my back, not only that but when the world finds out I'm his daughter I may have to turn to SHIELD. It's almost like he knew this was going to happen" I expressed.

"SHIELD might not be a bad thing, I'm there, Natasha's there" Steve started off as I nodded "yeah but what if I want a family? I can't leave just like him, i don't want to be like him and my mother wishing I stayed with the person I love over work" I explained as we started crossing the state line into Jersey.

"Well you got a choice whether you know it or not, your life isn't his life and you got to let him know that" Steve started off. "But you are very skilled for this line of work" he added "and we need more women on the team" he said as I giggled "you just want me there" I said as we shared a small laugh.

What do you want to eat?" He questioned "pizza?" I asked as we agreed on pizza. We went to a pizzeria as we switched seats and Steve placed his hood on. I went through the drive through making sure to pay with cash only. They handed me the box as I thanked them and sat it on Steve's lap.

I drove to a quiet low key place as we sat and ate. "It's been a long day" I said in a sigh before taking a bite of my pizza as Steve agreed. "And you do this almost everyday?!" I asked making him laugh. "We don't fight like this everyday, I give it once a year, twice a year the max" Steve stated as I nodded.

I finished eating four pieces of pizza as Steve looked at me "you can eat!" he expressed as I giggled "I literally didn't eat all day instead I've been burning calories all day" I said making him laugh. I got out throwing the pizza box out before we switched seats and he got back in the drivers seat.

He drove us to what looked like an old run down facility. We got out of the truck and walked around. "You know this place?" I asked taking one of Fury's techs out my back pocket that was sent to my apartment for me to use.

"Yeah it's where I used to train at" Steve said looking around as I looked at him "does it look the same?" I asked looking around for anything that was off like a secretive building. "Yeah just run down" he said looking around.

"You think it's in there?" I asked as we looked at an old green building. We started walking towards it as Steve broke the lock and he opened the door.

We walked in as it was quiet and dusty as hell I started letting out squeaky ass sneezes as Steve looked at me and chuckled.

"Its so dusty" I said as we looked around "is this shield?" I asked looking around. "Yeah this is where I was created." He said as I looked at the pictures on the wall "Stark" I said as I looked at the picture beside it seeing Peggy. "She is so beautiful" I stated "you got some good taste" I said as he chuckled "hell if I was a dude" I started off as he looked at me.

"Steve I was just kidding" I stated as he chuckled and we continued looking around. "If this was a secret then there has to be more to this" Steve stated before moving a bookcase. He pushed it as there was an elevator at the end of the hall behind the moving bookcase. we walked towards the elevator.

"There's a code" Steve said as I took the gadget that was given to me out my back pocket and placed to the keypad as it told me the code. I pressed the code in as the elevator opened. We walked inside going to the floor and walked inside.

We walked around slowly looking around I took the usb flash drive from my jacket pocket and placed it in the usb plug-in that was by the computer as a guy appeared on the screen then started talking.

"Zola?" Steve stated as I looked at him confused "Hello Captain Rogers" he started off "Y/N, daughter of Nicolas Fury" he stated as I looked around confused.

He started talking and explaining who he was and what was happening. Steve asked him questions and I just stood there listening to Zola answer them.

"After the war, S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded, and I was recruited. The new HYDRA grew, a beautiful parasite, inside S.H.I.E.L.D." He started off showing pictures of himself then started talking again as Steve and I stood there in disbelief.

"HYDRA created a world so chaotic that humanity is finally ready to sacrifice its freedom to gain its security. Once the purification process is complete, HYDRA's new world order will arise. We won, Captain. Your death amounts to the same as your life. A zero sum." Zola explained showing pictures of fury being dead, stark and now they were after Steve.

A picture of me then popped up as it had "Deceased" stamped over the picture. I was about to say something as Steve punched the monitor and I started hearing a beeping noise.

I looked at the gadget and seen an air strike was coming for us. "Steve there's an air strike hitting us in about thirty seconds" I stated as he looked around and looked at a vent ripping off the vent as he grabbed my hand and had us jump into it right before the strike hit.

He held me and placed his shield over us as the air strike hit immediately as things started falling apart around us.
