Anya
Folding my arms across my chest I scoffed at Milo's attitude. Let me explain so, earlier today both of our cars had to be taken into the shop for maintenance. Deciding to rent a vehicle I forgot to add Milo as a drive so that he could drive it without me, when I realized I forgot, Enterprise was already closed for the day, now he's upset because he can't drive it. We can't pick up our cars for a few days.
"Lemme ask you something."
I looked up at him whole rocking M'lani to sleep.
"Who's gonna know?"
"That's not to point Lo, please don't argue with me. I forgot and you're making it a bigger issue-"
"Aight so how about you get dressed and we can all go together. How about that since you're so fucking forgetful."
"Watch your mouth Milo." I whisper yelled at him, I didn't like this attitude he was giving me.
Walking over to the bedroom I laid M'lani in her crib before closing the door, leaving it cracked he watched me plop on the couch.
"Why are you so upset?!" I sniffled trying not to cry, there was no reason for him to be mad. I forgot and I made a mistake.
"Man I don't wanna see your crocodile tears so you can suck that shit right up.."
I furrowed my eyebrows as stood up, making my way to the bathroom I opened the medicine cabinet.
"What are you doing?" He asked with an attitude as I rolled my eyes at him holding the bottle in my hand.
"Did you skip?"
He rolled his eyes. "Yeah.."
Pouring one pill into my hand I opened his hand and put it in before closing the bottle and putting it back into the cabinet.
"Talk to me when you calm down. Take it." I said bumping him aside as I went into the kitchen. He stood there for a few seconds before I heard the bathroom sink running.

He walked toward me and sat at the island putting his head in his hands. "I'm sorry..."
"You didn't have to do all that, being extra hostile in front of little bean-"
"I said I'm sorry aight." I said opening his arms so I could hug him, giving me a hug he laid his head in the crook of my neck.
"You're gonna leave me if I let you go." He mumbled as I sighed.
"No I'm not..I just need some air."
He let me go and looked down at the floor, a few seconds later he licked his lips and tucked him bottom lip between his teeth.
"He's sorry..."
"I know Zane.." I knew it was him only because he was playing with the end up his hoodie and twirling it around his index finger.
"You're not still made are you Anya?" He said poking out his bottom lip, I couldn't be mad anymore especially when Zane showed up. Milo knew what he was doing.
"No I'm not mad Zane."
He smiled showing off he dimples which of course were adorable.
"Milo has a new alter...."
"He does?"
"Yeah but.. he's not like the rest of us... He's really quiet and shy. You wanna talk to him?" Zane asked as I nodded in nervousness. I honestly wasn't expecting Milo to have a new alter, this would be number five.
"Sure I can talk to him. Only if he's ready."
"Ok, one second.."
I waited for him to switch but I noticed he kept his head down as his eyes scanned the living room.
"You ok?"
He nodded and lifted his head up slowly to look at me, he eyes were a soft brown but he looked scared.
"It's ok.. Relax I won't hurt you.." I said as he bit his bottom lip.
"What's your name?"
"River." He whispered I wanted to ask him again because I couldn't hear him.

"Hi River, I'm Anya. It's nice to meet you." I smiled as he nodded.
"You're really pretty."
"Thank you. You're so shy.."
"I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get used to this.. I wasn't gonna come out but Zane said I should meet you." He said scratching the back of his neck, I smiled a little before hearing M'lani crying.
"Who's crying?" He said as his breathing escalated.
"My baby. Just relax.. She's probably just needing me to rock her. Wanna meet her?"
He nodded slowly and followed behind me into the bedroom. This was going to take some getting used to for the both of us.
"See, this is M'lani." I smiled as he furrowed his eyebrows.
"So this is... Little bean?"
"Yeah that's right."
"She looks like you." He mumbled sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Everyone said she looks like Milo." I chuckled quietly as I rubbed her back to make her fall back asleep, River kept a close eyes on me I guess to make sure I was doing the right thing.
"I'm just watching just incase she cried again.."
"She'll be ok. Are you hungry?"
He shook his head no and yawned. "I'm tired. Can I go to sleep?"
"Yeah, there's some sweats in there and a t-shirt." I said pointing to the dresser.
After change clothes he handed me his laundry and I tossed them into the dirty clothes hamper.
"Thank you for being nice to me Anya.. I'll come out more often.. Maybe."
"No problem. If you need anything let me know. Milo just took his medicine so I'm not sure if you need around when you guys wake up."
"I think I'm gonna stay for a while." He said pulling the covers over his chest and closing his eyes.
I went into the living room to watch TV for about an hour before hearing rustling coming from the bedroom.
I saw River coming out of the room holding his nose.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm leaking from my nose." He said as I grabbed a tissue and told him to lay back on the couch.
"I'm sorry I got blood on Milo's shirt I hope he doesn't get upset. "
"I don't think he will, it's rear that he gets upset..Well except for earlier today." I shrugged.
"I saw the ring on your finger...Milo loves you a lot huh?" He said sitting up on the couch.
I looked down at my engagement ring and smirked. "Yeah he does."
"He's lucky.. You're really nice."
"Thanks River. It's getting late. I'm gonna go to bed."
"Ok I'll sleep out here.. I don't wanna disrespect Milo. It's not my place to share a bed with you when you're technically not mines."
I blinked a few times trying to wrap my mind around what he just said. "Oh ok." I grabbed him a blanket and pillow before telling him goodnight.
I laid in bed scrolling through social media before noticing him standing in the doorway.
"What's up bae?"
"Hey Jax." I said before yawning.
"I missed you." He said laying across the bed. "Why was I on the couch?" He chuckled.
"River wanted to sleep there."
"Oh, yeah.. He's new." He said I guess he was unamused.
"I know Zane told me." I said as he took off his t-shirt before yawning.
"Can I get a hug before you go to sleep?"
I smiled and opened my arms up to hug him but he started tickling me. "Stop Jax." I said trying not to laugh so loud. He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
"You're still me bae. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
