《Little chef》9-Selling breakfast

Qi Tian Yun's piercing eyes caused Shi Ding to be taken aback, and he quickly sat down to avoid his gaze.
Qi Tian Yun picked up the soup dumpling. He saw that there was juice flowing inside, so he decided to take a small bite before sucking the soup inside first.
Usually, people would get ahead of themselves and try to take a full bite of food and be scalded. This was the first time Su Tang has seen such a talented person.
"Hot hot hot!" Shi Ding shouted and burst into tears. What he had just eaten was a chicken bun. It was slightly less troublesome than eating soup dumplings, but all of them were still hot.
Su Jin Hang laughed and began to teach Shi Ding how to eat soup dumplings.
This was what his sister taught him!
Qi Tian Yun took a bite of the soup dumplings. He could feel the fragrance of the oily sauce combined with the crispy crust on his tongue. The soft meat filling almost caused him to bite his own tongue off in surprise.
This was so delicious.
There was such a delicious meat dumpling in this world?
The stuffing inside was fresh and tender, and the skin outside was smooth.
Two bites of the bun were delicious!
Everyone at the table could not lift their heads to stop eating.
Qi Tian Yun kept his manners while eating, but his chopsticks were not slower than anyone else.
They took a sip of the preserved egg with lean meat porridge after eating the buns. The meat porridge was greasy but not heavy. The taste was slightly spicy so a person's heartfelt soft when it went down to their stomach.
Su Tang cupped her face with a smile in her eyes while watching everyone eat.
Sure enough, food was meant to be shared.
She used to be a food blogger so she was the only one that ate the dishes made by herself. This was far less delicious than eating together with other people.
The last soup dumpling was eaten by Qi Tian Yun.
Shi Ding burped and sighed: "I never knew buns could be this good."
The imperial guard next to him nodded along, he felt the same way ah.
There was also porridge which was delicious too.
He got a bowl of sweet and salty porridge that too was delicious!
It would be nice if he could drink it every day.
Shi Ding finished burping and suddenly thought of something. He turned to look at the marquis in shock.
The Marquis had a full meal!!!
Oh my God, it's raining red from the sky! (refers to things that cannot happen, describing unexpected and rare things, and extending to describe some abnormal things)
And Marquis seems to eat a lot!!!
He must tell the emperor the great news!!!
Su Tang had already got up to clean up the table. She and Su Jin Hang took the dishes and chopsticks back to the kitchen. The other three were guests and they helped out today so naturally, she won't bother them.
But as soon as she left the kitchen, she saw a handsome man standing next to the menu she wrote.
Su Tang's face turned red.
It was over, her ugly handwriting must have been seen.
Seeing her coming, Qi Tian Yun said: "The word is wrong."
What???
Not only was it ugly, but also wrong???
Su Tang suddenly realized that she was writing simplified characters, which in the eyes of ancient people must be wrong.

Her brother was only able to read a few characters so of course, he didn't know either.
Ah ah ah so shameful.
Seeing her ears are red, Qi Tian Yun unconsciously smiled and said, "May I have a brush and ink? I will write for you."
The imperial guard and Shi Ding were shocked.
The Marquis's handwriting to write a menu for a small restaurant???
Are they dreaming today, did these things really happen?
But considering how delicious the food here was, it seems worthy of the marquis's writing.
Qi Tian Yun's handwriting was strong and bold, and his character was strong-minded which made people feel determined.
Each character was like an individual person from what they could see from the writing.
Su Tang looked at the writing and felt something was wrong. She faintly said, "But we are in the western part of the city. Most of the people who come to eat are ordinary laborers. I'm afraid they can't read the words."
Qi Tian Yun froze because he hadn't thought of this.
Su Tang was still feeling a little bit embarrassed but asked, "Can I add a few words?"
Qi Tian Yun smiled and thought, 'This little girl wants to write?'
It was not that he looks down on her, but if their writing were put together the contrast would be too obvious.
Qi Tian Yun's thoughts were easy to read, but Su Tang also didn't pursue them. She simply stepped forward to draw a few strokes on it earnestly.
She drew something simple for each of the items on the menu.
The soup dumplings drawing looked very realistic so anyone could tell that they are soup dumplings at a glance.
Other buns were drawn with the filling on the back.
It was even clearer with the porridges.
Even people who don't know how to read could understand the drawings.
Shi Ding praised: " This is good, with this everyone will know what's on the menu."
Su Tang held the brush and looked up at Qi Tian Yun.
The handwriting's meaning became obvious!
Although her handwriting was ugly, she was great at painting!
Qi Tian Yun wanted to laugh a little, but he suddenly realized that he was smiling more than usual.
When Qi Tian Yun and his party left, Su Jin Hang asked, "Sister, why do you seem to like to entertain them so much?"
Su Tang raised an eyebrow: "You go look at how much money they left behind."
She knew those people were very rich at first glance, and if she entertained them well then they would be regular customers!
Su Jin Hang went to look at the counter and his eyes lit up straight away: "Sister! It's one tael of silver!"
Su Jin Hang subconsciously took a bite: "It's real! It's real!"
He has never seen so much money.
Last time they only received two hundred wens when he ate pancakes and egg tea.
This time he just ate a bit more and left a couple of silver directly!
Su Tang roughly wrote down all the expenses in the account book.
The money was in and out of her hands these days. She only got eight taels from the fine and one or two from the meal just now.
All of her money was spent on ingredients, but it was worth it.
Everyone's reaction to the meal just now was obvious, their buns are top-notch!
As for the next door?
Su Tang smiled slightly, they were not an opponent at all.

Su Jin Hang stared blankly at Su Tang and whispered: "Sister, the scar on your head is still not healed. Let's go to the doctor again."
His sister used to be so beautiful, but now the scar on her forehead ruins most of her appearance. Su Jin Hang was very angry with his second aunt and her family when he thought about this.
Su Tang was stunned. The scars and bumps on her head were pretty much healed. She just didn't say anything and purposely made it look a little scary.
She was already a marriageable age in this country, and usually, she would have an arranged marriage set up for her by family.
She would have constant issues trying to run a small restaurant with a beautiful face.
This fake scar on her face shouldn't be removed for the time being.
Su Tang thought for a while: "It's okay. I'm not worried about it at all."
This Cang Qin country was not so strict with women.
Many families marry their daughters between the age of fifteen to twenty. It was common for large families to keep their daughters for a few more years and wait until their twenties before marrying.
In the ancient Song dynasty, many women of Su Tang's age were married between seventeen and eighteen. However, some married later at the age of twenty-three or twenty-four.
There was no unified standard based on what seems 'average', but the marriages still occurred since it was just the culture from back then.
Su Tang strongly agreed with getting married later. After all, most women in ancient times were malnourished. Their very lives would be at stake if they tried to have children after marrying at the age of fourteen or fifteen.
This was also the reason for the extremely high rate of dystocia (childbirth dead) in ancient times.
The officers here could not be compared to the ones from her previous life as shown by the previous confrontation. However, the social and political system here was not bad at all.
But anyway, Su Tang's body was at a marriageable age.
She would definitely not get rid of her fake scars for now.
Being ugly was temporary, but safety was for a lifetime!
Seeing her younger brother look sad, Su Tang felt a little guilty but her younger brother was still young and he didn't understand the danger in it.
Su Tang tried to comfort him: "My dear brother, let's rest soon. We have to get up early tomorrow. Let's rob the business next door."
Su Jin Hang nodded his head fiercely.
Yes, they must steal the customer from the store next door. He would definitely avenge his sister after he grows up!
The siblings had already risen before the dawn of the next day.
Su Tang looked at her seven-year-old brother and tried to persuade him: "You can go to sleep for a little longer. The porridge is ready, I will just make the buns."
Su Tang had already made two large pots of porridge and hundreds of buns. She couldn't even lift her arms because she was so tired.
This was really hard work.
In addition to porridge, Su Tang used the remaining fillings from yesterday to make meatball soup and sprinkled it with a handful of pepper. It looked like a light soup, but it was very warm to drink.
Basically, there was a lot of food being made.
If she wants to keep doing this for a long time she thought that she must hire some more people.
Su Tang had a plan in her mind for later but now the most important thing was! Sell breakfast dishes!
Many laborers who wake up early to work pass by here. The unusual smells would make people realize that there was a bun shop near here.
Around this time a laborer named Wang Wu was passing by. He usually helps merchants move and guard their products. He was getting ready for a day of hard work, so he was trying to find some breakfast before he started work.
He smelled a delicious scent and said to the people around him: "It's still early right now. Let's buy some meat buns. It won't be too late to go to work after eating."
Those who can get up so early to work naturally should have some money on hand.
They remembered that there was a steamed bun shop nearby. Wang Wu muttered, "I didn't think it smelled so good before."
When Aunt Su's son saw a group of laborers walking towards them, he thought that a big business opportunity had arrived.
However, when these people took a whiff of the smell from the shop they were confused.
Wang Wu pointed to the side and said: "I have a sharp nose. The smell of buns is coming from next door."
With that said this group of people set off to their new destination immediately.
Only Second Aunt Su's son was left confused. Next door? Isn't Uncle Su's little restaurant next door?
Did Su Tang start selling buns too?
Aunt Su's son sniffed carefully and he was almost drooling.
It smells so good. There was a bun that smelled good. Then he took a whiff of the buns in his hands and it did not even reach 1% of the smell.
Wang Wu and the others walked into the small restaurant and saw that it was very clean. The windows facing the street were open and it looked bright inside.
"Boss, give us each five buns and a few bowls of cold water."
Wang Wu was also a frugal person. He would be satisfied If he could eat some staple food and drink some water.
Su Tang asked: "Our steamed buns have different fillings, so which ones do you want to eat?"
Su Tang's voice was so clear that several laborers subconsciously looked over.
Seeing that the little girl was petite and had a terrible scar on her face they secretly sighed in pity.
What other stuffings could buns have?
It was pretty clear what was on the menu because those who don't recognize words could still understand from the drawings.
This was great.
Wang Wu order two chicken buns and one for each of the other buns. He could smell the broth fragrance as soon as he finished speaking.
The little girl gave him a square plank. On the left side of the plank was a few buns he wanted, and on the right side of the plank was a bowl of meatball soup. They smelled so great that they made him gulp, but he didn't ask for meatball soup.
Su Tang smiled and said, "The shop has just opened for breakfast. This meatball soup is in the house. You can try it."
Free???
Was it alright for you to just give us meatballs soup?
Wang Wu and the others were already stunned. They just wanted some buns when they smelled the fragrance, so they came over for breakfast. Did they get lucky?
They like this kind of shop!
They will definitely come often in the future!

You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
