《Fixing Each Other》Chapter 28

I quickly pulled myself out of the pool, chasing after her. She looked back at me, her eyes widening as I was gaining on her. She ducked into the house I laughed as I slid through the door almost crashing into Eva. She laughed at me. I looked up and saw her hiding behind Seth.
"As my Beta, it's your job to protect me. So don't let him get me." She rushed out Seth puffed out his chest, his eyes challenging me. His large grin confirmed he was joking. I tried to sidestep him to grab her as she squealed and ducked back around.
"She pushed me into the pool." I grumbled, running a hand through my wet hair. Seth turned to Bridget and cocked his brow. She turned to me and glared at me.
"You threw me into the pool first!" She exclaimed, pointing at me. I smiled sheepishly and shrugged at her. She rolled her eyes and walked over to me. She grabbed my hand a wry smile on her face "you have to be in town in an hour you need to get an outfit for tomorrow's party. Eva go and get Casey and Rose and make sure they are ready, I need a dress." She grinned as she began pulling me out of the room.
We reached our floor and as soon as the doors closed behind us I gently pushed her against the wall my body pressed against hers I could feel the heat radiating from her body despite our dampened clothes. "Bridget?" I whispered her eyes snapped up to mine a heated look in her hazel orbs. I buried my face into the crook of her neck using my nose to trace down her neck.
"Jerome." She gasped out as I bit down lightly on her mark. I traced my hand up to her waist and under her shirt. I smirked as her breath hitched as her hands traced down my chest a dark look in her eyes. I neared my face down to hers my lips brushing against hers.
"I need to shower. I smell like chlorine." I said as I pushed myself off the wall shattering our moment. With a smirk I turned away and walked to my room. I looked back, and she was still where I left staring at me.
"Payback for pushing me in the pool." I gloated using the private link we created when we marked each other. I heard her growl before a door slammed.
I opened my door and walked straight to my bathroom. I stripped off my clothes and hopped in the shower.

Once I had finished, I shrugged on a shirt and my dark blue jeans and slipped into my trainers. I spritzed on some cologne and then left. I poked my head out of the door to see if Bridget was ready. She wasn't.
Despite everything that has happened between the two of us in these past few months I honestly wouldn't change it. Well, I'd have pushed away my pride a lot quicker and actually acknowledged my feelings for her sooner and like tried not to be a complete dick to her.
I made my way to the kitchen to grab a snack. I rummaged through the cupboard and grinned when I saw a bar of chocolate I ripped open the packaging and chomped down on the bar the chocolaty goodness melted in my mouth.
"Jerome?" I heard her call out.
"Kitchen." I yelled.
She came sauntering in her long tanned legs were on show as the dress she was wearing stopped just past the middle of her thigh the black material hugged her perfectly even though it wasn't a tight dress her body filled out in all the right places and the slight v neck showed off her cleavage. I tried not to stare, but it was impossible. I smirked at her whistling my approval. She rolled her eyes at me before waking over to me and stealing my chocolate bar.
"Hey! That's mine." I pouted she just bit into it the caramel dripped out of it falling onto her lip. I grinned as I brought my thumb up and wiped it off before licking it off my thumb. She turned on her heels and began walking she grabbed something off the stool before she tossed it at me.
"Why do you have my jacket?" I mused. She shrugged and walked out of the kitchen. I followed behind her watching as her body swayed with each step.
"Stop staring at my ass." She called out causing me to grin.
"I don't know I love the view from back here." I teased causing her to whizz around with a stormy expression on her face. She poked my chest.
"Shut up and get moving." She snapped causing me to chuckle. I threw my arms around her waist pulling her into me, I lent down my lips hovering by her ear.
"You look good." I growled lowly. She sighed heavily before she turned around and crashed her lips to mine.
I should tease her more often if this is the response I get. I pulled her closer loving the way our bodies pressed together. My hands came up to rest in her hair I gripped it tightly as she pushed my head closer to hers.

"Oh, my god guys. Give it a break."
She went to pull back, but I kept her close for a few more seconds. Eventually we pulled back and surprise, surprise Seth and Eva were staring at us. Seth rolled his eyes.
"You guys should just bang and get it over with." He joked causing Bridget to roll her eyes a small blush spreading across her cheeks.
"We don't have a chance with your constant interruptions." I remarked smirking at him. He pursed his lips.
"I see your point. Anyway, the car is ready to go so come on." He said as he began to descend the stairs.
We trailed behind them I looked around at my small group happy that I have them. Even if some of them are annoying... cough... cough Seth. They get me sometimes more than I get myself. I smiled softly as we began walking to the car. We all slipped inside, I was seated next to the door on the farthest and Bridget was next to me and Seth was driving so him and Eva sat up front.
"We're leaving your brother in charge hopefully he doesn't burn down the pack house in the short time that we are gone." Bridget joked. I laughed at her before poking her in the side. She jumped letting out a little squeak of surprise. I laughed at her but she didn't find me so amusing. "You do that again and I'll break your face." She growled. I raised my eyebrows at her. So violent this one.
"Hey guys. Since everything's been so crazy lately with you getting shredded by Samuel and then Bridget killing him and then you got shot anyway, I was thinking maybe we could pick up some stuff for a movie night. Just snacks and some drinks." Eva suggested smiling wildly. I looked at Bridget and she thought about it.
"Why not? It'll be nice to slow things down. We could ask your brother to come too but that means Autumn by default will be coming too. Are you okay with that?" She asked the group, but more specifically me.
"Fine by me." I muttered, and the others agreed.
——
We brought everything we needed from the town and now it was time for the movie. We had decided to use the common room near Bridget's office we had piled blankets and pillows all over the floor moving the furniture back. Bridget and I were slumped over a couch, she was cuddled onto my chest and I had my arms wrapped around her waist.
"So what are we watching?" Asked Seth.
"I vote for The Hunger Games." Bridget called out. I looked around the room and Eva's head shot up.
"Ooo me too."
Seth agreed with Eva and Bridget as did Jeremiah. So he got up and started up the movie.
We watched in silence apart from the few occasional murmurs and the rustling of packets.
Around three quarters into the movie Bridget started fidgeting. I looked down at her but she was already looking at me with an intense look in her eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows at her asking what was wrong but she didn't say anything instead she started rubbing up my thigh.
I tensed up as her hand got higher and higher up my leg.
"What are you doing?" I whispered lowly. She smirked up at me as she pulled the cover over us so nobody could see what she was about to do next. Which was slip her hand into my pants. I groaned lowly as she rubbed me harder. I gripped the couch tightly as she pulled me out of my trousers. "Someone could see." I gritted out as she tightened her grip.
She kissed my cheek before whispering in my ear. "That's what the blanket is for." She whispered before kissing my lips still moving her hand. I was reaching my limit and if she didn't stop now. I tightened my grip on her waist.
"If you don't stop, I'm going to-" I shut up when she bit down on my mark. She disappeared under the blanket just as I was about to... you know. My heart rate quickened as I felt her lips around me. I groaned lowly as I came. She stayed down there for a few seconds before she re surfaced. I stared at her in shock but also total admiration.
This woman!
She smirked at me before she straddled me. Leaning down to my ear she whispered "thanks for that." She grinned laying down. I coughed.
"You're thanking me? You're insane." I laughed pulling her into my chest.
"Shh I'm trying to watch a movie here." She whispered. I shook my head at her focusing back on the movie.
I think I'm in love her.
No, I'm definitely sure.
I love her.
