"I don't give a damn Carlos, either you get me what I'm owed, or I will personally come down there and rip out your spleen." I growled into the phone. I heard him sigh on the other end.
"Look Miss S-" I growled, "I'm sorry Alpha Sage, I'm aware how strict you are about these things, but I beg of you please just give me some more time I-I-I need to come up with the rest of the money." Carlos pleaded, I growled.
"You should have thought about that before you stole from me. Mark my words, I will get back every penny and when I do maybe... just maybe I will spare your life."
"Please Alpha Sage just g-give me until the next full moon. I beg of you." He stuttered. I rolled my eyes, scoffing. He expects me to give him leeway when he walked into one of my very respected casinos and robbed the place at gunpoint. But I suppose I should give him the time he is only an omega and I make no judgments against the lower-ranked wolves, they are very useful, and I respect them immensely but this one happens to be stupid.
"Fine, that's two days from now. I promise you, Mr Thomas, if I do not get my money, I will end you." I spoke, my voice hard.
"Yes, yes, of course, t-thank you so, so much-" I hung up. That little shit better pay up I heard a chuckle from the doorway, glancing up I saw Brent, my Beta leaning against the door frame with a smirk on his face he raised a brow before he spoke.
"Going soft?" he mocked causing me to growl, I lunged at him I grabbed him and pushed him against the wall and enclosed my hand around his throat his face discoloured slightly causing me to smirk.
"I suggest you stop assuming things Brenton," I squeezed him tighter, "we both know I could kill you." I said lowly, releasing the pressure around his neck he coughed before he snaked his hands around my waist pulling me against him.
"Don't I know it," He said his voice was low, sexy even. I released him only for him to switch our positions so now it was I against the wall. His eyes stared deeply into my own with a sharp intensity. "The thoughts running through my head are making staying in control very hard." He growled causing me to smirk, I ran my hands down his chest slowly but seductively his eyes were now glowing. I neared my face towards him until my lips were brushing ever so slightly against his.

"You have work to do." I whispered pushing him away, I walked to my desk and sat down then I propped my feet upon the wood with a smirk he stared at me dumbfounded.
"That-that was cruel." He mumbled before he sulked out of my office, I chuckled as I watched him shut the door behind him. I leant back in my chair and glanced to the picture on my desk. Tony.
My Tony.
I grabbed the picture and held it to my chest. My eyes watered and I had to fight back the waterfall that was about to leak from my eyes as I thought about what happened.
Shots were being fired from every direction. They were attacking from the south their soldiers were infiltrating our land leaving death and destruction in their wake I was in Tony's office crouching beside the window trying to make sense of what was going on. Clouds of smoke were blowing up everywhere, the red smoke obstructed my vision making it hard to see much of anything. I heard a scuffle from behind the door. I stood up and growled at the potential threat as I grasped hold of the gold letter opener and squeezed the handle tight. The door was bust open, the guards at the door were now laying with silver arrows through their hearts. I gasped. In walked two men their bodies were coated with blood I growled warning them. One guy chuckled.
"So how do you want to play this Wolfie?" The taller guy said, his eyes growing hard. I gripped the letter opener and threw it at him. It stabbed through his head, killing him.
"Bitch." The other man snarled as he lunged at me, his fist came barrelling towards me, I dodged his hit and sent a swift kick to his leg. He groaned as he dropped to the floor. He was soon up again, and he grabbed my arm, yanking me towards him. He punched me in the face, I smirked before I grabbed the sides of his face and smashed my head into his face. Twice. He staggered back, which gave me enough time to escape his grasp.
I kicked his stomach, and he groaned as the breath left his lungs, momentarily winding him. His hands grasped at something in his belt and he pulled it out before I stopped. A gun. Really. I rolled my eyes at him. He fired the gun as I pulled my body to the side and dodged the bullet that was slicing through the air to get me. I grasped the end of the gun and ripped it from him I turned it towards him and fired two shots one hit his shoulder the other his stomach. I pushed him to the ground, and he fell back, groaning in pain.

"Any last words?" I growled a dark hatred swirling inside my chest. He glared at me his dark eyes filled with hate.
"You're whole species are abominations." He gritted out. I rolled my eyes.
"You are apart of said species dumbass."
He shook his head "That's n...not true we're nothing like you." He spat. I had had enough of his bullshit so pulled out the letter opener from his partners head blood dropped from it as I held it up into the light I smiled darkly at him as his eyes widened, fear replaced his anger making me want to prolong this experience alas I wasted no time as I stabbed it into his neck. He chocked on his blood that was collecting in his airway before his movements stopped altogether.
Seconds later Tony came barrelling through the door. I looked at him as he glanced around the room, then he came towards me and pulled me into him. I wrapped my arms around him.
"Things will work out baby, I promise. I have to go help them okay I love you." He said as he kissed me. I got caught up in the kiss as I pulled him closer. He pulled back and smirked.
"I have to go now." He said, and then the realisation of what he meant came crashing down onto me like a tidal wave.
"No, no, please don't. You can't you-you could get hurt or, or even killed. Please." I pleaded he shook his head.
"I have to, I'm their alpha. I have a duty to protect them. I made an oath. My pack is being slaughtered. Bridget, I need to go." He said, and he began stripping so he could shift. Anger flared from within me.
"Yeah and what about your oath to me? Forget about that, did you?!" I said angrily he sighed and pulled me close to him. His skin burned me, sparks lit up my entire body, a soft hum surrounded us making us acknowledge our bond. He kissed my mark, and I melted into his embrace. I pulled back and held his head in my hands before bringing his lips to mine. The kiss was rough, full of emotion. My heart leapt into a frenzy. He pulled back, "I love you be safe." I said, worry coating my tone like paint on a wall.
Then I felt a sudden harsh stabbing pain radiate from within my chest, spreading through my body like an icy blast of pain. I looked toward Tony, his face was contorted with rage.
Jason was dead.
Tony shifted and jumped out the window and the glass exploded outwards like a swarm of crystal wasps as he bolted towards the battle.
"Stay away from the windows, my love." He said through our link.
I forced the memories away and focused my attention on my office. I needed to change it. I couldn't stand to stare at the memories of him that surrounded me. I couldn't keep being reminded of the love that I had lost.
What once was an array of blue painted onto the wall was now a deep red colour. The portrait of us that hung in the centre of the office was now the pack symbol. The gold shield with the indigo paw print engraved into it. The window that Tony smashed out of had been cemented up and moved to in front of my desk so I could look out at my pack.
My pack. What used to be his is now mine.
I sighed, my sadness was leaking out from my eyes. I hated feeling weak. I growled and stormed out of my office.
I needed to run.
