《Forced To Marry Mr.CEO》Chapter 31

It had been a day since Holly was kicked out of the Mansion and everything has been intense. Jennifer and Jordan have been arguing since yesterday, also Jordan didn't let Toni have a break which worries me since today his eyes were completely red from the computer last night. He had come to bed at three in the morning and woke up at eight for work.

I barely even saw him. Kevin is still not back since he's with Brianna. Travis and Anna aren't on speaking terms and Katherine has went on a vacation away from all this Drama. My mother left the state today because she needed to visit her sister in Chicago.

I had finished getting ready for today. I slipped my shoes on tying the lace before standing up. I walked over grabbing my purse and walking towards the door, shutting the door behind me as I made my way down the stairs.

"No! You don't get it Jordan!" I heard Jennifer scream at him. It had been the third fight they've had so far. "You have to believe me. Your mother is trying to tear us apart. She didn't succeed the last time that's why she is trying again." She snapped agressivily.

I walked into the dining room to see Jennifer and Jordan centimeters apart glaring at each other. "Stop, blaming shit on my mother!" He shouted back, causing her to flinch. "You are slowly starting to make me rethink a fucking divorce." She tensed at the word divorce.

"See what she's doing to us? A divorce? After what we've been through you are thinking about that!?" She screamed. I cupped my mouth in shock. "Why are you making your mother so innocent? Hm? When she blackmailed our son and his wife to have sex, when she clearly wasn't ready!" Jennifer turned her head and her eyes landed on me.

I awkwardly stood there staring at the two. "I'm sorry for intruding at a wrong time." Jordan sighed shaking his head as Jennifer put a stray of hair behind her ear.

"No. You didn't I was already done." She muttered, storming out of the dining room.

I awkwardly twirled my fingers around. I swallowed hard stepping towards Jordan a little. "I know this is a bad time but..." I trailed, he looked up at me.

"No, tell me what you need." He pulled the chair sitting down, rubbing his head due to stress of the fight that happened a second ago. "What's it about?" He looked up at me curiously.

I interlaced my hands together. "It's about Toni." I responded, he looked at me concerned. "I believe you should give him a break." He looked surprised as the words fell from my lips. "He's growing tired and not getting enough sleep due to all the work." I let out a breath.

"Toni is soon going to be the owner of that company. And the reason why i'm not giving him a break is because he needs to know what responsibility is." He sat up, interlocking his hands placing it on the table.

I put my lips in a line. "He does know what responsibility is. He's the only one that has been working hard for you, he deserves a break. The more you give him work the more he stays up, he gets less sleep, stressed, frustrated. He'll grow sick due to all of the work you've put on him." I told him softly. "Please, just give him a break." I watched him stare up at me with narrowed eyes.

I bit inside of my cheek watching his every move as he sighed standing up, walking towards me patting my shoulder. "As you wish." My body relaxed in relief. "I'm on my way to the company i'll give him the break." A smile formed on my face, my eyes flickered to his.

"Thank you." He sent me a small smile, before walking away.

I looked down at the food on the table, my face scrunched up in distaste. I quickly ran out of the dining room, up the stairs and into my bathroom then bursting into the bathroom throwing up into the toilet. I pushed my hair out of my face holding onto my stomach as I threw up.

My eyes watered as my throat begin to feel itchy when I was done throwing up. I stood up with the help of the counter, reaching over clicking the flush button. I turned around turning on the cold water and washing my hands before dabbing the cold water on my neck. I grabbed my toothbrush, brushing my teeth.

I sniffed as I placed my toothbrush back into the holder, turning off the water and walking out of the bathroom, shutting the door after myself. I rubbed my hands together making my way out of my room to see Anna walking out of her room the same time as Travis. She rolled her eyes and dashed down the stairs.

I awkwardly looked over at Travis who slowly made his way towards me. "She hates me." He stated, as we heard the front door slam shut. "Yep, despises me."

I sucked in a breath. "She doesn't." I said, making him look over at me. "She's just hurt, give her some space and she'll let you in when time is right." I patted his shoulder, he looked at me nodding his head.

I looked over to see Toni making his way up the stairs, a smile instantly fell upon my face. I walked over to him as he looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. I was so happy to see him. "Hi." I said, as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me into a short kiss.

"Hi." He said, pulling away. "Come." He took me towards our bedroom, and shut the door behind us. "Jordan finally gave me a break. Thanks to you." He told me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

He leaned down kissing my forehead. "You deserve it. Your eyes are red from last night and I couldn't help it." I sighed, he smiled down at me.

"I was thinking we should go house shopping."

"Right now?" I asked, surprised.

He brushed my hair off my shoulder. "Let's eat first." He leaned in kissing my lips.

My heart fluttered from this kiss as I smiled into the kiss when his arms went around my waist pulling me closer to him. I slowly pulled away from him staring up at him with a grin on my face. "Let's go." I said, getting out of his grip, taking his hand as we walked out of our bedroom.

"Second house." Toni said, stopping in front of a beautiful white house, with a big black gate. I slowly looked at him to see him turning off the car. "Let's go have a look." He said. We both unstrapped our seatbelt and exited the car.

He grabbed my hand taking me towards the entrance to see a woman in her mid thirties standing there with a file in her hand. "Mr.Mahfud, welcome!" She smiled at him, showing off her beautiful white pearl teeth.

"Nice to see you again, Irene." Toni greeted.

She had a long bob that was blonde and green eyes. "You must be his wife, i'm Irene." She stuck her hand out.

I flashed her a small smile. "Hello." I said, shaking her hand.

We broke our handshake as she turned to Toni. "Let's show you both inside." She said, before opening the gate with a remote, letting it slid open. We all walked inside the entrance to reveal a driveway but at the sides there were beautiful roses placed. "The past owners of this house loved roses." She stated as we walked on the porch.

"It is beautiful." Toni complimented as she unlocked the door.

She glanced at us. "Very." She responded, before opening the door. "Come on in." She told us, making room for the both of us. Toni squeezed my hand as we scanned the doorway.

"Everything is white." Toni uttered as we looked at the bright white walls.

I nodded in agreement. "Mhm." I hummed.

"They did love white." Irene giggled, taking us towards a room. "This here is a living room. Many windows, shows a lot of nature." She enlightened. I put my lips in a line scanning the floral sofa and chairs, I wasn't so sure about the house.

I glanced at Toni who didn't look satisfied by the house as well. "They must've loved flowers a lot." Toni announced as he looked at the art on the wall.

"Well, old people love nature. Anyways let me take you both to the kitchen." She walked ahead of us. Toni and I both looked at each other knowing what we had in mind.

"To the kitchen." I muttered, grabbing his hand as we walked into the kitchen right after her. It was like an old kitchen not very modern. I bit my lip scanning all over it, Toni's eyes widen at the sight.

Irene turned to me. "Do you like it." I sucked in a breath scanning it.

"I think I like modern stuff better." I answered, her smile slowly faded before nodding her head.

"You guys might not like upstairs, it is very old fashion." Toni ran a hand through his hair with his free hand, nodding his head.

He looked at me. "Alright, then we'll check out the next house. Thank you for your time."

We shook her hand as she smiled at us. "Have a nice day." She said, as we walked out of the house.

"You too." I responded, before we walked towards our car. I slipped inside the passenger seat the same time Toni did with the driver's seat. We both buckled our seatbelts before he drove off. "House number three?" I asked, he nodded his head.

"Hopefully this one won't be cracked and smell weird or old fashion." I laughed, looking out the window

I leaned back against the chair putting my hand on my stomach. "You mom and dad were fighting again." I spoke up, as my eyes were on the window ahead of us.

He sighed, in the corner of my eyes he rubbed his mustache. "It's his mother's fault." I shuffled uncomfortably at the thought of his grandmother. "He wants to bring her into the mansion because she's 'sick' but I know damn well she is acting just to destroy our lives." I interlocked my hands over my stomach.

"Toni. I want to tell you something but promise me you won't get angry at your father." He glanced at me confused, before paying full attention to the road. I placed my hand on top of his hand that was placed on the gear. "Earlier your mother and father were fighting." I began as he nodded his head for me to continue. "He said that he was rethinking about a divorce." I told him, causing him to chuckle.

He shook his head. "He would never divorce my mother." He said, looking straight ahead of him. "Every time they get into a fight they always bring up a divorce but never get one. They fight over the dumbest shit." He shrugged, before taking a turn into a neighborhood. A very expensive looking neighborhood.

"Travis is also trying to find a way to win Anna back."

Toni laughed shaking his head. "Already? Isn't that a little too fast?" He asked, shaking his head in disbelief. "She will not forgive him that easily, she's stubborn."

I raised an eyebrow at Toni. "Well, she has a right to be. He hurt her. He should be patient with her."

"Mhm." Toni hummed in response as a smile played on his lips. "I can't wait to see Travis trying to get her back. She's going to kick his ass." He laughed, before pulling over in front of a beautiful big house.

"Toni, this looks really expensive." I said, as I froze staring at it.

Toni looked over at me, leaning in kissing my cheek. "It is." He responded. "Now, come on." He went to unstrap his seatbelt but noticed that I wasn't moving.

"No." He looked at me confused. "This is really expensive, let's look for a cheaper house. I don't want you to waste all your money on a house just because of me." He chuckled, grabbing both my hands, bringing both my knuckles up to his lips kissing both.

"Babe, I could careless about money. Right now i'm trying to find a perfect house away from that drama in the mansion, a house just for me, you, and our child." My heart fluttered as I stared at him with a smile on my face. "I want to keep you both safe." I sighed in defeat.

"Let's go." I said, as we both unbuckled our seatbelts before slipping out of the car.

I walked over towards him grabbing his hand as he took us towards a very tall man who was waiting for us next to the driveway. "Welcome, Toni." He opened his arms.

"Thank you." The man opened the gate for us.

We walked in to see a beautiful driveway that had a fountain placed in the middle. "You both came to the right place." He smiled, before turning to me. "You must be the lovely Layla. I'm Tom." He stuck his hand out.

"Nice to meet you." I said, shaking his hand.

We broke our handshake. "You too." He sent me a smile. "Now, shall we begin?" Toni rolled his eyes playful at the man in front of us.

"No, we'll just wait outside." Toni said, sarcastically causing Tom to roll his eyes back at Toni.

"Follow me." He took the lead. "We recently placed this fountain because the driveway was too plan." He enlightened us, as he showed us the beautiful fountain. "There are also beautiful lights you can turn on at night."

"Layla loves stuff like that." Toni said, smirking down at me.

I blushed as he sent me a wink. Tom glanced between us with an amused look. "We are making progress, I guess." He walked towards the porch as we followed along. "There are little roses planted there." My eyes lightened up when I saw red roses. They were my favorite flowers. "I'm guessing you like red roses?" Tom asked.

I nodded my head. "They're my favorite flowers." I gave him a fact. Toni continued to stare down at me before squeezing my hand as Tom opened the door.

"Ah. This is the good stuff." We walked inside to see beautiful art on the wall as we stepped inside the doorway. "This is one of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings. You like art don't you Toni?" Toni sighed before nodding his head.

"No need to ask when you know. Tom." Toni said, as he scanned the paintings and drawing on the wall. It was beautiful art.

Tom lead us to an opening. "This is the living room." He said, revealing beautiful couches that were placed at the right placed as two windows were placed and a little piano. I used to play when I was in school.

"Beautiful." I commented, scanning the living room with a big smile placed on my face.

My eyes fell on Toni who was staring at me with sparks and eyes that had lightened up. I could see the love in them which made me blush. "Yes, very and now let's take you to the next room." He lead us to the kitchen. "Right here we have a beautiful kitchen. Very modern." It was beautiful.

Toni turned to me. "Do you like it?" He asked. A big smile came onto my face.

I nodded my head. "I love it."

He sent me a smile. "We are making great progress, let's take you both upstairs." He lead us out of the kitchen and towards the stairs case. I sucked in a breath as we walked up the beautiful stairs. "Let's show you the guestroom." He opened the door, revealing a brown bed with a brown dresser and nightstand. The floors had a white carpet. "Next room. This is the bathroom." He opened the bathroom revealing beautiful white sinks that was squeaky clean and toilet with a shower.

"Right here is another guest room same as the other one." He said, opening the door revealing everything the other one had. "This room over here." He walked towards another door far from the guestrooms. "Is an empty room since Toni was looking for one. There is one big window, with a great view." He opened the door revealing the empty room.

I scanned it to see a plain white wall. I walked over towards the window to see the view of the city. "Perfect." Toni said, as he let go of my hand scanning the place.

I smiled looking at the big room. "For our baby." I uttered, Toni turned to me smiling.

"Our baby." I giggled, smiling madly.

I was so happy today, this house just made me happier. It was beautiful and perfect. "Now let me show you the master room." We walked out of the empty room and towards a double door, he opened the door revealing a beautiful room with white furniture. There was a long length mirror placed against the wall as beautiful orange lights were on it. The wall behind the bed was grey as the other walls were white.

"This door right next to the dresser is the bathroom and right next to the bathroom is your closet room. He opened both doors revealing the beautiful glass bathroom. My eyes traveled to the closet to see an empty closet with shelves. "You have a porch right there." He pointed at the door a little a way from the mirror.

"This house is really beautiful." I said, looking around the bedroom.

Toni nodded in agreement. "Is this the house?" Toni asked, wrapping his arms around my waist looking down at me.

I bit my lip. It was the house, this was the type of house I've always wanted. "I believe so." Toni grinned, kissing my forehead. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you in this house." He whispered, against my ear. He slowly pulled away from me turning to Tom as he grabbed my hand. "We'll take it."

"Alright, just come back tomorrow, sign the papers, and pay. Then the house is all yours buddy." He patted Toni's shoulder.

"I'll see you then." We shook his hand.

"See you then." He smiled at us.

I sucked in a huge amount of breath looking around the house before Toni wrapped his arms around me kissing my head as he placed his hand on my stomach, stroking it gently.

Toni and I walked into the house hand in hand. I was excited to move into the new house and set up our baby's room but we have to put that on hold until we find the gender of our baby out. Toni opened the door and the first thing we heard was a glass being shattered on the ground.

Toni and I both looked at each other confused before we heard screaming and yelling that was owned by Jennifer and Jordan. Toni sighed, letting go of my hand and rushing into the living room with me following behind him as Travis quickly came down the stairs.

"This fight is pointless! Jordan." Jennifer shouted as they both stood over the broken vase on the ground.

Jordan's eyes darkened from anger and rage. "Who was the fucking idiot who started this fight!?" He shot back, they both breathed heavily glaring at each other.

Travis sighed from beside me. "What the fuck is going on here!?" Travis shouted, as he stepped right next to Toni who was just staring at them with no expression what so ever.

"You want to know!? Your mom is the cause of this!" Jordan answered, as he looked at Jennifer with pure anger.

Jennifer ran a hand through her hair. "You're the one that is trying to bring that evil woman into our house! You are trying to cause problems!" Toni shook his head, leaning against the wall not saying a word.

I felt an appearance behind me, turning around to see Kevin with an confused expression on his face as he held a very cute little boy. "Mom? Dad? What's going on?" He asked, stepping in with Brianna stepping in behind him they both scanned the place confused.

"They're fighting over your grandmother." Toni answered, as he sent his father a cold expression. "He's trying to bring her in." Kevin narrowed his eyes at his dad.

"Are you stupid? Have you seen how evil that woman is?" Kevin asked, as his son sucked his little thumb, staring at everyone with a confused expression on his face.

"I don't need your opinion either! Kevin!" Jordan shouted, causing the little boy in Kevin's arms to flinch and in an instant his son started to cry.

Kevin sighed. "Layla, can you take him until this is over." I nodded, reaching over taking his son from him.
