I fluttered my eyes opened looking up to see Toni already awake playing with my hair as my head was laying on his bare chest. "Good morning." He looked down at me.

"Morning." I smiled before sitting up and clutching onto the sheets around my body tighter, feeling my cheeks heat up thinking of last night.

Toni sat up with a smirk on his face. "Someone is blushing." He shot me a wink making me blush even more and look down at my hands shyly, he put his fingers under my chin making me look up at him and meet his gaze. "Don't be shy." He leaned in giving me a short sweet kiss.

I put a stray of hair behind my ear watching Toni get up and slip on his boxers. "I'm gonna go make breakfast while you go shower." I nodded my head as he walked out of the room leaving me alone in the bed.

I slowly touched my stomach. "Oh, doctors appointment today." I quickly reached for the nearest cloth on the floor which was Toni's dress shirt, throwing it on and quickly making my way to the bag that Toni had gotten for us.

I took out the outfit and undergarment then walked into the bathroom shutting and locking the door behind me, I stripped off his dress shirt putting it on the counter before walking towards the shower and turning on the hot water.

I slowly stepped in shutting the glass door behind me as the fog fell onto the glass. After washing my hair and body, I stepped out of the shower grabbing a towel from the cabinet drying myself then slipping on my undergarment and outfit .

I turned on the blow drier that was already on the counter and dried my hair. Once I was done drying my hair I unlocked the bathroom door and went to the bag taking out my makeup bag before walking back into the bathroom.

I looked in one cabinet to find a straightener which surprised me, I plugged my hair and straightened my hair then did my makeup when I was finally done I sprayed perfume then walked out of the room.

I walked down stairs to see a dressed and freshened up Toni setting the table up, he turned around and looked at me. "It looks amazing." I said looking at the table and the food he had cooked.

"Thank you." He winked, before pulling out a chair for me, I slowly took a seat as he pushed me in then took a seat from across me.

I sliced the pancake before putting it in my mouth. "This is amazing." I complimented his pancake once I finished swallowing. "Surprisingly you didn't burn it this time." He slowly looked up from his plate and sent me a playful look.

"Give me some credit, it was my first time." He said, making me chuckle.

"I give it to you." I told him taking a sip from my water. "Toni." He looked up at me. "I have a doctor's appointment today at eleven." He swallowed and looked at me then at my stomach.

He nodded his head. "We'll go after you eat." I nodded, he flashed me a smile.

We finished eating, and finished cleaning the plates, I walked upstairs picking my phone up and throwing it into my purse that Toni told one of the guards to get from the mansion, I turned around looking at Toni who was texting on his phone.

"Should we go?" I asked holding my stomach.

Toni looked up from his phone and at me nodding his head before locking his phone and sliding it into his pocket. "Let's go." He told me reaching for my hand and interlocking it.

We went downstairs and walked out of the penthouse, the guards opened the car door for us, I got into the passenger seat as Toni got into the drivers letting them shut the door behind us before Toni drove off.

I felt Toni's hand travel to my stomach, I put my hand over his, as he continued driving. "Who's your doctor?" He asked, glancing at me before focusing on the road.

"Stella Martinez." He furrowed the his eyebrow as he repeated the name like he was trying to remember who she was.

"I believe she is our butler's wife." He parked in front of he hospital. "I'm not very sure, come on let's go." He opened his car door as I opened mine and took out my purse before shutting the door behind me and grabbed Toni's hand interlocking it.

We walked into the hospital. "Her office." Toni lead us towards his office, we stopped in front of it and he knocked on it.

"Come in." Toni opened the door making her stand up and her eyes lightened as she saw him. "Toni Mahfud, my husband's boss?" She asked walking towards us when we stepped in and I shut the door behind us.

"Yes, I'am and he is a great man." She smiled brightly at him before her eyes fell on me and her smile became bigger.

"This must be your wife, Layla? Right?" She questioned and I nodded. "My husband told me they got Toni a very innocent and beautiful wife and now I see what he sees." She giggled making me blush and smile looking down at my shoes. "What are you two here for?" She asked walking back to her desk.

"Layla is pregnant and we want to take an ultrasound I believe she has an appointment with you."

"Oh! Yes! Your name did sound very familiar." She said looking at the list pointing at my name. "Do you want to get started now?" She asked and we nodded. "Come follow me." She opened her office door leading us towards the ultrasound room that was a few doors away from hers.

We walked in and she shut the door behind us. "Take off your coat, lift your shirt up as you lay down." I nodded handing my coat and purse to Toni who put it on the table, I laid down lifting my shirt up, Toni took a seat next to me.

"Is this your first pregnancy?" I nodded my head. "Okay this will be a little cold." She brought the blue gel put it on my stomach making me flinch at the coldness that came into contact with my skin. "Look on the screen you can see your baby there." She said moving the Ultrasound transducer.

I looked on the screen to see a tiny thing in me. "Looks like you are two weeks pregnant, and the baby looks like it's growing, do you want pictures?" She asked as she wiped the gel off my stomach, I didn't bother replying my eyes were stuck on the screen.

I felt my eyes water, am I going to be a good mother? Am I even ready? What if i treat it the way Larry and Mary did to me? Oh my god. "Layla?" Toni wiped my tear from my cheek. "I've been calling your name for a while, is everything okay?" He asked worriedly.

I nodded my head. "I was just thinking about a few things, and yes we'll take the pictures." She smiled and nodded her head. "I'll be right back." She said walking out of the room leaving me and Toni alone.

"Why were you crying, please tell me what you were thinking of." I sat up looking over at him while I held my stomach.

"What if I turn out like a horrible mother?" My voice cracked at the end. "I'm scared." I whispered, Toni pulled me into his arms.

"Everything is going to be fine, you are going to be a great mother, I know you will." He kissed the side of my head. "I'm the one that should be worried, I don't even know how to be a dad." He admitted, I pulled away reaching over and cupping one of his cheeks.

"You'll be a good dad." I smiled, Toni helped me down and I grabbed my coat and purse, the door opened revealing Stella with an envelope in her hands.

"Congratulations and here are your pictures." She sent us a smile, I reached up taking it from her and putting it in my purse.

"Thank you so much." I shook her hand, as I gave her a smile.

She soon shook Toni's too. "Come back next month and we'll do another ultrasound to see how it is." We both nodded. "Goodbye." Toni said it back for the both of us before we walked out of the room and out of the hospital.

We got into the car and Toni drove back to the mansion, I hugged my stomach. "What do gender do you think it'll be?" I asked.

Toni looked back at me. "Maybe a little Toni." He winked and I laughed a little.

"What if it's a girl?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Then we'll have a little Layla." I flashed him a smile before wrapping my arms around his bicep and lay my head on his shoulder as we drove to the mansion.

We came to a stop in the driveway of the mansion Toni huffed. I unfastened my seatbelt and got out the same time Toni did, we walked over to the door being greeted by one of the body guards standing there. "Welcome back, Mr.Mahfud and Mrs.Mahfud." Toni nodded and I flashed him a kind smile.

Before we entered the house, surprisingly it was quiet, Toni glanced down at me in surprised before he furrowed his eyebrows, we walked towards the living room to see Nia, with the two people that made my eyes widen.

"What the fuck are you two doing here!?" The two jumped back at Toni's outburst, Nia rolled her eyes looking over at Toni.

"Toni Mahfud! Be nice to our guest!" Nia said, Jennifer slowly looked up at me with guilt.

I held my stomach looking at the two sitting there. "Guest!? What fucking guest!? They are both gold digging liars!" He shouted, Jennifer quickly stood up making her way towards her son who was in full anger.

I closed my eyes before opening it meeting my exhausted with their blank gaze, I shook my head at them. "Toni." Nia warned, I kept my eyes glued to the two sitting in front of me. "I was just here telling them their daughter is pregnant." My heart dropped when she said 'daughter.'

"Daughter?" Kevin spoke up standing up. "They aren't her real parents! Why won't that get through your heads! Toni has explained it fifty times, my mom, Dad, even Layla!" Kevin shouted, Nia looked up at him with a death stare.

"Layla, wouldn't you want to say hi to your parents?" She asked, my eyes didn't bother moving from Larry and Mary.

I turned around and was going to walk out. "Layla." Mary's voice stopped me in my spot, I didn't turn around not wanting to meet their eyes. "We came here to apologize." I can hear the fake kindness in her voice.

I slowly turned around. "You don't have to-" She cut me off.

"Look, we do." She slowly walked towards me, I backed away when she got too close. "I'm sorry for everything I have ever done to you and so is your fath-" She cut herself off when she saw the look I sent her. "I mean Larry." I nodded my head.

"I accept your apology." I whispered, meeting her happy gaze, she tried pulling me into a hug but I moved away, Kevin and Toni looked at me in disbelief as everyone else was shocked how I accepted their apology. "I just need one thing from you." She smiled.

"What is it? You can ask for anything just be my daughter-" I cut her off.

"I want you to promise me you'll stay away from me." Her face dropped, my eye flickered to Larry who had a frown. "Both of you." My eyes flickered back to Mary.

"Lay-" She cut herself off. "You don't want to do that." I nodded my head.

"I do, I taught myself how to forgive the people who destroyed me because I know if I don't i'll be the one feeling guilty, i'll be the one suffering." I told them both. "Now promise me." My voice cracked in the middle.

The front door barged open and someone came running into the living room revealing my mom, who stood there staring at me and Mary in shock. "I promise." Mary whispered, I nodded my head looking over at Larry.

He nodded his head. "I promise." I looked up at them with teary eyes.

"Good." I told them before they walked past me and left the house, I let out a short breath closing my eyes blinking my tears away.

My mom stood in front of me. "Are you okay?" She asked worriedly, I smiled at her nodding my head, she quickly pulled me into a hug. "When Jennifer called I thought they were going to hurt you again." I squeezed her tighter. "I love you." She kissed my head.

"I love you too, mom." I smiled at her as we pulled away.

Toni walked over to me. "You're brave." I smiled up at him kissing his cheek.

A few minutes ago my mom left, we showed her and Jennifer the ultrasound pictures they were more excited then we were, I walked down stairs to see the maid. "Where is Toni?" I asked her flashing her a toothy smile.

She smiled at me. "He's at the backdoor." I nodded and walked towards the backdoor opening it hearing two people talking.

"Toni, please." I heard a voice that sounded like holly's.

"What the fuck do you want from me!?" He shouted making me flinch, they couldn't see me because a well was covering me, and I was going to turn around and walk away because I knew eavesdropping was rude.

But I froze when I heard something that made my heart sink. "I still love you, Toni!" She shouted making me clutch onto the door in case I fall in shock.

I cupped my mouth, I was going to turn around and run away but my foot slammed against the door frame. "Is someone there?" She asked, I was going to run but my foot was injured I couldn't even move it because of the pain.

Toni came into the few rushing over he froze when he saw me. "Layla!?" He came worriedly towards me. "What the hell happened?" He asked and I pointed at the dorm frame.

"I accidentally hit my foot at the door frame." He sighed picking me up bridal style.

"You need to be careful!" He scolded. "You have a child growing in you." I can tell he was holding back his anger and didn't want to yell at me.

I looked down. "I'm sorry." His face softened.

"It's alright." He said taking me towards the living room and set me on the couch as he took off my shoes looking at my foot. "You must of hurt your ankle." He touched my ankle making me wince in pain.

"Is she okay?" Travis' voice was heard making Toni freeze before continuing to message my foot making me gasp in pain, I looked at Travis who was sitting there with his head in his hands, I felt bad for him.

The girl he loves is still in love with his brother, and it hurts me knowing someone is in love with my husband, my heart sunk a little more. What if he was going to say he loves her back before I interrupted.

I looked at Toni who kept his eyes on my ankle. "Marine!" A small maid came rushing in. "Get some ice for my wife's ankle." He ordered her and she nodded rushing back out. "Does it hurt when I do this." He asked worriedly, as he gently touched it making me gasp in pain.

I quickly nodded, Marine came running in with a bag of ice, Toni quickly took it from her making me gasp and wince when the cold ice came in contact with my ankle. Holly slowly came in not making eye contact with me or Toni.

"How did that even happen?" Travis asked making Holly's eyes widen as Toni looked up at Holly with a glare.

Holly looked at me pleadingly, I looked down as a child I always hated lying, Toni cleared his throat looking at me. "Does it feel better?" He asked touching it gently, I slowly nodded it still hurt but not as bad.

I moved it and it didn't hurt as bad surprisingly, I took my foot off Toni's lap letting the ice pack fall next to him. "Are you okay?" Holly asked, before I could reply Toni spoke up.

"Why the hell do you care!? You caused this!" Toni shouted making Holly look at him with a pleading look. "Don't give me that look!" Travis stood up touching Toni's shoulder making him slap it off.

"Don't fucking touch me, Travis." I quickly stood up making my way towards Toni who looked like he was going to attack Travis.

Travis looked down. "Okay." Toni chuckled at him sarcastically.

"Acting innocent now, huh little brother?" He spat in disgust.

I slowly touched Toni. "Stop it." I whispered, he glanced down at me and shook his head.

"Toni, i'm sor-" Toni cut his brother off.

"Take that apology up your ass and don't forget take your slut too." I gasped at his hurtful words, Travis looked up at Toni with a hurt expression. "I'm just going to tell you one thing, Travis." He walked closer to Travis. "You shouldn't trust her." He said in anger. "I don't care about you but i'm telling you this because I want you to see what I saw." Toni didn't look like the guy I fell in love with.

He looked like someone else, he smirked before walking off leaving his brother and I stunned as Holly cried, Travis turned to Holly. "What is he talking about?" He asked, I turned around and walked away with my injured foot.

I went up the stairs and walked towards our room door, opening it revealing Toni who was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, I slowly made my way towards him, I quietly took a seat beside him.

I reached over taking his hand making him look at me. "Toni." I hesitantly spoke up. "I know Travis put you through a lot and made you go into a dark place, not trusting anyone, talking to anyone, and making you forget about love." He stared at me intensely as his eyes moved with my every movement. "He's your brother, and I think you should forgive him." He squeezed my had before letting go.

He shook his hand standing up. "I can't." I stood up grabbing his arm.

I nodded my head. "You can, just like how I did." He shook his head. "They put me through a lot too, they abused me and made me anti-social but I still forgave them even though they hurt me a lot." He moved away from me.

I can see the anger building up in him. "If you forgive him now you won't face the guilt later." His head snapped towards me.

"Shut up!" He shouted making me flinch back and move away from him. "Shut the fuck up!" My breath got caught in my throat as fear floated in my body. "He hurt me! He destroyed my life! He's the one that's going to carry the guilt! He's the one that's going to suffer! He's the one that's going to feel what I felt." The vein in his neck popped out.

He was furious angry, and it scared me. "If it wasn't for him you wouldn't have met me." I whispered making Toni clench his jaw.

"I don't give a fuck! He stole someone that was mine! Mine! The girl I loved, the girl I adored, I loved her and he took what was mine!" Tears ran down my face as I looked at the person standing in front of me like I didn't know who he was.

I slowly nodded my head. "I guess i'm nothing to you then." I whispered, Toni's breathed heavily from the yelling, I looked down at my hands. "You still love her, If i hadn't interrupted you would have probably confessed your love back." He looked at me in shock, I held my sob back. "Forgiving won't harm anyone." I said before grabbing my purse on the bench in front of our bed before walking off leaving him there.

I opened our room door and walking out shutting it behind me, covering my mouth as I cried silently, I shook my head before running down the stairs not caring about my still injured leg, I bumped into someone's hard chest.

Looking up to see Kevin. "Layla? Are you alright?" He asked, and I shook my head no. "Do you wanna talk about it?" I shrugged as tears continued to stream down my face. "Come let's get out of here." He lead me out of the house. "There is this park a couple of blocks down, let's go there." I nodded my head.

We walked away from the mansion in silence as we made our way to the park, I took a seat on the bench and he sat next to me. "What happened?" I wiped my tears.
