"So...Toni, Layla are you thinking of having children yet?" Sara asked, making me stop eating and look at him with wide eyes.

Toni glanced at me and cleared his throat. "I think it's a bit early." He got up. "I need to go to the office." He looked at me and nodded with a fake smile.

I nodded and stood up, we walked out of the dining room and towards the door. "When will you be back?" I asked.

He opened the door. "i'll be back at six o'clock." He walked out not even sparing me a glance, i looked down and shut the door.

I turned around to see Anna walking out of the dining room and towards me. "You stole him away from me." She glared. "We were dating! And you ruined it! You made him break up with me! This is your fault! How aren't you guilty for ruining a relationship?" She argued making my heart sink.

I looked at her in shock. "Wh-what?" I ruined a relationship? Oh my god. "I-i'm so sorry." I couldn't tell her i was forced into this marriage or she would tell everyone in the world starting from the pres then Toni would kill me.

She chuckled sarcastically. "Stop playing innocent! I know you are a devil, you are just playing him for his money!" She grabbed my arm tightly. "You will lose! He will be mine! And guess what i'm going to be Anna Mafhud when you are out of the picture." She pushed me then walked off.

What is going on in my life, i walked upstairs to my room. "What did my parents do to me?" I told myself opening the balcony door sitting down on one of the chairs.

"Layla?" I heard someone say from behind me, i turned around to see Katherine. "Can i join you?" She asked and i nodded. "I'm sorry." I gave her a confused look.

"For what?" I asked.

She shook her head. "For you being forced to marry my brother." She looked at me. "You were forced to marry my brother who hates love." I looked at her confused. "I'll tell you the reason when the time is right." She said.

I sighed. "Since i was a teenager i wanted to know how love feels, but it's too late for that." I shrugged.

Katherine shook her head. "No, it's not! Layla you can change Toni, i know you can. Both of you can fall in love there is so much time left." Katherine said making me shake my head no. "If you don't do it! I will! I will make both of you fall for each other." She got up and flashed me a smile then walked out of the room.

I bit my lip, how can i make my own husband fall in love with me? My husband that despises love for a reason, i sighed and got up walking into my room shutting the balcony door, my life is like a game and it just started.

I walked into the company everyone stopped what they were doing and flashed me a smiled, i know their smile is fake they are scared. I rolled my eyes and shook my head walking into the elevator clicking the button.

The elevator door opened and i walked out to see my secretary in my office, putting down some files for me. "Hello, Mr.Mahfud." She greeted in a seductive way.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Hello Samantha." I said walking past her sitting down on my office chair.

She walked over to me swaying her hips, she leaned down to my ear. "I can show you a lot of fun." She whispered in my ear.

I moved away from her and smirked. "I don't think my wife would like that." I looked at my computer in front of me then glanced at her to see her mouth dropped. "If you ever do that again i will have to fire you."

She nodded immediately. "Yes, sir." She said nervously.

I nodded. "Now go back to your job." She walked out of my office in a hurry, i opened the files on my desk and read them then sighed them, it was quiet until the phone on my desk rang. I sighed and picked it up.

"Mr.Mahfud, your wife is here to visit you she says she needs to see you." I heard Melissa say.

What is she doing here? What does she need? "Send her up." I said then hung up, what does she need? I heard a soft knock on the door. "Come in." The door opened and Layla walked in with her head down, shutting the door behind her. "Why did you come here?" I asked.

She looked up at me. "Anna told me something." She looked everywhere except me. "Is it true?" I looked at her confused. "Is it true that i ruined yours and Anna's relationship?" She finally asked.

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Who told you that?" Crossing my arms.

"Anna." She answered letting out a shaky breath.

I rubbed my face. "We were never in a relationship." I stood up, why would Anna every say something like that, she isn't that type of person. "Did you make it up?" I clenched my jaw.

She looked at me in shock. "Yo-you think i would make something up?" She asked in disbelief, i gave her a 'really' look. "I would never make up a lie about someone. I'm not that type of person." She shook her head. "You don't even know me, you don't know what goes on in my life, it's all because you hate me." She looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

For some reason looking at her cry made my heart tight, i couldn't look at her crying. "I-i'm such an idiot, i should have never came." She backed away then walked out of my office, what did i do? Actually i did a good thing because she probably did make that up.

I sat back down, rubbing my face in frustration. "I'm sick of this bullshit life." I muttered then went back to what i was doing before.

Why would he think i would make up a lie about someone, i'm not that type of person, i walked out of the company and saw the driver waiting for me, he flashed me a kind smile then opened the door for me, i smiled back in return then got into the car.

I looked at the window as we drove by, my life is filled with problems. I was forced to marry someone, my parents are acting like i'm their enemy, a woman that i have never seen in my life wants me to read a letter filled with a truth, and i don't know what that truth is.

I sighed and opened my bag taking out the envelope in my purse, I opened the envelope taking the letter out. it says:

Layla my beautiful girl, you've grown so much and you look beautiful, The last time i saw you, you were five months and now looking at you, you are a grown woman but you will always be my little girl, i wish i could have held you in my arms, but i never could and the horrible thing is you've grown up living in a bunch of lies, right now your reading this probably wondering what lies? And what am i talking about. Layla the truth is-

The driver cut me off from reading the rest. "We made it." He said, i hurried and put it back in the envelope then stuck it in my bag, the driver opened the door for me, i got out and walked back into the house to see Jordan walking towards the door.

He looked at me and smiled. "Layla, can i talk to you?" He asked and i nodded walking towards him. "i told your parents that you would work at the company, they said yes but i need your answer also." I looked at him and bit my lip.

"I-i don't know." I shrugged.

He put his hand on my shoulder. "Please for me." He said, i gave up and nodded. "Great! You will be working tomorrow, your office will be ready by tomorrow." He was so happy, i smiled at him. "I have to go now."

"bye." I said then he walked out, my first time working somewhere.

I walked upstairs into my room, taking the envelope out of my purse i was gonna read it when someone knocked on the door, i rushed over to the nightstand putting it into the drawer, i went over to the door and opened it to see Katherine smiling happily. "Dad told me you will work at the company." She said excitedly.

I nodded smiling at her happiness. "Yeah i'am." I answered.

She squealed. "That's great i can introduce you to some of my friends." She said, i looked at her with a frown. "Trust me they will love you." I put on a fake smile.

What if they don't? "Oh i need to go now me and Kevin are going out having a little sister and brother bonding time."

"Have fun bye." I said and she walked away flashing me a smiled, i shut the door.

I walked towards the bed, laying down on it, i sighed then closed my eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.

(Toni's Pov)

I entered the house, it was quiet shocking, it never this quiet. I saw one of the maids. "Where is everyone?" I asked.

She looked at me and smiled. "Your parents went to the company, your sister and brother went out, while Sara and Anna went somewhere which they didn't say, While Layla is upstairs in her room." I nodded and walked upstairs then into my room, slowly opening the door to see Layla sleeping.

I realized i was staring at her for to long, why am i staring at her? Dammit Toni snap out of it. I slowly walked towards my nightstand trying to find my file, i grabbed it and walked out of the room quietly making sure Layla doesn't wake up, i walked to the office opened the door then turned on the lights shutting the door behind me.

I walked towards the desk, and sat down opening the file to see the envelope the woman gave me to give Layla was in my file, What the hell is it doing in here? It's opened did she read it? I picked up the envelope and took out the letter.

They took you away from me and your real father when you were only five months, the woman you thought was your mother was my best friend but she got jealous when i was pregnant with you, so one day i left you with my sister so i could get you some milk and once i came back, my sister was on the ground passed out and you were gone. They took you away from me, and we tried looking for you but you were gone we couldn't find you.

After 7 years had past your father said he had found you, and you had gotten older, We went to Mary and Larry they threatened to kill one of us, you me or your father if we took you back or if we called the cops, so we left, after years of trying to get you back. Who would use a innocent person for money, i ran upstairs with the letter in my hand, i opened the door to see Layla sitting up awake, she looked up at me confused. "Is there something wrong."
