《The Pet》View

We drove in silence for the first five minutes. And the whole time I was thinking about my life coming to an end. While, at the same time trying not to touch the back of the seat so I am not in pain and also not getting the car bloody.
"What's your name?" Zayne asked. I flinched a little as it caught me off guard. I looked at him confused and scared.
"Your name isn't on the folder, and I am guessing you would want to be called by your name and not a number or worse, 'pet'. So what is it?"
In the shop you were given a number as your identity. So we would be called by number.
I looked at him for a while before responding,
"Emberlynn"
"Alright, Emberlynn it is then." He said back. After that, the rest of the car ride was silent.

Once we arrived at the castle, I stepped out of the car and I looked up to see the biggest castle I have ever seen.
It was all black with red accents all throughout the outside. It had a darkness but also an elegance to it which is what made it beautiful. It probably was about 300 feet tall, and could fit thousands of people in it.
I snapped out of my trance when the car door shut after Zayne got out. He grabbed my leash and we started walking into the castle.
I really didn't want to walk in knowing I look like shit, while everyone else was clean and dressed nice but, what choice do I have?
The doors opened and immediately people were out in the grand hall talking and laughing. It was about lunch time as well so there were people eating at the table. As we were walking to his room, I started getting stares at by almost every vampire in the room, probably for the fact that I look awful and the prince just bought a pet. I had the tendency to hold onto my necklace while walking up the stairs and past the vampires, but I couldn't, which made me panic more about not being able to hold it.

Once we got to the room, Zayne took out his key to unlock the door to his room. He seems like a very closed off person who doesn't like to talk much to people, seeing that he didn't say a word to anyone as we walked in and how he hasn't said much to me either.
His room was absolutely beautiful. It had dark brown wood on every wall, the ceiling, and floor.
When you walk in, the first thing you see is a beautiful tall window with a sitting area right by it. I could tell that was going to be my favorite place. On the left was his king sized bed with dark red covers and red and gold pillows. To the right side of the bed was his desk for work and To the right of that was the bathroom a couple feet away. To the right side of the room, was a couch facing the bed and right behind it was a table and two rocking chairs facing the fireplace on the far right side of the wall. He also had his closet in the corner of the fireplace. Overall the place was beautiful.
"You can go take a shower, all the stuff you need is in there." He said as we took off his leather coat. It wasn't until then, I didn't realize how fit he really was. I could see his muscles through his shirt. He was slim but had a good amount of muscle.
"Thank you master-" I was cut off by him replying,
"Don't call me master, as long as we're in here just call me Zayne." He said while taking off my leash.
"Oh ok" I said as I walked into the bathroom.
I shut the door, and I didn't even dare myself to look in the mirror. But I did anyway and wanted to gag at what I saw. Dirty hair that you couldn't even tell was blonde and looked like a rat nest. Dirt all over my face and dress that also had dry blood. Did he really just see me like this? Ew.

I stripped off that disgusting dress and hopped in the shower. The warm water hitting my skin felt like heaven but also painful for my back. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that was provided and cleaned up. When I was done, I felt ten times better all ready. I put on the new white dress that was given to me with new underwear and bra as well. The dress was way cuter than the one at the shop. This one looked more like a dress than an ugly nightgown.
Once fully dressed I walked out to see him grabbing stuff out of the drawer and walking towards me.
"Lift up your dress." He said while preparing the stuff on his desk.
I looked at him in shock. "For your back, I promise I won't look or do anything else." He said with a look of reassurance.
I gave in and slowly turned around and lifted the dress over my head revealing my gashed back while still covering my front . "I am going to have to unclip your bra, ok?" He said, I nodded and he unclipped the bra and started to apply cream to the wounds. My breath hitched as I felt his cold finger slide along my back applying cream. I tried not to groan but it was hard.
"Sorry, I am almost done."
Did he just apologize? Why is he being so nice? Is he supposed to be ruthless with no remorse?
I don't know honestly but I am not complaining.
He finished bandaging up my back and clipped my bra back and cleaned up the medical stuff.
"Thank you" I said quietly while adjusting my dress.
"You're welcome, oh and also you don't need to wear your leash in here, you don't need it." He said while closing the drawer.
"Ok" I responded while slowly going towards the window to sit down and look out to the world I hadn't seen in a decade.
It may not be the best thing to happen to me becoming the prince's pet but, I think I could get used to this view.
