When Taehyung woke up the next morning, he was sure of four things. One, he was freezing. Two, he was alone, where is Jeongguk? Three, it was almost 11:00 a.m. And finally, he was in desperate need of a shower.
Groaning because he had to leave the softness of the younger's bed, he'd definitely have to sleep there more often, he begrudgingly stands from the bed, raising his arms over his head to stretch his slightly aching body.
Satisfied with the pops that leave his bones, he smiles tiredly to himself as he stumbles through Jeongguk's room, opening the door and leaving it open behind him, simply too tired to close it.
When he walks down the hallway towards the living room to see if anyone else is awake, he sees a fluff ball of black hair and smiles upon realizing that it was Jeongguk.
"Ggukie~" He whined, his deep voice echoing through the house that the seven shared. Upon hearing his name, the younger turned around to see Taehyung walking towards him with a smirk on his lips. "Why did you leave me alone in bed? It's cold without you-"
When Taehyung gets close enough, he sees that Jeongguk is in fact, not the only male in the living room. The rest of the members are all huddled on the couch and chairs, now staring at him wide-eyed with shock and confusion.
Except Jimin and Jeongguk.
Jimin looked like he was holding back laughter with his bottom lip being held by his teeth as he shot a glance at the youngest of the group.
Jeongguk's eyes were the size of saucers, his mouth hanging agape as his entire face began to turn a shade of deep pink. Taehyung sees that he has a blanket on and he seems quite bundled up.
"Uh Tae..." A voice begins, and everyone snaps their attention to the speaker. Namjoon. "Why were you sleeping in Jeongguk's bed? With Jeongguk?"
Taehyung gulps, a nervous sweat starting to spread over him. Fuck, it wasn't supposed to happen like this. He hadn't even-
"Ah, guys, remember that Taehyung took Jeongguk home yesterday after he threw up? He probably just fell asleep while looking after our cute-little-sick-maknae~" Jimin says, rolling his eyes playfully while pinching Jeongguk's red cheeks.
"Right Tae?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow which told Taehyung to just go with whatever the blonde man had said.

Taehyung nods, plastering a fake smile on his face, hoping that it was convincing enough. It seemed to work as Namjoon just shrugged and everyone went back to doing what they were doing before.
However, Yoongi eyed the two suspiciously before going back to his conversation with Hoseok, who did not look like the sunshine right now. Contrary to popular belief, Hoseok was not always the happy-go-lucky man everyone thought he was. Oh no. In the morning, or when he's tired, he's a vicious killer, taking down everyone who stood between him and sleep.
"I just don't know how you got so sick, so suddenly Ggukie," Seokjin questioned, fussing over Jeongguk like a parent would their toddler, and placing a hand over his head. "He doesn't even feel warm!"
"I-I just feel nauseas, t-that's all, I-I'm sure I'll be fine soon." Jeongguk assures, offering the older males a tight smile as he rests his head against the back of the couch.
"If you insist..." Seokjin says warily, watching the younger intently. "But you have to rest all day, and take the meds I've been trying to give you for an hour."
"I really don't need medicine, hyung." Jeongguk stresses, and Taehyung can see that his patience is wearing thin.
"Jeongguk," A deep voice interrupts, making everyone look up. "Just take the meds. We can't have you being sick so close to a concert. ARMY will worry." Yoongi says, resting his chin on his palm.
"Yeah, and we're worried about you," Hoseok smiles faintly. "We don't want our precious maknae sick, now do we?"
Jeongguk sighs, nodding his head, which Seokjin took as his cue to get the medicine from the cupboard and a glass of water. When he returns, he hands both to Jeongguk and watches him swallow, satisfied.
The seven stay in the same place, enjoying the silence that passed over them, until Namjoon broke it, saying that they had things to do.
"But it's our day off," Yoongi groans, his head falling on Hoseok's shoulder who also whines. Jeongguk just stares off into space, the drugs having an obvious affect on his conscious state. Taehyung smiles at his cuteness.
"Well, it needs to be done." Namjoon states, standing abruptly and motioning for everyone to do the same.
"What about Jeongguk?" Seokjin says, worry laced in his tone as he looks down at the 'sick' male.

A smile spreads over Jimin's face as he looks towards Taehyung, sending him a quick wink. Taehyung stares back. What?
"Well, we can't have Jeongguk doing things when he's sick," Jimin says, patting Jeongguk's head softly while the younger continues to stare into space. "And Taehyung watched him yesterday, so we'll just let him babysit again today." He concludes, igniting the look Jeongguk gives him before going back to his trance.
"I mean, yeah, I guess. Taehyung, would you?" Namjoon asks, looking towards the silver headed man, who was leaning against the wall with a confused expression.
"I, uh y-yeah, no problem." He stammers, cocking his head when Jimin winks at him again. Why is he doing that?
Taehyung remained confused as the members all got up and grabbed their things, money, masks, glasses, etc., waving him bye as he goes over to Jeongguk to check on him.
"Hey Ggukie," He says, smiling when the younger sniffles cutely, nodding slightly, the drugs he didn't need muddling his thoughts. "I'm gonna take a quick shower OK? Do you want the t.v. on or anything?"
"Mm." Jeongguk hums, motioning at the large screen that sat in front of the couch he was currently sitting on. Taehyung complies, turning the t.v. on before carding his fingers through the younger's hair and heading to the shower.
When he's inside the bathroom, he undresses immediately and throws his clothes into the bin before looking at himself in the mirror. His eyes widen at the few hickies on his neck, and he touches them gently, feeling a sense of pride wash over him. He smirks to himself when he sees the angry red lines that mark his upper shoulders. Damn.
Feeling giddy, he jumps into the shower, letting the warm water wash over his body as he reaches for his shampoo bottle. As he massages the soap into his scalp, he goes back to just a few minutes prior, where Jimin was acting so...weird.
And why did he say Jeongguk was sick? And why does it seem like he knows? That he knows that him and Jeongguk snuck off to fuck? There's no possible way he could, but there's no other explanation.
Sighing, Taehyung decides to ignore it for now, and that he'll confront Jimin later about it. He didn't want to cause any problems, and he certainly didn't want the other members to know anything yet.
Not wanting to leave Jeongguk alone for long, Taehyung hastily finishes his shower and wraps a towel around his waist, dashing into the hallway quickly to his room and grabbing shorts and a blue shirt.
He doesn't bother to dry himself completely before he leaves his room, strolling down the hallway to the living room again, a grin on his face as he sees Jeongguk laying in a very uncomfortable position with his eyes closed.
Carefully, Taehyung sits down next to him and gently grabs his body, shifting it so that the younger's head rests on his shoulder. Jeongguk mumbles something before he opens his eyes sleepily, noticing the position change, his face begins to turn pink.
"I-I'm sorry, I think I started t-to doze off," He says nervously, avoiding Taehyung's gaze.
"It's OK, you probably need sleep, you know, practice, the medicine, yesterday..." Taehyung lowers his voice suggestively, watching the younger's face blush deeper.
"I- no, that's n-not-"
"Hush, baby, just lay down and go back to sleep." Taehyung says, keeping his voice soft, but firm enough so that Jeongguk will listen. He slips his hand behind Jeongguk's neck and brings his head to rest on his shoulder again, placing his own head over the younger's and sighing.
"O-OK." The ravenette mumbles, hiding his flushed face in Taehyung's shoulder.
Taehyung chuckles at his cuteness, breathing deeply as he closes his eyes. Wait. His eyes snap open, and he takes another deep breath through his nose.
"Ggukie," He says, hearing the other hum in response. "Did you use my shampoo?"
He feels Jeongguk smile against his flesh, and he smirks. "I think you're just imagining what you want, hyung."
"Mhm. There are many things I want. For one, I want you underneath me and whining my name-"
"Taehyung!" The younger gasps, slapping Taehyung in the stomach lightly, feeling his cheeks burn. Taehyung just laughs, resting his head back down against Jeongguk's and closing his eyes, breathing in his scent mixed with Jeongguk's as he loses to sleep once again with the ravenette next to him.
