Chapter 19
Louis's POV
I stood there staring, I looked at his arms then at his blood stained hands, then back at his arms. I fell to my knees, and crawled over beside him, I snatched the blade from his hand and tossed it across the floor. He seemed as though he was in shock, I don't think I was supposed to find out about this... He looked at me, tears in his eyes, his bottom lip quivering, he reached out his arms for a hug, I practically squeezed him to death I held him so tight, I spread my legs apart and pulled him close to my chest, he snuggles closer to me shivering, and rubbing his fingers over the cuts on his arm. I reached over and grabbed a roll of toilet paper from out of the cupboard under the sink. I held his right arm in my hand, then began wrapping toilet paper around it, when I finished, I took his other arm and did the same, I stood up and washed my hands, then grabbed his blade and flushed it down the toilet, he stared at me in awe as he sniffled a bit more. "t-that w-was m-mine..." He finally said, clenching his fists, not in anger but more, disappointment. I shook my head, as tears welled up in my eyes, I sat down next to him and we didn't speak.
A while later he started to doze off, I smiled through tears, as helped him up and we went into our bedroom. I sat on the bed and looked at him, he must have not felt welcomed, and sat on the floor, crying again. I've never seen someone cry so much...I patted a spot on the bed, the motioned for him to come over. He nodded and got to his feet, he flopped on the spot beside me and hid his face in a pillow, "H-Harry..." I stammered, through sobs, unable to look at him. He glared at me and shoved one of his arms in my face, he'd taken off the toilet paper and his arm was fully exposed now, I carefully held his arm in my hands, running my fingers over his scars, I stopped when I got to the fresh cuts, "you want a bandage?" I asked, releasing his arm as he pulled it close to his chest, he nodded and sighed, wiping his eyes again. "ok" I murmured, I got to my feet and headed for the door, "would you like anything else" I asked, before leaving. He looked up at me and whispered "you" I bit my lip as I swallowed the huge lump in my throat. I nodded, the ran out the door. When I entered the living room, Niall stared at me and started laughing, I scowled at him and opened the cabinet above the kitchen sink, I pulled out a box of band aids, I then turned in the faucet and got Harry a glass of water. I grabbed the band aids and turned to leave.

"What happened to you?!" Niall snickered.
"Nothing m just....having a chat with Harry that's all.."
"Uh hu...then why are you crying?"
"Shut up"
~~an hour later~~
After putting on Harry's bandages and helping him get comfortable, I sat him down and demanded he tell me what was going on, he yawned and shook his head saying "in the morning" I agreed, he was probably exhausted. He asked me to hold him and if we could just lay in bed and watch a movie.
"Of course love, anything you want" I whispered, into his ear and running my fingers through his hair. "t-thank you" he sniffed, laying his head against my chest and putting his hands under the side of his head.
he fell asleep, not even half way through the movie, but I didn't mind. At least I got to watch over him, I wanted to make him feel safe, as it seemed like he'd been scared and alone for so long he'd forgotten how to trust people, I hope he trusts me, I want him to know I'd never hurt him, I love him.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" I mumbled, kissing the top of his head. I hope I can make things right, and I will. I wrapped my arms around Harry, and pulled him closer, "I won't leave you, ever" I whispered to him, I know he's asleep but it felt good to say, whether he heard me or not.
