《Paint Me a Poetry》01: A Family of Misery

My family’s a picture of distress,

Our emotional bonds we suppress.

Cold barriers to our fate press,

The buttons that make us a mess.

The father’s a hypocrite that acts almighty,

He’s a skeptical creature who distributes misery.

Without a drink he feels a little jittery,

Even so, he acts as if he’s purity.

The mother’s a masochistic wife,

Who bears to live a miserable life.

She works all day to stop a strife,

But ends up being thrust with a knife.

I am then the emotionless child,

Who to his madness never hide.

Deception is my biggest pride,

An act where everyone ride.

The second sister acts like rich,

Her status and looks do not stitch.

She sometimes loves to preach,

But her words the wall's the only reach.

The third one loves her friends more,

In the streets they act so hardcore

I can say she is rotten to the core,

Bothered by the fact that she is poor.

The last one’s a beautiful bitch,

Who to my aunts continue to leech.

All her drawings she wanted to pitch,

But its worth lies deeper in the ditch.

Yeah, that's what I get for a family,

Sad I am to what they come to be.

Since they care not of what others see,

They end up overdoing what makes their glee.
