Adrenaline rushed through her veins, staring at the woman sitting in front of Sahar. The slightest scepticism filled in her ebony orbs pondering if Miraal could kill a human? Psychopath? Was she a psychopath who was obsessed with Shahveer and he wasn't even aware of it?

Sahar glanced towards Izhaan who kept staring at the bowl kept in front of him. The gelato kept melting slowly, realising the fog of the coolness but they had no appetite to have some.

"Izhaan? Sahar? Why aren't you guys eating the ice cream? It's melting!" Meesha stated.

Shahveer had called Sahar to come to the ice cream parlour and when she said that she is with Izhaan, he called him too. Though Izhaan was hesitant to join because of Miraal, he can never leave Sahar alone with Miraal. He thought Miraal should know that Sahar is engaged to him so he decided to join.

"The ice cream is superb. Why don't you guys try it?" Shahveer asks.

Glancing at each other before Izhaan spoke, "We have got no appetite because we just had dinner at The Empire hotel."

In the presence of the name of the hotel where Falak was killed, Miraal looked towards Izhaan thrilled but sighed in relief when he completed his sentence. "That's a nice hotel. One can do many things there, they've got a lot of facilities," she smirked. Izhaan palms turned into a tightened fist as memories flashed in his mind.

"Really?" Shahveer questioned. " I didn't know that. I thought The Galaxy hotel was superior to The Empire hotel."

Miraal smiled; shaking her head, "No, they are equal but for me, The Empire hotel is the best. I mean the facilities they serve there is just out of the world."

"You are sounding like you can kill a person there," Sahar stated, laughing. Indirectly trying to tease her. Miraal stared at her taken aback for a while. Izhaan glanced shocked towards Sahar, scared that Miraal might hurt her.

Shahveer laughed together with Sahar as she took a spoonful of her ice cream. "Miraal killing a person would be what a sight to see," he surmised still chuckling looking at Sahar. Miraal glared at Shahveer, "Do you want me to kill you at The Empire hotel then Shahveer?"

"Oh yes please cousin!" He played along.

"By the way, Sahar and I have decided that we'd be getting married this December. Is it alright for you guys? You guys will be available right?"

Emotions; different types of emotions could be felt for the people sitting there. Happiness raged through Miraal's eyes whereas a hint of sadness was depicted in Shahveer's eyes.

Sahar glanced at Shahveer, if only they were aware of the fact that they love each other, the world would be a better place for them. He covered his mood with a smile, plastering an emotion that he isn't feeling.

"I am happy for you guys..." He said not feeling anything.

Lie.

Sahar's subconscious mind mocked but she kept staring at his jet black orbs and could notice that he wasn't happy. She knew she loved him more than Izhaan but destiny's game was huge. How would she break Izhaan's heart just to be with the one she loves?

Whereas his heart broke into many pieces facing the reality, screaming that he should at least let her know of his feelings, maybe she would have mutual feelings. Maybe...

"Same here peeps!" Meesha exclaimed passing a soft smile but she wasn't happy either. She knew Shahveer and Sahar liked each other the moment they were clicked together. Their vibe radiated like they were made for each other.

Their eyes were locked, trying to find answers to their unasked questions. Just once if they get to know what they feel about each other, just once!

"Congratulations to you both!" Miraal grinned, there was no one happier in the arena than her, not even Izhaan himself. "Thanks!" Izhaan said without looking at Miraal but at the bowl of ice cream, finally eating a spoon of it.

"It's late. I guess we should rush home," Sahar broke the eye contact looking at her wristwatch. They retreated to their home soon after. Miraal to her's and Izhaan to his' but he was scared every second about Sahar's life.

The whole ride to home in Shahveer's car went silent. None of them talked nor did they try. He glanced at her through the back view mirror. There she was, emotions and dreary. The melancholy heartbroken lovers cried with pain, unknowingly.

Sahar bit her lip controlling her hiccup. On the other side, droplets of tears fell from his beautiful jet black ocean with his heart feeling immense pain. He knew he loved her if only destiny could give them a chance.

Arriving at the destination, Sahar didn't utter a word and walked out of the car as soon as he parked. Meesha walked slowly behind her. Shahveer sat there, still as several tears gushed down his cheeks.

"At least let her know," a voice stated from outside of the car. Shahveer looked outside the car to find his father, Jahangir standing.

"Baba?" He blurted out wiping his tears. Jahangir opened the door and made him stand in front of him. "My son, my pride, my everything! I have never seen you cry." Just as he stated, Shahveer couldn't help but a hiccup left his mouth. He hugged his father and cried. Jahangir let him. A while later he questions,

"You love Sahar, don't you?"

"You knew, Baba?" Shahveer stood up straight, shocked.

"Everyone does." He ruffled his hair. "It's just you two."

"The way you care for her. The way you have started to prioritise her in your life. Everyone could see that."

He stared at his father as happiness ranged through his eyes. His love was pure, naive and beautiful just like they were.

"She is engaged to Izhaan."

"So what?" He asked without hesitation. "She is just engaged not married."

He smiled at Shahveer stroking his son's hair gently,

"There's always hope even in the darkest times. You just need to visualise everything properly."

Shahveer realised that he needs to express his love before it was too late. Sahar needs to know that he loves her. Even if she didn't love him, she needs to get aware of the fact that he loves her so damn much that he could do anything for her.

"Tell her, tell her that you love her immensely. Just ask for a chance. What if she loves you? What if she is waiting for you to express? Things can be different my boy!"

Shahveer hugged his father expressing, "Thank you, Baba! I will try my best."

On the other side, Sahar sat with his father in his room as he ate his dinner.

"Nai Papa. I ate a lot," Sahar smiled in the dim light turquoise room.

Moonlight peeking through the long french windows. "Great that you went out except your office," Shahnawaz stated. She smiled.

"Baba, can I ask you something?"

Shahnawaz munched his tortilla listening to her. He nodded staring at his daughter.

"What should one do if they love something dearly but can't have them because it can break another person's heart?"

Shahnawaz smiled, unaware of the pain his daughter is going through, "Allah(SWT) always has better plans. Trust him with whatever you are doing. You know what's right and wrong. Just trust him and live."

She nodded. Everything was numb, she didn't even pain now. Things seem too blurry for her at the moment.

"You seem tired. Take some rest, beta."

She agreed and stood up to leave. "Shabba Khair, Baba!" He reciprocated her greet.

Walking lifelessly in the corridor as the wind from the heavy rain escaped from the huge long windows of the mansion.

'Should I tell Izhaan that I love Shahveer?' She wondered. A shiver ran through her spine looking at the view outside the window, the massive cloudburst could be heard with the huge pitter-patter of the rain.

Her phone rang making her look at the caller ID.

The person who loves her, Izhaan.

She took the call and kept the phone near her ear, "Hello?"

"You are fine right?" He questioned without any time waiting.

"Yes, I am Izhaan. You don't need to worry. I am totally fine."

"I met Miraal."

His sentence was enough for her to stand up straight. Goosebumps ran through her whole body listening to the uncomfortable silence from his side. "What did she do?"

Driving in silence when his mind screamed many things. Fear for Sahar's life was one among them. Gripping on the steering wheel, his breath came out like a shattered wind Turning off the air conditioner as he was already cooled down with the amount of fear he was feeling.

He didn't care about his life, it was just Sahar. Just to make Miraal believe that Sahar has no space in Shahveer's life, he stated about their wedding in December.

Suddenly, a car stopped in front of him. He pressed on the break spontaneously shocked from the sudden arrival of a brand new luxurious car in front of his black Audi.

His breathing went up and down as he realized how close they were to meet with an accident.

"Are you out of your mind?" He yelled through the window. The range rover standing in front of his car with tinted windows didn't show the driver.

Izhaan strode out of the car with anger bubbling out of him. The door of the car opened as the driver walked out. The sound of the heel-clicking against the road could be heard. Izhaan's expression turned disgusted as soon as he saw the person.

Miraal Alam.

"Yes, I was out of my righteous mind," she stated with a smirk playing on her lips making Izhaan roll his eyes. "Sahar and you?"

She questions. Izhaan stood silent, glaring at her like a hawk, "I mean Izhaan you thought you could fool me?"

"You are mad, Miraal. You are mad," his voice came out like a blaze of fire. Gritting his teeth he began, "You can't just kill every person that comes in Shahveer's life."

Miraal giggled. The sound of her giggles sparked cold shivers in him. "Sahar is mine from the 2 decades she lived with me under one roof. If you even touch her. I swear I will kill you myself, Miraal. Don't test my patience on this." He stated angrily. His index finger pointed at him. She smiled, "Now that's what the passion I wanted to see."

Clasping her palms together resulting in a clap, she sat on the front side of the car. The lights of Izhaan's car splashed against her eyes but she didn't blink staring at Izhaan as she grinned.

"Your spirit to make her yours is just what I wanted to see." After a pause; she added, "But that doesn't make me live peacefully because Shahveer and Sahar live under one roof now. I can't take any chances."

"What more do you need? She is my fiancé. We will get married within three months!" He yelled restlessly.

"Uh-huh... I can't wait so much for that."

They stared at each other as a moment of silence passed between them before she broke it, "Marry her within 1 week, at least nikah. That's a pretty long time I can wait for her to get separated from Shahveer."

"Thank you!" Shahveer walked out of the flower shop with a bouquet of fresh roses. The rain was getting heavier. He ran towards his car while closing the umbrella near it. Opening it, he sat inside.

Staring at the ring inside its box. He sighed nervously.

It's tonight or never.

He drove towards the mansion. Walking inside of the huge house, he went upstairs with tangled emotions running in his heart. Correcting his hair, he went up the stairs and saw Sahar standing on the balcony as rain poured down her body.

"Sahar!" He called. She turned sideways looking at him. He entered the balcony when the water touched his warm self.

They just stared at each other. No one said anything yet their heart spoke soo much through their eyes. Both of them getting wet due to rain, nothing mattered at that particular moment. Just them staring onto the oceans of their love.

Ebony and jet black.

He slowly started walking towards her at a slow pace. Even the bouquet in his hand was wet with water dripping down the petals. Sahar stood still just stared at him, emotionless.

What more could she do? Marry Izhaan to save her own life? Or tell him that she loves him?

He stood in front of her in a mannered distance still looking at her eyes. Even the tears they shed were undiscovered by each other because of the downpour.

An exciting rush of the atmosphere to the unknown lovers paused when he said,

"I love you."
