(Y/n pov)

I saw Cassandra on the bus that morning. I sat next to Pico though. She moved over to the seat next to us and looked confused.

"Hey, y/n what's up!" She smiled. She had a jagged mark across her face from yesterday. Pico made a face.

"The sky!" Pico said laughing at his joke. Cassandra rolled her eyes and pulled me over to sit next to her in the empty seat.

"Whoa, don't try to hurt y/n." Pico said giving her an angry look. Cassandra gave pico a death stare that made him look away. I was practically in Cassandra's lap so I nervously moved over.

"Why'd you do that?" Cassandra frowned and pull me closer to her. I looked at her and she smiled. I felt my face heat up and I quickly looked away. Why was I blushing?

-- Time skip to lunch --

(Y/n pov)

At lunch, I sat with Alucard and Hanzou. Cyclops eventually joined us and sat next to me. Pico and Nene sat at the table next to us. I saw Cassandra walk in and push Cyclops to the side so she could sit next to me.

"I was having a conversation with him-." I said and glared at Cassandra.

"So?" She asked.

"Can you move so I can talk to him?" I said.

"You don't tell me what to do." She smiled and looked at Cyclops. "What we're you talking about anyway?"

"We were talking about yesterday. I and y/n are chill now" Cyclops said.

"Mhm." Cassandra sighed. Alucard was making a spoon float and Hanzou was watching. I looked up at Cassandra and smiled. I just decided to forget about yesterday. It was making me too nervous. I couldn't keep thinking about it. She smiles back a genuine smile. It wasn't forced or just a smirk. She looked happy. Real happy. Her eyes sparkled in a way that made me happy and nervous. She started blushing a bit and looked away. So was I. Why was I blushing!? I was catching feelings for her. That's why.

All seemed to be going well until Alucard said something.

"Oh look at Cassandra and her crush." He laughed. Cassandra jumped into the table and then onto Alucard. He tried using whatever power he had to get her off but he couldn't. Cassandra punched him in the face then was pulled up by Hanzou. I helped Alucard up. He had a bloody face.

"Well thanks, Cassandra!" He cried. He was acting like this was normal.

"I've told you so many times to shut up but, nooooo you don't listen! This is what you get!" She said trying to hit him again but Hanzou pulled her back. Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at her.

"What!? Stop fucking looking at me! Mind your business!" She yelled. They looked away.

"Breath Cassandra." Cyclops said. She looked like she was going to cry. She looked at me helplessly well Hanzou restraint her. Pico came over and grabbed my hand making me jump.

"Cmon, y/n. Before they hurt you too. Pico said pulling me away. I felt so bad.

"No! I'm staying here!" I said getting out of picos grip and running over to Cassandra who looked at me.

"Y/n! Let's go!" Pico said.

"No!" I mumbled. Pico dragged me out of the cafeteria and to our next class as the bell raing.

After school I started walking home when I heard someone following me. Thinking it was pico I slowed down but then Cassandra walked up beside me. We didn't say anything until Cassandra grabbed my hand.

"What are you doing?" I said and looked at our hands.

"I dunno." She said and stopped walking causing me to stop. I looked at her and she shook her head.

"What?" I said.

(Cassandra's pov)

After what happened yesterday I didn't think y/n liked me like I did. I decided I was going to just do this. I put my hand on y/n face causing them to take a small step back.

"W-" they started but before they could finish I quickly kissed them and started walking away.

(Y/n pov)

I stood there in shock. Did- Cassandra really just. I started chasing after her.

"Cassandra! Wait!" I said before Cassandra stopped.

"What?" She said as if nothing happened.

"Did you-" I started but before I could finish Cassandra cut me off.

"Yes."
