The Prince sucks on her neck, the satisfaction of his hunger is nil. Pints of thick blood pour out of her neck and onto his tongue. Which he wastes no time in gulping down. She uses her nails to dig into his back, but with the draining of her blood, they go limp. He gulps down more, trying to get to that sweet spot.
He squeezes her waist, pulling her in closer which shoves his fangs in deeper. He drinks her blood but it tastes bland. Like how everyone else's blood tastes.
It's quite boring.
Her body has gone completely limp in his arms, and he would've liked it but now it's tiring. Everyone cowers before him, allowing him to feed on them without a fight. He wants a fight. He wants someone to fight him to not feed on them. Like they used to do. He missed the good old days when the humans would scream in fear and terror when he showed them his true side.
That was good.
The flow of blood that's coming out of her neck, slows down. He grunts and grips her harder, forcing more blood to come out. Even though she didn't taste good; he was hungry. He bit her harder, forcing more blood to come out and closing his eyes tighter to get more.
His body tries to push him away from her as he can feel her fading in consciousness but his hunger couldn't suffice. He wanted more blood, more food, more. He wanted to please his hunger more than anything.
"Your highness?" The King's voice reaches his ears and he groans. He tears his fangs out of her throat.
"What? I'm busy?" He answers with a twinge of anger and carelessness. He lets go of the girl and she falls to the floor, unconscious.
The King rolls his eyes as he calls the maids to look after the girl. He tries to control his breathing as he speaks to the Prince, "I thought I told you not to feed like that from the humans? It's prohibited. There are blood drives and donors for a reason."
The Prince licks his lips, drinking the last bit of blood. He looked at the King with irritation evident on his face.
"I thought I told you that I don't care." He fired back, walking away, leaving the girl's unconscious body in the care of the maids.
The Vampire Prince walks into his assigned bedroom. This wasn't the bed he slept in, but only for when he's summoned to the Palace. He sits on the bed. Taking a book from the shelf, he skims through the pages but boredom finds him.

Nothing seemed to please him anymore. Whether it was feeding from people, reading books, or even communicating. Everything became so dragging. No one put up a fight anymore, all the books were predictable. Not to mention, the nonfiction ones he'd already lived through. He wanted something new. Something new and exciting.
As he's lost in thoughts of his fantasy, someone opens the door with a creak. He squints his eyes at them, showing them deep hatred.
"Your highness? Sorry to bother you." The King's wife, Flora walks in. She's the King's third marriage, the Prince's mother being his second. Her hands folded in front of her, she looks at the Prince, with her head tilted and a small smile on her lips.
This is for the best, for everyone, the Queen tries to keep her head up but she knows how the Prince will react. In a word—violent.
"What made you decide in that small brain of yours to interrupt me?" He asks her, meaning every little bit of his insolence.
The Queen takes a step back, her hand on her chest. She composes herself and brushes her dress down. She takes a breath and decides to say what she came in here for. He's a child. She tries to reassure herself even though she knows it's not true. He's no child, he's the Vampire Prince, and a dangerous one at that.
"Your attire is in the closet, it's hanged and steamed. Get dressed, we're leaving in an hour." She tells him then she turns around, preparing to leave.
The Prince stands immediately. Who does she think she is?
"What are you talking about? Get ready for what?" He demands an answer.
With his face serious, he drills a hole in the back of her head. There is no way she could walk away from him right now. She may be the Queen but she is every little bit afraid of him as much as everyone else. The only person who can put up with his antics is the King.
The Queen turns around and puts on her 'sweet, unbothered' Queen face. "We're going to the Royal Meeting Room to have a meeting with the De Clare's to discuss your behavior."
The Prince's face contorts into sheer anger and frustration. Did they hide this from me? It's laughable. They're going to discuss my behavior? For what? Because of the scandals that have been popping up on the news? I've been in tons of scandals before, what makes this one so special?

The Vampire Prince decides to not say anything. Instead, he glares at her, giving her the answer he wouldn't say. She takes his anger as an invitation to leave. She turns around for the second time, walking out of his room and closing the door behind her.
With steam coming out of his ears, he goes over to the closet taking out the attire he would wear. It is a formal royal suit. The color scheme is royal blue, white, and gold. Most of the suit has gold on them, the dress pants are blue with gold streaks on the sides. The cuff links are gold, the vest is white and the suit jacket is Royal blue with gold streaks along the sides of it also.
He sighs then he gets dressed in the suit. He steps in front of the mirror to analyze himself. There is not a single thread nor fuzz on his suit. He runs his hand through his black hair, not bothering to style it in any way.
This is a meeting with lawyers, not your coronation, he reminds himself then he leaves.

The meeting seemed to go on for hours. Why was I invited if I wasn't even going to say anything? This is stupid. All they're talking about is how this scandal has gone out of control and how I need to start acting like the Prince.
"—Your highness, in my professional opinion, it would be best to settle down so these rumors can stop. Or avoid being so. . .unapproachable so they can't spread a bad image of you." Mrs. De Clare, a strong-minded woman, speaks to him.
He rolls his eyes and sinks in his seat. He would rather be anywhere other than here. Even drinking horrible, bland-tasting blood.
He lets out a breath before speaking to the insect beneath his feet, "I am who I am. If people are afraid to speak to me then wonderful. Besides, who cares what's spread about my image? That doesn't mean that it's the truth."
"All due respect, your Highness, but your image is very important not for you but the Royal Family as a whole. It's important. You said it yourself that your entire goal is to be King, so act like it." She says with a side of irritation.
Who does she think she is? Does she know who she's speaking to?
He decides to not hold in his anger this time. "Who do you think you're talking to? Do you know the things I could do to you?" He spits at her, fury bubbling inside of him.
Her face remains unchanged, unbothered. Her husband, Mr. De Clare, looks as if he wants to rip the Prince's head off. The Vampire Prince gives him a stern look that says 'what are you gonna do?' Mr. De Clare averts his eyes, looking at the King instead.
"Calm down your highness, whether you like it or not, she's right—"
He cuts off the Queen. "What she was spewing was nonsense!" He shouts and his rough, loud voice echoes. The windows start shaking.
The King rubs his temples in frustration, the Prince angering him. Would decency kill him?
"What she was spewing is correct. You say you want to be King, act like it. Your image does matter. Also, do not say that to our lawyers ever again. They are smart and not incompetent." The King speaks and the Vampire Prince turns his nose up.
The Prince balls his fist and digs his nails into his palm. He turns around and walks away from the meeting. With every agonizing step, he tries to not turn around and flip the table. He keeps walking. He throws the doors open and shuts them back with such force that he hears the windows shatter on the other side.
How dare they?
He storms through the palace and every single person stops to the side and bows to him. As they should. They're nothing but dirt beneath my feet. Even those stupid lawyers. Who is she to tell me what to do? No one tells me what to do. I am the Vampire Prince for heaven's sake. Don't they know that I can kill them in less than two seconds? Privileged disgusting humans.
In his head, his fantasy takes over. He cannot wait for the day he becomes King. When he does, he'll be able to make every last human a slave. If they put up too much of a fight, he'll kill them.
Simple problems need simple solutions.
