The sky is blanketed in thick, grayish clouds. Not a start to greet Alfred back home, but it's bearable. I help him out of the car and hand him the stocking I held the entire car ride. Alfred slowly leaves the car, groaning as he uses my shoulder for help. He gently grabbed the stock from my hand and thanked me after, but I didn't bother to answer. He insisted on walking on his own, but I still managed to help him through the door.
"Sweet Home, sweet home," Alfred repeats, scanning the area until I open the door for him. He slowly limps his way inside, and I shut the door behind me.
"Alfred!" The sound of Daisy's angelic voice catches my attention, in which Alfred's smile grows on his lips. She runs through the hallway with her arms open before wrapping them around him softly. He laughs a little and wraps his right arm around her tiny form as he tightens his grip on the stock.
"I could get used to a welcome hug." He says playfully before releasing his arm around her. Daisy's smile appears bigger than before, showing her dimples.
"I figured you were hungry, so I made lasagna." She said softly, and Alfred looked back at me, arching his eyebrow in amusement.
"A lady who can cook, marriage sounds very suitable right now," Alfred says jokingly, but my eyes widen, although Daisy laughs a little from his comment.
"Well, I miss my office. Please continue what you guys normally do." Alfred says, limping his way through the hallway and into the main room. I look at Daisy, and her smile turns a bit flirtatiously, causing me to chuckle.
"Are you hungry?" She asked, inching closer to me as she wrapped her tiny arms around my waist. It's adorable how she's trying to hold onto me, but I could technically wrap around her slim body with one hand because my arms are longer than hers.
"No." I said, to which she shook her head. " you haven't eaten."
" I know," I said, quickly picking her up and throwing her over my shoulder, tightening my grip around her legs. "I rather skip to the dessert."
Daisy laughs, and I can feel her palms pressing against my back as I walk inside the main room, which causes Alfred to look up from the papers he holds. I could tell he was smiling when he started laughing at us.
"You need to put me down!" She said playfully, but I didn't budge.
"Why?" I asked, continuously keeping her over my shoulder as I walked to the kitchen.
Daisy didn't answer; instead, she laughed at me once more before I slowly put her on the chair. I grab a plate and a big flat spoon, taking a small proportion for her.

"I'm falling in love with you." She said softly, making me instantly stop my movements and trail my eyes to hers. An instant silence filled the gap between us, but I couldn't help myself admiring those words that came out of her mouth.
I gently push the plate towards her, leaving her with a fork until I walk over to the counter and formally grab her face. Her Bambi eyes fixated on mine, and I couldn't help but stare at her facial features.
"You do, huh?" I rasp a little, placing a small kiss on her forehead. She wraps her arms around me and presses her chin against my chest, nodding.
"You sure are a hell of a lot of a woman," I said jokingly, which made her gasp dramatically until she released her grip and gently slapped my chest. I chuckle at her, removing my arms around her.
"Eat," I said demandingly, but she took a small piece from it with her fork and pointed it towards my mouth.
"Taste it." She said with a gentle tone in her voice, but I smirked as I bobbed my head further down to grab it with my mouth.
"You want me to taste you?" I said with my raspy voice, lowering my tone slightly although I was playing around. But I could tell the heat rose through her cheeks as they turned red, her eyes widening from embarrassment.
I laugh at her reaction and take a small bite, letting the food roll around my mouth to taste the flavor before I swallow it down.
"I mean..." she trails off, taking a piece for herself. "You're not ready for that," Daisy says playfully, which I scoff at her.
Placing my right palm against the counter, leaning a little more towards her to grab her attention again, which I successfully did. Daisy's eyes trail up to mine as I quickly look behind me to make sure Alfred isn't watching us or listening to our conversation.
I look back at her, and my smirk appears once more. "I'm sure you're the one who wouldn't be able to handle me."
She takes a bite and mimics my words, mocking but yet again as a joke. I chuckle at her and place a kiss on her forehead.
She's doing something to me. I can't explain what, but I never enjoyed life as much as I do now. Gotham can be a lot for someone like me. Nothing is enjoyable in Gotham, and I wasn't trying to find the fun part of the city; I cared more about saving people and my father's legacy around this town. But this girl did bring more than comfort.
"Are you a virgin, Mr. Wayne?" She asked me as she squeezed her eyes at me. I narrow my eyebrows and shake my head lightly.

"Why would you assume I'm a virgin?"
"Maybe you're shy to have sex. Who knows?" She grins a little.
"I don't think you want to hear my comment on it." My voice lowers a little more, but not to the extent of sounding like a Wolverine.
"Say it," Daisy says instantly.
I shrug a little as I sit beside her, stretching my fingers through her hair. "I don't share myself around with unwanted feelings for lust," trailing off my sentence as she grabs another piece. "But I fuck, don't tempt me," I said with a severe tone until she started choking a little from her food which caused me to scoff.
"You're out of your mind for saying that," she said, coughing more.
"Well, you asked."
I hear the sound of coughing behind me, which doesn't surprise me that it's Alfred standing there.
"I see you two getting along pretty well," He smiles awkwardly as he limps towards the coffee machine. I couldn't help but notice Daisy's face turning red once more.
"Make sure to use a condom, Bruce. I recommend it." Alfred says jokingly, pouring his cup with coffee.
I chuckle a little as Daisy tries to hide her face.
The moment Alfred takes a sip from his coffee, staring at the glass window, he instantly stops.
"Looks like they need Batman," Alfred mutters. I quickly trail my eyes to him and wherever he is looking;
It's the signal.
Daisy looks back at me with a quick reflection, waiting to see what I will do next.
I take a deep breath and raise myself from the chair, but I instantly feel the grip of Daisy's hand holding onto my wrist.
"Can I see the suit?" She asked, which made Alfred turn around and look at me with a curious expression.
I look at him for a second till I look back down at Daisy. "Are you sure?"
"Yes," Daisy said instantly with no hesitation.
"If it becomes too much, let me know," I said softly. She nods back.
I take the elevator with Daisy down to the garage, which I forgot to tell her about. I start explaining what goes down here and what exactly I use it for, and to my surprise, she is amazed by it.
As the elevator door slid open, I walked my way inside as she followed along. I pick up my backpack, unzipping it before I throw my batsuit on the table and all the stuff I need for it to be complete.
Daisy, on the other hand, is scanning the area. My two motorcycles, two computers in the middle of the table with a bunch of files, the darkness in each shadow, and the bats hiding on the roof. She also notices my father's signature brand on the lineup from the ceiling; Wayne Terminal.
"I assume this is what you call a Batcave?" She asked firmly, but I glanced back at her in confusion.
"A what?"
"A Batcave, right?"
I chuckle a little, shaking my head. "I don't call it a Batcave."
She smiles and nods at me. "That's unfortunate, Mr. Batman."
I laugh at her statement until I grab my shirt's back and throw it off of me, knowing she is watching me at the corner.
Grabbing a paint of black makeup, I smother it around my eyes to keep my identity as unrecognizable as possible. I wasn't sure it was the most excellent idea for her to watch me get dressed, only because it's frightening for her to know I'm Batman, after all.
My eyes trail off to her, and she is covering her eyes, which made me laugh a little.
"Now, what are you doing?" I arch an eyebrow with a smile planted on my lips.
"I want it to be a surprise," Daisy mumbles. "In case it's uncomfortable seeing you with the suit." I completely understand what she meant, so I let her have it.
As I fully got dressed in the batsuit and softly put the mask on, grabbing my gears and the rest of my gadgets - I couldn't help but shrug in nervousness now that she would see me as Batman.
"Alright." I rasp, fixing my gloves.
Daisy slowly removes her hand and opens her eyes, watching me with a cold expression. She folds her arms against her chest, attempting to accept what she is witnessing.
I take in a deep breath, slowly inching closer to her. She's too fragile for this, she got to be, and I don't want to put her in an uncomfortable position. At least not for right now.
"So this is it." She says quietly, scanning my appearance. "You're Batman."
I look at the ground for a second, looking right back up.
"This is me."
It got tranquil, but her eyes wandered around my suit and mask. I shrug a little, only because it wasn't a great idea for her to see me like this.
"I have to go," I said, grabbing onto my keys for the batmobile, but Daisy held onto my hand gently, and I couldn't help but look at her.
"You look handsome in that suit." She said gently, trying to break her own uncomfortable emotions. I shrug a little with a small smile to help her.
Daisy needed time to accept who I am still; it's not easy for her to date someone that everybody fears, especially when it comes to me if she's going to be part of my life.
She slowly reached her hand up to my cheek and caressed it gently. "Now go. You probably got something important to do."
