《Poet In Paris》Chapter Three

Her heart is an ocean

Of wonders and dreams

My heart is plain

I want to quench my emptiness

In the waters of her heart.

Harry goes to the park to observe nature, he adores the flowers and the small leaves on the branches of mighty tall trees it does bring a lot of inspiration to him for his poetry.

Coincidentally enough that is where he is now sat on the side of the fountain small sprinkles of water dotting the back of his button top but he doesn't mind, the feeling is quite soothing. His journal and pencil clasped firmly in his hand, the many rings he owns are clad on nearly each one of his fingers shining spectacularly in the morning sunlight.

The voices of park visitors, filled with laughs and screams of joy.

Harry admires birds, the freedom they have to travel anywhere they dream to. The different species of birds all which are unique and beautiful in their own ways it's all so intriguing to him if he had not become a poet he would love to have studied nature and all the secrets that lay in the depth of it waiting for discovery.

After Harry returned from playing the piano at the restaurant two days ago the thought of the angelic brown haired and caramel eyed girl had never left his mind so much so that he wrote a poem about her, so many ideas ecstatically jumping in his mind he had never felt such inspiration before and he needs to see her again, he needs her for his poetry as she is the perfect muse.

In his dreams he could not vanish the sight of her, the way her angular face is so defined her eyes the flawless shape, the color a deep caramel chocolate he wishes to bathe in it. Her lips so sublime and transcendently glorious.

He wishes to know her name, he knows it'll be just as enticing as she is.

A blue butterfly sat on a pink flower catches Harry's eye, he likes pretty things and everything is pretty in their own way. He watches how it comfortably seats itself on the petals of the ravishing flower, not moving an inch of it. Blinking his eyes he looks up, straight ahead as if all his wishes and dreams have come true is sat the same exquisite girl from two night ago.

Her brown hair tied up magnificently, dressed in a short off the shoulder floral dress her feet clad in some nude strappy heels. She looks like a pure angel under the blazing heat of the summer sun. Harry looks down hoping that she does not catch his eyes, nerves getting the best of him.

Athena is sat on the bench look down at her sketchpad beside her is her bag and cup of coffee on the other side is her box of artistic pencils. Where is a better place to find inspiration than outside in the liberty of nature. A bright smile appearing on her lips when her eyes catch a blue butterfly on a pink flower, the perfect drawing idea she rushes to grab her pencil and starts to sketch with complete excitement.

This morning she had spent with her mother walking around the fashion studio and seeing how everything works, each design piece and she saw her mother in full word mode but as much as she was enjoying each second of it unfortunately it had to be cut short when Acacia had a rather important business to attend to leaving her daughter to explore Paris. Instead of visiting the Eiffel tower or the Louvre Athena settled on drawing peacefully in the park.

Finally building up the courage Harry stands up grabbing his journal and pencil, his brown leather bag placed on his shoulder he puts his stuff in quickly and smoothens out his shirt before taking a deep breath in and sorting out his curly hair. Walking towards her, the closer he gets the more seraphic she starts to appear and the more nervous he becomes.

He hasn't willingly approached and had a conversation with a girl since forever ago.

Only a few steps away from her he looks her up and down, a smile appearing on his lips without his knowing. Her head is down, pencil tightly gripping in her hand as she lightly draws faint lines on the sketchpad paper shading in corners.

Beautiful and Talented he thinks in his mind.

Almost silently he takes a seat beside her on the bench the bag and cup of coffee blocking him from entirely seating himself right next to her but he is fine with the distance they are at now, it is less nerve-racking for him. Building up the strength and shooing away his nervousness he speaks up,

"You can tell me your name now." Harry speaks up causing Athena to jump lightly from the surprise of a voice, with her hand on her chest she locks eyes with Harry.

Mouth slightly agape, her mind spirals into a frenzy at the sight of him. He looks so ethereal sat beside her in his button up shirt and flared pants, his brown leather bag placed beside him and his curly luscious looking hair. Her fingers start to tingle with the strong want of running her fingers through his hair and to play with the curls, a fantasy.

"Athena." She answers with a smile.

"What?" Harry blinks his eyes fast snapping out of his wondrous gaze over her celestial being.

"My names Athena." She responds with a giggle closing her sketchpad and placing her pencil back in the box of supplies.

"I knew it." Harry whispers.

"Knew what?" She inquires with confusion turning back to look at Harry. He looks at her with widened eyes and cheeks turning noticeably pink, looking down at the warmed ground trying to hide his shyness from her.

Athena warms in happiness at his ambrosial behavior, the sudden urge to kiss his cheek builds up inside of her as her eyes sight themselves upon his pinkish cheeks.

"This is the part where you reciprocate and tell me your name." Athena whispers gently, moving her bag and coffee out of the way she seats herself much more closer to Harry. He looks up at her with his emerald eyes glistening magically in the sunlight, he looks so beautiful in the summer time she wonders how he would look in winter- just as captivating.

"My names Harry." He shyly says. Athena notices this behavior he seems much more bashful today and she finds it rather endearing, how his cheeks heat up and turn a color of pink how he locks eyes with her for a minute and then searches all around avoiding eye contact, she wants to hug him but finds it quite eccentric to do such a thing out of nowhere.

Maybe not as eccentric as kissing his cheek out of nowhere but the thought of that makes her want to scold herself, why did I do such a thing? she angrily questions herself unaware that Harry actually liked it.

"Yeah you look like a Harry." She teases bumping her shoulder with his, he looks at her with a smile. The first time she sees his dimples and she is mesmerized by it, completely captivated. He sits there beside her with such an angelic smile, how is it that he hasn't been recognized and adored he is something beyond us someone entrancing.

"Oh, so this is how you perceive Harry's to look like?" He jokes with a chuckle resulting in Athena's heart to flutter from the sound, so harmonious.

"Well I meant handsome and talented so yes I do." She answers with a smile. Harry bites his lip stopping himself from breaking out into a full-on smile.

"Go on you want to smile, smile." She urges Harry on a huge smile of her own. Harry's smile breaks out with show-stopping dimples. Athena laughs out and bumps her body against his wanting to be close to him.

Athena has never felt such an attraction and need to want to be close to a person before meeting Harry.

Last night in her dreams all she dreamt of was him playing the piano and then majestically pulling her in for a dance, herself dressed in a long expensive and elegant ball gown Harry looking kingly dashing as he hold her closer to him.

"Thank you." Harry whispers.

The idea of showing Athena his favorite music store enters his mind and he praises himself for thinking of it excitement getting the best of him as he turns around and grabs her hand just as quickly as he grabbed it he lets it go and hastily calms himself down.

"If you have some free time now I would like to show you something, will you let me Athena?" Harry tests the way her name sounds on his lips and he loves it, he adores it and from now on that is all he wishes to say. Her name over and over again. With a rapidly beating heart he awaits her answer.

Athena is hypnotized by the way her name sounds on his lips, the deepness of his voice makes her name sound more exciting, she wants nothing more than him repeating her name over and over again.

"Yes I would love to see something Harry." He smiles in happiness and now gently offers his hand to her which she blissfully captures and intertwines letting Harry lead them in the direction of the something.

The vintage room with it's dark oak wooden walls and aesthetic mood makes Athena feel at tranquility.

He has brought her to an instrument store, the walls neatly lined with guitars a huge drum set perfectly placed at the back of the store, percussion instruments are faultlessly lined on the far of wall with many more other instruments gently placed to captivate a customers attention.

Athena smiles as she catches Harry's sparkled eyes wandering over each instrument with such excitement, he is so pretty.

"Harry is that you?" A lowered gruff voices breaks Athena from admiring the heaven that is beside her looking to the side her eyes land on an old man his hair nearly all grey and dressed in a comfortable clothing choice of jeans and a shirt.

"Yes is it Mr. Dowers do you mind if I-?" Harry smiles in response nodding his head slightly to the side.

"Oh yes son of you go." Mr. Dowers answers with happiness and Harry entangles their hands together leading Athena further into the store past the drum kit all the way to the brown vintage piano, her heart racing with exhilaration.

Harry lets go of their hands and seats himself on the long bench shuffling towards the end looking back up at Athena waiting for her to take a seat beside him she smiles and breathes out before seating herself closely next to him, their arms touching sending a shock of electricity through both of them.

"You said you have wanted to learn how to play." He whispers as he pulls up the case of the piano revealing the keys he presses some down creating a gentle melody which serenades the opulent girl sat beside him intrigued and enthusiastic. "And you never got the chance to." He carries on playing a sweet harmony as Athena looks at him taking in all his beauty "So if you want I can teach you."

Athena jumps in her seat clapping her hands and then wrapping her arms around Harry cuddling herself into a hug, she smiles against his chest. He freezes for a moments time and then shakily wraps his arms around her pulling her closer into him. She can feel his heartbeat quicken and then slow down slightly when she starts to rub soothing circles at the bottom of his back. Pulling back she smiles at him.

"Thank you so much, honestly that would be so amazing Harry." Athena giggles.

"Then lets get to it." He continues to play a melody letting the girl beside him listen for a while.

Coming to a stop she opens her eyes and looks to him, he shuffles getting up leaving a confused Athena watching with furrowed eyebrows.

"Do you mind moving forward a little? I can sit behind you it is easier that way." He shyly inquires, Athena smiles with a nod and shuffles forward

Harry seats himself behind her his chest to her back he leans forward and reaches his arms to press the chords. Athena pushes herself back a little more to get a tiny bit closer to him.

"We'll start of with something easy, the first song I learned to play on the piano was can't help falling in love." He starts to play the chords creating the exact melody of the song, Athena leans back her head resting on his shoulder. Harry tenses slightly but then eases back and smiles at her action.

"How about I just listen to you play and you can teach me next time?" Athena sneakily suggests causing Harry to chuckle.

"Mhm sounds like a good idea but let me teach you a few chords." He nudges Athena lightly to sit up and she huffs in mock-irritation seating herself up. After much trying Harry finally teaches Athena the chord names as she pays much attention he leans forward and grabs her right hand pressing it down on the keyboard.

"Press D and then A and go back to D." He orders which Athena complies and presses giggling when she hears the sound. Her giggles sound much more melodic than any melody could ever.

"I did it, I'm getting better at this." Athena chuckles causing Harry to reciprocate with a laugh, his chest vibrating against Athena's back causing her to laugh louder.

Grabbing her left hand he places it on the keyboard Athena goes to remove her right hand but he grabs it gently and places it back lightly atop the notes "Keep it there." His lips brush against the top of the skin of her ear as he leans in closer resulting in shivers spreading quickly through her.

"You remember D major don't you?" Harry inquires Athena nods her head ecstatically "Play it." She plays the note and he praises her with a high-five.

"Then it's D again and F sharp." He informs he places his hand above hers guiding her towards the notes, she snuggles closer to him as he carries on playing with her. He looks down at her admiring her beauty.

Playing the chords and guiding her blindly as he keeps his eyes on her, so mesmerized in complete serenity.

"I like this." She whispers.

"Me too." He responds.

Authors Note: Heyyyyyy I really love all the support thank you so much. I am writing in the authors POV because it is way easier for me to write that way than from the character's POV plus it is more fun for me that way.

Lots Of Love
