He stared at me while the bagel in my hand is getting crushed.
"When was the last time she had sex?" He said while getting his pen ready.
"Ughhhh, three days ago." I said rubbing my neck.
He stared at me with an eyebrow raised and with a dumb look. "D-do you even know how a baby is made?"
Now it's my time to look at him dumb. "No shît, by a dîck and-"
"I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about how long does it take a women to make a child."
I brought my eyebrows together and tilt my head. "Isn't it like a day or so?"
He closed his eyes and sighed. He pinched the bridge of his nose and breathe in. "No sir. It can take women a week or more. She can't make a baby a day later. She hasn't even shown signs of being pregnant." He breathe out and looked at me in the eye.
I blinked a couple of times, "so she's not pregnant?"
"Sir! I don't know yet. Maybe, but I can't classify that yet. So yes, there might be a chance that she is pregnant."
"Then why was she bleeding so much?"
"Because she got sho-"
"No! Before that."
He brought his eyebrows together and tilt his head. "Ughhhhhhh, she started to bleed through her...Umm, her pûssy and she held her stomach while her face showed pain. And it was a lot of blood."
His eyes grew wide, "what caused her to bleed?" His voice came fast.
"Ugh, I think she got kicked in the stomach hard and she flew to the ground."
He dropped the clipboard and ran away. I blinked and stared at his back while he pulled one of the nurses arm, dragging her towards the surgery door.
"Huh." I walked backwards then towards a nurse that was was walking and writing down something on her clipboard.
"Excuse me miss." She looked up and I gave her a smile. "Can you help me out with my eye, it's kinda bothering me." She looked at it and gasp.
"Is it bleeding!?" She said while grabbing my hand and dragging me towards a room.
"Is it. Didn't noticed."

She opened the door and ushered me sit on the bed. "I'll be right back. Don't touch it." She says right before she exits the room.
"Will do." I laid down and crossed my hands under my head and closed my eyes. It feels good to relax for awhile. It actually feels good to not have them alive anymore.
About fûckin time.
There was a knock on the door and in came the nurse. I sat back up and leaned against my hands that were behind me.
She placed the stuff on the counter and she got hand sanitizer, rubbing her hands together. Then placed on gloves. "Want to tell me how you got it that bad?"
I smiled but she didn't see. "Want to tell me your name first then I'll tell you." She turned to me and smiled.
"Sorry buddy, engaged." She wiggled her left hand and I see a big nugget on her ring finger through the glove.
"Woah, woah. Hold up- I was just asking for a name. I wasn't trying to hit on you." I said while putting my hands up in surrender.
She chuckled while walking towards me with some wipes. "Low key you were." She smiled. I smiled right back.
"You caught me." I chuckled.
"Denise." She said.
"Landon Xyne."
"Xyne? What a strange last name."
"I like it. It's unique." I said while I sat up taller.
She smiled and got closer to me and held up her hand with the wipe. "Okay not going to baby you, so this is going to hurt like a bîtch."
"I know. I done this so may times."
She placed the wipe down and started to clean my eyebrow and my some what my swollen eye. "So now are you going to tell me how you got this massive cut and a huge eye."
"Would you believe me if I told you I fought a gangster." She looked at me with a dumb look and she shook her head.
"I highly doubt that. But yet again the way you are dressed I'll some what change my mind." She smiled.
I'm starting to like that smile on her face. Her shiny brown hair was in high ponytail while she wore all blue scrubs. Her eyes were vibrate green and she had some freckles on her nose going onto her cheeks.

"I got hit in the eye with the end of a gun barrel and it cut through my eyebrow." I said staring at her eyes.
"You what!" She pushed in my eye and I hissed in pain while I brought my hand up to cover up my eye from the stinging. "Oh my god! I'm sorry!"
I chuckled,"it's fine. I've been through worst. Trust me on that."
"Are you serious though. On the gun part??!"
"Yes, a hundred percent."
"Okay now I change my mind on that gangster fighting thing."
"Don't worry, they always change their minds when I say the full story."
"Now I know why."
She walked back towards the counter and brought back a needle and thread. "I have to close your eyebrow up because of how deep the wound is. Can you handle?" She said while bringing the chair and rolling it towards me.
"I'm no pûssy Denise." I gave her a friendly glare.
"Just checking." She took the needle out of the packet and that's when my heart started to pound against my chest.
Fûckin hate needles.
My fist clenched at my sides and she starts to put the thread in the needle head. I took a deep breath in and that's when she held the needle up close to my face. "Be very still." I nodded and held my breath till I felt the needle pierce through my brow. I flinched but breathe out. "Not a fan of needles huh."
"Not really." I smiled but I couldn't really calm down my nerves. I closed my eyes and I can feel the needle coming in and out. I wasn't bother by the pain but just the thought of the needle coming in and out freaked me out.
"Then how'd you get tattoos, if you're no fans of needles?" I open my eyes and see her up close staring at my eyebrow.
"My friend had to strap me down but I ended up passing out."
"Wow, what a brave man." She chuckled.
"I know right." She stuck out her tongue contracting while she pulled one last time and she took out a pair of scissors and cut the thread off. She knotted it and stepped back. "All done. Now for the eye, it's not that bad. Let me just check if they hit your iris."
She walked towards the counter and got a little flash light and walked towards me. She placed her hand on my cheek then she turned on the flash light. "It might tear up so it's okay to cry." She chuckled. "I won't tell." She whispered.
"Sure you won't." I closed my eyes and her finger glided to my swollen eye and she slowly open it. The flash light beamed through and I wanted to close it but she held my eyelid open.
"Look to the left." I did. "Look to the right." Did. "Look up." Did. "Now look down." Did.
She clicked it off and walked back. I closed my eyes and she was right about it tearing up. "Fûck." I said trying to be light at wiping it dry.
"Okay, they didn't hit anything but it's just going to be bruised for awhile. I'll give you pain killers if it ever throbs, but anything else you should be fine. And for your eyebrow, in two weeks it should be healed and you can take out the stitches."
I smiled, "thanks."
"No problem. It's my job." She said while taking off her gloves and disposing it in the garbage.
"Well it was fun Landon Xyen, but I have to go see my patient." She came up to me and placed a bottle of pain killers in my hand.
I jumped off the bed and looked down at her. "Good luck, and thanks again."
"You're welcome. Bye."
"Bye." She walks out and I follow but we go different ways.
Wow, that sounds cliche af.
I walked down but stopped.
My bagel.
It was on the ground crumpled up where I told Denise about my eye.
"Fûckin bull shît man!" I kicked at the bagel and a hand clamped on my shoulder.
I turned around see Jaxon. His face is filled with worry.
"It's Jordan. Something's wrong."
