《His Possession》THREE

"Wow. Didn't know a girl would be brave to do that."
I turned around and see Landon there leaning on a wall with cigarette in his mouth. He looks so relaxed. He will inhale and let the smoke stay in his body for awhile then exhale it through his nose.
"You saw that?" I said while stepping on one of the guys hand and making him groan louder.
"Of course. I was the cheerleader." He said while adding a smirk at the end and taking another drag.
Then sudden angered filled me. "You saw...and you didn't bother to help!?" I said while walking up to him.
He looked down at me then blew the smoke in my face. I waved the smoke off and glared at him while he squished his cigarette on the floor.
"Yeah. Why?" He said while walking away. I stared at his back while he stepped over the guys. I glared at his retreating back and ran up to him.
We are walking side by side. "Why didn't you fûckin help me then!"
"Watch your mouth baby."
"Don't call me that."
"What ever you say sweet cheeks."
"Ugh! Why didn't you help!"
"You got them didn't you? And I wanted to see what you would do in that situation...and look what happen. You made it out alive."
I opened my mouth and closed it because I didn't have anything to say and he just winked at me and started to walk in a alley.
"Where are you going?"
"Nothing you need to know. How about you get home before something really bad happens." He said not even looking back.
"What do you mean?"
"Go home Jordan."
"Landon!"
"What!" He said going even deeper in the dark.

"How did you find me!"
"Jaxon told me to follow you because he saw you at the fight! I have to go Jordan! Go home!" He yelled then I heard a door open and then slam shut.
I was just standing there and staring into the darkness of the alley and of course, little o'me wonder over to the door.
I used my flashlight to find this mystery door.
The door was old and the screws were rusty and paint was coming off and some paint chips were on the ground next to the door. I placed my ear on the door and I could hear faint music coming from it.
Should I?
My hand only inches away from opening it.
Nah. Next time.
Even though my hand was on the handle.
I should go.
My hand turned the handle and I pulled the door open only a crack and I can see it's a club.
Next time.
I closed the door and then I heard sirens.
Cop sirens.
I backed away from the door just in time people came running out. Some were screaming, some were pushing, falling, and punching to get out of the club. I back all the way to the wall, till I heard gun shots. My breathing hitched and everything was going in slow motion. People fell down from the door with bullet holes in their head, back, legs, arms, everything.
Then I saw aleast 5 guys with guns in their hands. That's when I ran. I ran as fast as my feet can carry me. My backpack was hitting my back and the weight of my books was holding me down. I followed the mob that was going in the direction of my apartment.
Then I heard gun shots again. I heard people from behind drop to the ground.

Dead.
They have to be dead.
Right?
I didn't bother to turn around. I ran. I ran till I was struggling to open my door. When I finally got the keys in the hole with shaking hands I quickly unlock the door and pushed the door open.
I quickly shut the door and locked it while sliding down the door trying to control my breathing.
Now I know why Landon told me to go home.
I checked the time at it was midnight.
Wow an hour since my shift ended.
Shut up Jordan! You're safe now!
I got up and walked to my room with shaky legs and dropped my bag next to my bed. I ran and through my hair and took deep breaths in and walked towards my bathroom. I turned on the water till it was warm and quickly clogged the drain and waited till the tub was filled. I poured some bath soap, and quickly stripped.
I grabbed my speaker and walked to the kitchen naked and grabbed some leftover pizza and heated it up and walked back to the bathroom.
I connected my speaker and played some random music and stepped in.
My body relaxed when the warm water met my skin. I closed my eyes and brought the pizza to my mouth.
I should call the cops.
Bite.
But I heard sirens,so someone called the cops.
Another bite.
Yeah...but I was a witness to it.
And I finished my pizza and just tossed the paper plate on the ground and stared at my legs.
The music was playing soft in the background and I was thinking all about what just happen.
"HOLY SHIT! I could've died today!" I said while sitting up in the tub. My whole body tensed up at the thought of me being killed. My heart rate picked up and my breathing started to turn to pants.
"Yeah, but now I can say I dodge death. Yup. I'm going to tell Greyson."
I jumped out of the tub, draining it as I got out. I turned off my music and walked out with a towel on. I unlocked my phone and was about to facetime Greyson, but my doorbell rang.
Who's at my door at 1 in the morning?
Gosh, I sound like those fûckin dumb people from scary movies asking who's there, and we all know it's the murder.
I know I'm not that stupid so I put on one of my long t-shirt and walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a knife. The person rang the doorbell twice now so now I'm looking at the pep hole.
Fucker.
They covered the hole with their finger so I had to open. I know I don't have too...but I have a knife.
I'ma stab a bitch if they come near me.
I had the chain lock on so it will stop half way. I open the door.
"Jordan...why were you there? Why were you at the shoot out?"
