《In Lockdown With Them》Chapter 44: Coniglietta

I placed my hand over my mouth as I yawned, walking out of my room. The apartment was extra quiet and I'm guessing the boys were still asleep. I made my way to the bathroom, did my business, washed my hands and face, brushed my teeth, and walked out, heading towards the kitchen.

I stood in the middle of the kitchen and stared at nothing. I was thinking about what to have for breakfast when a thought crossed my mind, I should make the boys breakfast too since they always do that for me.

I pulled out the ingredients for waffles and started making the batter over one of the counters while playing some music on a low volume in the background.

I hummed along with the song and whisked the thick batter, using all the strength that I have in my noodle arms. Is the batter supposed to be this thick because what the hell?

I almost screamed from startlement when I felt two warm arms snake around my waist and I jumped in my place, shrieking.

I heard a deep chuckle right over my ear and smelled the familiar scent of minty toothpaste fan over my neck. I dropped the whisk over the counter and quickly turned around, my heart was still racing from the startle.

I looked up at Blake's cute sleepy face, which held an enormous smile, and hit his bare chest repeatedly while shooting a deadly glare at him. "You, piece, of-"

"Sexiness- Good morning, Muffin." Blake held my wrists with his hands and chuckled again, his fresh breath fanning over my face.

I narrowed my eyes at him and made a move to punch him again but his hold on my wrists stopped me, so I simply kicked his shins and he laughed, totally unaffected. He let my wrists go and smiled at me- why did he have to look so handsome?

His brown bed hair was messy and it made him look so attractive, not to mention that he was shirtless. I was trying my best not to stare at his chest.

I noticed Blake take a peek at the counter behind me from over my head- yes, he was that much taller than me- and he hummed. Why did that simple sound make goosebumps rise all over my body? "What are we making, Muffin?"

"Waffles," I answered.

"Oooh, I love waffles..." Blake said before looking down at me, "too bad we don't have a waffle maker."

My eyes widened and I groaned, "Seriously?"

Blake laughed, "Wait, lemme check." he ruffled my hair and turned around, crouching down in front of one of the lower cabinets. His muscles flexed as he rummaged through it and I had to force my eyes to stop gazing there before my ovaries take full control and I end up embarrassing myself.

I'm really hormonal today and I'm guessing it's because I'm PMSing... Shark week starts next week.

I'm so not ready for that.

"Nope," Blake's voice brought me back to reality, "no waffle maker."

I groaned and he stood up, "It's okay, we can turn it into pancake batter if you want, it's pretty easy."

I turned around and looked down at the bowl, frowning; I was really craving waffles...

Blake lowered his head and tilted it beside me so he could see my face. "What's wrong?" He softly asked when he saw my sad face.

"I wanted waffles," I answered before my mood switched up and I shrugged, "Meh whatever... you sure you know how to turn it into pancake batter?"

Blake nodded and put his hands over my shoulders, gently moving me to the side.

More of his hair fell over his eyebrows and the tips of his eyes as he started adding a few spoons and cups of different ingredients to the batter.

He looked up at the locks that were covering the top of his eyes and shook his head in an attempt to move them away. He sighed adorably in frustration when it landed over his eyes again and he turned to me.

His hands were dirty because of the flour that somehow managed to cover his fingers. He flashed me a smile where his bottom lip pouted, "Will you be a darling and move it away, bunny?"

I froze in my spot. What?

"What?"

"The lock, it's pissing the shit out of me." He said in annoyance before adding a small soft "please,"

My eyes traveled up to his soft brown hair and I nodded my head. His hair had grown almost an inch longer from the last time I touched it when I was braiding it and it looked cute and hot at the same time.

I grinned when an idea crossed my mind. "Sure,"

I turned around to one of the stools behind us and dragged it towards us. Blake was way taller than me and there was no way I could reach his hair and do what I'm planning on doing without a stool.

I stood over the stool carefully and looked down at his locks, "I could've just crouched down, you know." Blake chuckled.

I place my hand over his forehead, underneath the locks, and gathered them all together along with some of the ones in the back of his head. "Thanks M- wait what are you doing?"

I smiled as I tugged my rubber band off of my wrist and tied his soft hair into a tiny baby ponytail-like thingy. You couldn't really call it a ponytail since his hair was way too short for that, it was just this lock of hair that was sticking up cutely over his head.

I kept smiling as I hopped off of the stool and dragged it back to its place. I turned around and looked at Blake, who was now facing me, "Did u just tie my hair?"

I smiled at him brightly and nodded my head. He made a certain look before shaking his head up and down and left to right to see if I actually did tie his hair up. His eyebrows shot up and he almost giggled as he kept shaking his head like a hyper puppy.

"Holy shit," He whispered in fascination and amazement. He rushed to the stove and looked down at its shiny black surface, smiling like a crackhead when he saw his reflection, "I look like Lizzie."

I laughed and he turned around smiling, my heart melted at how cute he looked. He gave the stove one last look before walking back to the counter and finishing making the batter.

He washed his hands and I didn't even have to say a word before he told me to sit down on a stool so he could handle the stove and make the pancakes over it, knowing I'd instantly start to freak out if I went near it or even thought about being that close to the fire.

I kept smiling as I eyed his hair while he peacefully made the pancakes and hummed to the song that was playing in the background. "How many should I make?" He turned his head to me after flipping the third pancake.

I eyed the pancakes for a second and thought about the answer. They looked so delicious. But they were fattening, especially with maple syrup, "One for me and then make like two or three for Cole and however much you'd like for you, I guess." I answered.

Blake looked at me, an emotion flashing in his eyes for less than a split second before he looked back down at the pan and nodded his head.

I sat up from my place and went to pull out the plates and forks the same second we heard Cole's groggy voice, "What the fu- holy shit," I turned around and saw him staring sleepily at Blake's hair. He rubbed his eyes and squinted them, "You look like Lizzie,"

Blake chuckled, "That's exactly what I said!"

Cole kept eyeing his hair as he tilted his head to the side, "How the fuc- I want that,"

Blake gestured towards me, "Muffin did it,"

Cole turned to face me, he looked extremely tired but he still managed to give me a gigantic smile when we made eye contact, "'Morning, Ollie." He still sounded drained. What time did he go to sleep last night?

I smiled back at him as I pulled the plates, "Morning Cole,"

Cole walked over to the stove and stood next to Blake, looking down at the stove then looking back up at him, the two tall idiots looked like a pair of shirtless giants in the homey kitchen. "Pancakes?" Cole asked, perking up.

"Pancakes," Blake nodded and Cole got excited.

"Fuck yeah!" He walked over to the cabinets and automatically started helping me pull everything out.

I glanced at Cole when he made a move to pull the maple syrup out but suddenly paused, an almost pained or hurt look flashed in his face for less than a millisecond before he looked down then back up and grabbed the syrup, his face holding a normal expression.

My face formed into a confused expression and I frowned, "You alright?" I asked when he was standing beside me.

He swiveled his head in my direction and furrowed his eyebrows, clearly confused. He looked like he had no clue what I was talking about. "Hmm?"

"Are you okay?"

Cole flashed me a genuine smile and nodded his head vigorously, though I noticed that his smile faltered for a second while he was nodding his head and he stopped moving it energetically, slowing his movements down and carefully nodding his head instead of shaking it quickly.

He threw his arm over my shoulder, squeezed me into a side hug, and let me go, ruffling my hair. He looked suddenly extra happy for some reason.

"Pancakes are ready," Blake announced before turning the stove off and carrying the plate of the delicious-looking pancakes to the table. Cole and I sat down while Blake placed the pancakes on our plate.

I frowned when I saw him place three pancakes on each plate, including mine. I remember only asking him for one. I looked up at him and saw him setting plates of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries in front of us all. "Blake?"

He looked up at me, his hair was still tied up. "Yeah?"

"You gave me three..." I gestured towards my plate, I noticed Cole was in his own world as he poured loads of maple syrup over his pancakes and added a bunch of berries on top.

"I did, and you," He booped my nose, "are going to eat them all." He sat down and started digging into his food.

"But I only asked for one..." I said.

Blake nodded his head, "And I multiplied that by three, what a pleasant surprise!"

I narrowed my eyes at him and he rose a brow, "What?" I didn't answer him and he sighed, "Look, it's no big deal. If you feel like you're too full and can't finish them all, our dear Charcoal would be more than happy to gobble the rest of the plate for you, isn't that right, Cole?"

Cole's head shot up at the mention of his name. He looked at us with a mouth that was stuffed with pancake and he nodded his head happily at me. I smiled at him because he looked so sweet and he swallowed, smiling back.

"See? Now eat up, Coniglietta." (Pronounced: Co-nee-lietta)

My eyes widened at the new name and I looked up at him. He kept his eyes locked with mine as he brought the forkful of pancakes to his plump lips and took a bite, licking some of the syrup that had landed on the tip of his lips.

Ovaries: Oh my fucking...

"What the hell is a Coniglietta?" I asked.

Cole muttered something under his breath from the other side of the table and attempted to hide a grin as he took another forkful of pancakes.

Due to my slightly poor Italian, I just found out that I have been calling you a cute little leveret instead of Conigla or Coniglietta, which means bunny in Italian, and well, I don't think I'm gonna stop calling you a leveret since the animal's cute as hell, just like you- but I found a new nickname and I'll be calling you both now.)

Cole's head shot up and he stared at Blake with wide eyes, same as me. Holy shit was that attractive...

"What the fuck man?" Cole said, his mouth still a bit full.

"What?" Blake asked, using a knife to cut a piece of the pancake.

"Picked up a few words, hmm? You little bitch. Thought you were making shit up during your Italiano phase. Fucker."

"And who said I'm not making shit up now?" Blake just grinned and swiveled his head in my direction. I quickly looked down at my pancakes with heated cheeks and played with my fork. Suddenly, I felt like I couldn't handle making eye contact with him.

The tension was just way too thick.

Plus, my hormones were all over the place.

I heard Blake's deep chuckle from the other side of the table, in front of me, and I felt my cheeks heat up even more. A few seconds passed and I could still feel Blake's eyes on me. I still hadn't taken my first bite of the pancakes.

I'm guessing he was simply looking at me to make sure I was gonna eat because once I cut a small piece and brought the fork to my mouth, I felt his eyes leave me and he went back to eating.

"You okay?" I heard Blake whisper to Cole from the other side.

We were all sitting in Cole's room, on his bed, playing video games on his TV when we heard Cole groan.

I turned my head to see Cole's face. He looked fine as he nodded his head and watched Blake and I play. He was sitting in the middle, in between us.

I saw him slip under the covers smoothly and rest his head over a pillow, still watching us. His blond hair was sprawled over the pillow and his ocean blue eyes roamed over the screen as he squinted them and pursed his lips.

Blake eyed him for a second before we went back to playing, with Cole silently watching us. We kept going, laughing every few seconds or arguing after someone's death while Cole stayed silent until we both grew bored.

We turned the PlayStation off and turned to look at Cole. He had fallen asleep and was snuggled under the sheets, a few locks of hair were covering his forehead. His mouth was slightly open and light snores similar to the sound of a kitten's purrs were leaving his mouth.

I smiled at his sleeping figure, I'm not surprised he drifted off since he looked exhausted the entire time today. I looked up at Blake and saw that his soft eyes were already set on me. "Come on," He whispered, standing up.

I gave Cole one last glance before getting up and walking out with Blake. I was walking in the hallway with Blake when I felt a pain in my lower stomach and I stopped, groaning.

Blake's head shot towards me and I placed my hand over the wall to support my weight as I crouched down. I winced when the pain hit again and Blake rushed closer to me. He crouched down in front of me and looked at me with a worried expression, "What's wrong?" He whispered, a crease forming on his forehead.

I groaned when the familiar pain hit me harder and I pursed my lips to suppress a yelp. "Olivia, what's going on? Are you alright?"

I didn't reply to him as I quickly made my way to the bathroom and closed the door behind me. It can't be...

I heard Blake's quick footsteps come closer to the door, "Don't come in..." I said as I slowly pulled my pajama pants down.

I looked at my panties and shut my eyes close after seeing the blood. It came early again.

I thought I was just PMSing.

I groaned again and slapped a palm over my mouth when the pain got worse all of a sudden and I almost collapsed to the floor. "Blake..." I whispered in pain.

"Livi? Are you okay? What's wrong? Can I come in?"

"No, no," I let out a small cry of pain when the pain started shooting all through my abdomen. "Can you please get me some Advil?" It's better to take two pills now so I don't suffer like last time.

I think it all clicked in Blake's head because after a moment of silence, I heard his running footsteps retreat.

I cried out in pain and sat down. I need a new pair of panties and a pad... along with pants. The blood was really thick and it was all over my panties, only a bit of it reached my pajama pants though.

I did my business and cleaned everything up weakly before I heard Blake knock on the door. I stood in the middle of the bathroom, literally half-naked, as I eyed the door.

How the hell am I going to fetch the stuff?

The panties...

"Livi?" Blake knocked again. He sounded worried as hell.

Shit.

"Y-yeah?" My voice broke at the end as I collapsed. I clutched my stomach and a tear slipped past my eye. God, please no.

This is so embarrassing.

"Do you need anything? Are you missing anything? Tell me so I can help you and give you the pills early Livi..." I felt like he already knew the answer to his questions and he didn't want me to feel embarrassed asking him.

I thought about it for a second before the pain shot me again and I cried," "Yes- please."

"Can you tell me where I can find the certain things?"

I sucked in a breath before I quickly told him what to get and where to get them, not even taking a second to think about it because I didn't want to suffer through the same pain that hit me last time when I didn't take the pills early.

Blake took less than three minutes to fetch everything and handed them to me. I gave him a weak "Thank you." and quickly changed.

I opened the door when I was all done, I was crouching down because I was barely able to stand up from the pain. I looked at Blake and slowly crouched down even more until my bum was almost touching the floor.

Blake quickly gave me the pills and a glass of water and I swallowed them before setting the cup on the floor, feeling more tears escape my eyes because of the pain.

I let out a sob and Blake was quick to embrace me, "Shh, shh it's alright. Come on, let's get you to the bed," He picked me up like I weighed no more than a bag of chips and took me to his room.

He laid me down on the bed and I immediately curled up into a ball, clutching my stomach. "I'll be right back," Blake whispered softly before leaving the room in a rushed manner.

He came back minutes later with a heating pad, the pack of heating wraps that he and Cole got me before, my favorite cozy purple blanket, a bottle of water, and the huge plastic box that we keep all the sweets and snacks in.

He eyed my tear-streaked face with a sad expression before he gave me a warm smile ad walked over to where I was curled up. "I turned the heating pad on and got you the heat wraps, do you think you can put them on?"

I eyed the wraps and nodded slowly, he handed them to me so I can place them under my shirt and over my lower stomach. I'm glad he turned around because I was way too insecure about my tummy and I probably would die of embarrassment if he saw the not-so-flat area.

I managed to put the heat wraps over my belly and lower back with shaky hands and I shut my eyes close when I instantly started feeling a tad bit better with the heat.

"You done, sweethe- Livi?" Blake asked.

"Y-yes," I still felt like my lower area was being hit by a thousand bullets though.

He turned around and handed me the heating pad before sitting down on the bed in front of me and wrapping the cozy blanket around my shaking body after I placed the heating pad over my lower abdomen as I tried to keep my cries of pain in. I could sense that Blake was still worried over me and wasn't really enjoying watching me die slowly.
