I'm going to kill him. I'm going to kill my own brother. Did the dude hit his head or something? He can't be serious. I don't know what I expected when Luke said he would handle the situation, but him calling Cole Anderson and Blake frickin Evans and asking them to have me live with them was definitely not what I had in mind. I mean did he even bother asking me?

I slumped into the guest room's bed and just lied there, on my stomach, my face buried into the pillow, thinking about all the different objects I would shove up my brother's ass. I think I've decided on using his phone since he's clearly forgotten about its existence and isn't answering any of my goddamned calls so he won't be needing it.

It is currently 4 pm, Cole and Blake are supposed to pick me up in an hour, how the hell do they even know the location?

"Liv?" Huda called my name from behind the door.

"Yes?"

"Can I come in? Are you decent?" she asked before opening the door anyway. "So, what are you gonna do? Aren't they supposed to arrive in an hour?"

"I dwont fwuggin knwow" I answered, my voice muffled by the pillow. I turned my body so I was now laying on my back and staring at the ceiling. "What the hell am I supposed to do? They're the only ones willing to accept me and I'm kind of helpless right now and Luke is STILL NOT FREAKING ANSWERING HIS STUPID PHONE"

I felt the bed dip and Huda's body lay beside me. "Honestly, I think you should move in with them. I mean, if Luke, your extremely protective brother and legal guardian, trusts them enough to make his younger sister live with them, then I think you shouldn't worry about it. I'm pretty sure Luke knows what he's doing, he always does." She shrugged before continuing.

"Listen, just see how the first week goes by, if you feel uncomfortable or just unhappy or anything... you know my family and I would be more than happy to let you stay with us until you find another apartment. Just try it out. Dad needs me to help him with something right now but you have half an hour to decide, I'll be in the garage if you need anything." And with that, she left the room after closing the door behind her.

I thought about what Huda just said. I mean, she kind of has a point; Luke wouldn't just put me in an apartment with two random boys without trusting them. And I'm sure he'd get me out of the apartment the second I tell him I'm getting uncomfortable or something.

I open my phone to check the time and see that it's 4:40 pm.

Screw it.

I get up and make sure everything is packed before changing into comfortable clothes, I'm just going to go with it, I mean it's not like I have any other choice, Huda and her family are leaving for Miami tomorrow and Luke said he didn't want me to stay in a hotel room.

I go downstairs to the kitchen to drink a cup of water and inform Mrs. Martin about what I have decided and say goodbye. After a crapload of hugs and kisses from Mrs. Martin, I head to the garage and tell Huda.

"Okay I think that's Cole's Range Rover, are you sure you packed everything?" Huda asked while looking over the window on top of the kitchen's sink.

"Yep."

"Okay then, let's get your stuff outside," Huda says before picking up one of the boxes and opening the front door. The door to the driver's side of the car opened the minute Huda opened the door.

"HEYYOOOO," Cole yelled, rushing towards us and taking both boxes from our hands, and placing them in the trunk.

"Hey," I said before dragging two suitcases towards him. He gave me a wide smile as he picked the suitcases up like they weighed nothing and placing them in the trunk next to the boxes. "Is that all or do you have any more boxes?" He asked.

Before I could answer Huda came out of the house holding my school bag and a small bag that had my toiletries and makeup in it. "Hey Anderson," she greeted Cole and he replied with another wide smile and a small wave, Huda handed me the box and said, "You almost forgot these in the guest room."

"I knew I'd forget something..." I muttered under my breath. "Thanks." I smiled before hugging her.

Cole ran his hand through his hair "Well if that's all that needs to be put in the trunk I'll leave you girls to your say goodbyes or something, I'll be waiting in the car. Nice seeing you again Huda." He smiled at Huda before closing the trunk and getting into the driver's seat.

"See? He doesn't look like a perv to me. You'll survive."

"I guess." Huda hugged me tightly before saying goodbye and heading back into her house.

I got into the passenger seat of Cole's car and buckled my seatbelt. "Blake will be at the gym 'til 7 so it'll be just the two of us until he comes back," Cole informed me and started the car. "Did you eat anything?"

"Nope," I answered.

"Well, then we'll pick up some food on our way to the apartment. Does Chinese sound good to you?" Cole asked.

My mouth started to water at the mention of Chinese food. "Yes!" I exclaimed, Cole chuckled at that.

"Then Chinese it is." he said and blasted "Paint It, Black" on the speakers. I started singing along with the lyrics under my breath, Cole's eyes widened at that and he turned his head to look at me for a second before looking back at the road.

"You listen to Rolling Stones?" he asked.

I nodded my head.

"Holy shit... I LOVE YOU!" Cole exclaimed. I laughed and just shook my head. "Yo, I'm not even kidding, people these days have crappy music taste- and most of the people who tell you they're interested in the good music don't actually like it, they like the idea of liking it so they go ahead telling people that they like it but you just know that they would be vibing to JB's 'As long as you love me' when they're all alone in their rooms. Though no hate to JB, dude's a Canadian legend, and we love Canadian legends." Cole rambled.

"We do." I laughed.

"Okay, that was the last box right?" Cole asked before closing the apartment door. We just finished moving the suitcases and boxes from the elevator to the apartment.

"Yep."

"Okay then, lemme give you a quick tour, and then I'll show you to your new room." He started walking towards what I'm guessing is the living room. "So uh- this is the living room, obviously." the room had one dark gray couch placed in the middle of the room facing the flat screen that was hung onto the wall, two black recliners were placed on either side of the couch facing each other, and a medium-sized white coffee table placed in between them. The room had a huge glass window exposing a beautiful view that was barely visible right now since it's getting dark outside.

Cole continued showing me around, taking me to the kitchen, storage room, and bathroom. We were walking down the corridor when he stopped in front of a door. "Welcome to your new room, Oliver." He said, opening the door and entering the room.

The room was medium-sized, the walls were painted a light beige color, there was a queen-sized bed pushed up against one of the walls, a small white bedside table, and a lamp placed next to it, and a desk was pushed up against the wall facing the bed. A small rectangular white oak-colored folding door was installed on one of the walls. I furrowed my eyebrows, confused as to why there was a folding door attached to the room's wall.

Cole slid the door open, revealing a tiny empty space and a few shelves installed on the walls inside. The space was slightly bigger than a normal closet but definitely smaller than a walk-in closet, though it looked like it could fit an individual.

"Consider this a closet to keep your clothes in and a changing room at the same time, I don't think you'll ever really need to change in it since your door has a lock, but it might come in handy one day. I'm guessing it was installed in case the room was being shared by siblings or something." Cole explained as he made his way back to the center of the room.

"The room is hella plain, but you can stick some posters or repaint it if you want, I can even help you since Blake and I both painted our rooms by ourselves," Cole suggested.

"Nah, I actually kind of like the color, though I might stick a few posters onto it. Thanks though." I replied, shoving my hands into my pockets.

Cole smiled. "Great. I'll help you move the stuff in here and then I'll leave you to unpack and do whatever. We'll discuss the apartment stuff when Blake arrives." With that he left the room and went to get my stuff, I followed him and we both moved everything into the room.

After I finished unpacking I opened my school bag to pull my notebooks out so I could do my homework but stopped when I heard the apartment door open and close followed by Cole's voice saying something.

I got kind of curious so of course, being the person that I am, I stepped out of my new room and headed towards the living room where the voices were coming from. When I reached the living room I looked up to find Blake Evans in the middle of the room laughing at something Cole said. What the hell is he doing her- shit! I forgot that gorgeous douche bag lived here too! UGHHHH.

I turned my body away from them to leave and head back to my room when Blake's voice stopped me. "Ouch, I gotta admit that hurt cupcake. You think I'm a gorgeous douche bag? Nice to know you're so happy to see me Livi." My eyes widened and I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment. He heard that. Holy frickin frack he heard that.

I slowly turned around to face him. "Extremely happy," I say, wearing the fakest smile on my face. Blake grinned before plopping down on the couch and saying, "I can see that." I rolled my eyes at him and turned my back to them to leave but I was stopped once again but by Cole this time.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"My room, where else would I be going?"

"Why?" I turned around and looked at him, "Homework." I simply answered.

"Why would you do that now?" Cole furrowed his eyebrows.

"Because it's already 7 pm and I still haven't opened a single page and I don't really feel like getting my ass kicked in the first week of school." I shrugged.

"We don't have school tomorrow Cupcake. They cancelled it for some reason. We basically have a three-day weekend." Blake informed me.

"Oh," I'm not sure how I feel about this honestly, I mean yay no school, but that just means I don't have an excuse to go back to the room or avoid them. Shouldn't there be a party right now to celebrate the long weekend? "Did no one throw a party or something?" I ask.

"You really don't want to see me, huh? That kinda hurt right here, cupcake, not gonna lie. ?" Blake placed his hand over his heart. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Nah, no one really expected the cancellation so no one thought of throwing a party," Cole answered sitting on one of the recliners and throwing his legs over one of the recliner's arms. "I'm boredddd." he whined drawing the D and throwing his head back.

"The fuck am I supposed to do about that? Go bake a cake or some shit," Blake said leaning his head against the couch. A few damp locks of hair escaped from their place and fell on his forehead, making him look like a sexy model posing for a magazine page without him even knowing. He must have taken a shower after his workout at the gym, that's why his hair seems kind of wet.

"We don't have any flour~" Cole whined, snapping me out of continuing to check Blake out. What were they talking about again?

"Why would you need flour?" I asked, confused.

Cole looked at me in horror. "Cake? Flour? Wheat? What the hell do you usually use? Corn starch?"

"Ohh. Cake. No I do- wait, you bake?" I can't say I'm not surprised, not every male would turn to baking when they're bored instead of gaming or doing normal... boy stuff? Not to be sexist, guys can cook and all, it's just that I've never met someone who would actually do it for fun. I mean Luke and I used to take turns in cooking and he would always cook the best meals, but I don't think he did that to pass the time.

"HELL YEAH, I DO! You know what? Thanks, Blake, I have a sudden urge to make cupcakes. Fuck, I'm excited now! Imma head to the store real quick to get some stuff. You guys coming with?" Cole asked enthusiastically, getting up from the recliner and putting his shoes on.

"Nope, I'm supposed to be somewhere in..." Blake checked the time on his phone before saying, "...twenty minutes. Though I wrote the groceries needed on my list and stuck it next to yours on the fridge, don't forget to get them."

Cole rolled his eyes. "You mean you're supposed to be committing nastification with Britney Tailors in twenty minutes." I mentally gagged.

Blake didn't answer, instead, he just stood up smirking, patted Cole's back, and said "Make sure they're red velvet flavored." then headed to his room.

Cole huffed a big huff causing some of the locks of hair on his forehead to get blown away, making the gorgeous idiot look adorable. He turned towards me wearing a pout and puppy eyes. "Will you come with me Oliver?" he asked smiling.

"Actually I-"

He cut me off with a "Pleasee" that made it too hard for me to turn down. "Fine," I sighed before grabbing my shoes and putting them on.

"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" Cole started jumping up and down. I swear you wouldn't be able to tell he was a 16-year-old high school student with the way he's acting right now, though I gotta admit that it's adorable.

I followed him to the kitchen where he went to drink water and asked me to grab the grocery lists from the fridge. I took a look at them and realized that Cole's list was completely different from Blake's. You'd think Blake's list belonged to a mother without the energy drinks and protein bars and Cole's list to be a child's list without the baking supplies. Blake's contained stuff like sauces, vegetables, fruits, juice, soup, granola bars...etc. Where Cole's just contained: Candy, baking ingredients, frosting, candy, sprinkles, more candy, more frosting, candy, ice cream, and Candy.

"Did you get the lists?" Cole asked placing his cup in the dishwasher. "Yep," I answered following him to the front door.

Shopping with a sixteen-year-old junior student with the mindset and behavior of a three-year-old... this should be fun.
