《Adopted On Tour》Epilogue

I was sad to see the tour end. It had definitely been the best three and a half months of my life. Dad and AJ got married in Vegas a month ago. I was on the road to battling my depression and anxiety. I was on my way to accepting Autumn's passing and working my way towards moving on.

The bands and crew had provided me with a family far beyond anything I had imagined six months ago. It was hard to believe that, six months ago, it was just Ann and I.

And now I had uncle-figures in Gerard, Ray, Mikey, Frank, Bob, Avery, Pete, Patrick, Andy, Joe, Nick, Ryan, Brendon, Spencer, and Jon. And I had my Dads (AJ insisted on me calling him Pop but there was no way I was doing that.) and I had Jax.

I'm going to miss tour life, the chaos, pranks, random boxer-clad men, and grown men tripping over underwear and getting stuff in their hair. Things I never thought that I'd miss.

"You ready?" Dad #1 (James) asked, opening the door to the back room in the venue.

"Let's go" I grin, following him. I can hear the ending of Famous Last Words playing out, and I join Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco backstage.

"Thank you, Seattle!" Gerard shouts into the mic, and that's our cue. Everyone backstage steps onstage and Pete takes the microphone from Gee.

"This has been an awesome tour everyone! Full of great memories, great shows, and great crowds like you guys!" The crowd roars. "It's been awesome to have someone else along with us! This was our girl Olivia's first tour, and I hope she's had the time of her life!"

Spencer and Brendon push me forward toward Pete and the emo icon wraps and arm around my shoulders.

"Anything you wanna say?" Pete says, holding the mic in front of me.

"Thank you all so much! This has been an awesome ride and I can't wait to continue it on the international leg! You guys have become my family and helped me through so much stuff!" I say this into the microphone, but I'm talking to Pete, the bands, and the crew, forgetting about the crowd.

Cheers come from the audience-packed arena and I blush, hugging Pete and hiding my head into his shoulder.

Brendon steps up to take the mic from Pete. "We'll miss you guys, see ya when we get back to the states!"

And with that, my family and I walk off the stage, getting ready for the next adventure, world tour.

I would miss tour, but thankfully I've got a lot more left.
