I play with my eggs and bacon on my plate, in my thoughts. Nancy sings a tune to a song I don't know, while Damon vaguley stares at me, eating his food. He sits across from me, getting a perfect view of my nervous form. I look up from my plate to see if he's still staring at me.

He sips on his glass of water, those green eyes staring into my soul. Did I mention he's shirtless too? Well, he is. I look back up at his eyes, seeing them raised in humor. I quickly look back down to my food, embarrassed I got caught staring at him.

I can still feel his eyes on me until Nancy comes in, making me look up again. She glares at her son, making him look confused.

"Damon!" He furrows his eyebrows in annoyance and confusion.

"What did I do?" Nancy puts a hand on her hip, making me quietly snicker at them.

"Stop staring at her like she's a snack. Look at her face turning red!" She points a finger at me, making me turn more red. I widen my eyes as Damon boldly looks at me again. He stares a me some more until looking back at Nancy.

"I can't help it though." He mumbles looking down in embarrassment while Nancy sends a wink my way. My heart starts to speed up a lot more. I look back down at my plate, smiling like an idiot.

I can't help it either.

Then all the sudden my mind goes back to what happened to last night, making me frown. Damon raises a brow at me again in questioning.

"What's wrong?" I look up at them both before saying, "Did you guys know?"

Damon averts his eyes from me. It's quiet for a minute before he answers.

"I wanted to tell you. So badly..." He looks down at his fiddling fingers, wearing a pained look. I feel my eyes watering, but I fight it. I think back to last night, how my mother and I fought. How betrayed I had felt.

I should've known.

"But you didn't..", he looks at me with a pleading look, "And I understand that." He relaxes.

"We all wanted to, but your mother thought it would be best to tell you later. She didn't want you hurt sweetie." I let a tear fall, thinking about my mother.

I'm just not ready...

"So... you guys don't mind if I stay here for a few days, do you? Because I'll leave if Adam doesn't agree with th-"

"You're staying." Damon states firmly, leaving no room for argument.

"Mine.."
