"Abby, I know you like my brother so just tell him, already." I said before I continued to chew my bubblegum and she sighed.
"But would if he doesn't like me?" Abby, my best friend asked curiously and I groaned.
"Why wouldn't he?" I asked as I looked at the stores we were passing and she shrugged.
I sighed.
"Abby. You're beautiful. You're smart. You're adorable. You're sweet. Why wouldn't Jace like you?" I asked; annoyed and she sighed.
"I just don't know. I can't see things the way you see it and I am so glad you're my best friend because of that." She smiled.
"See that's why he will like you, sweet cheeks." I smirked while I chewed my bubblegum and she blushed.
"Okay, I will try my best to tell him." She suggested and I giggled.
"Well, if you don't. I will." I smiled and her eyes widen.
"Noooo. I will tell Jace." She said way too quick and I chuckled.
"That's more like it." I said and she sighed.
Then suddenly, my eyes caught Malon, my ex-boyfriend and he was talking to a brunette girl along with his friends. I rolled my eyes as we both walked past them.
"Hey, Chelsea." I heard his voice and I froze as I stopped in my tracks. I turned around and I saw him walking over to me with a smile on his face.
"What do you want Malon?" I asked, a bit angry by his presence.
"My cousin said he wants to talk to you since I told him about us and what happened." He smiled with a shrug and I nodded.
That means he's back in town again?
"Why?" I asked curiously.
"I really don't know and I really don't care." He said as he looked back at his friends and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. Where is he?" I asked and he pointed in the direction we were going.
"You know him so you will probably see him coming. See you around school, my ex-darling." He winked at me as he went back over to his friends and I rolled my eyes.
"What was that all about?" Abby asked me and I shrugged.
"I hate him so much! I can't believe I actually dated him though he's cute." I smiled at that point and she shook her head.
"Let's go." She said and I nodded.

We went to the food court and we both sat down at an empty table. I took out my phone and Abby went to get two menus from a waitress since they all were busy.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked to see Malon's cousin. He had orange brunette hair and hazel eyes. He's kind of british which makes him totally hot!
I smiled as he smiled at me before pulling me up into a hug. He was a bit warm and his cologne smells so charming.
"Chelsea, long time no see. How are you?" He smirked as he hugged me even more and I giggled.
"I am good, what about you?" I asked when he broke the hug.
"Well, I couldn't have been better but I did sprained my hand the other day." He said as he touched his right hand and I slowly nodded. He was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and a black pants.
"Oh, that's bad, you should be more careful and Malon, told me that you wanted to talk to me." I said and he nodded as he looked in a different direction.
"Yeah, but not here plus I have to go now. Here's my number so call me." He smiled as he handed me a card then he munched my cheek before walking away. I blushed as I slowly sat down at the table while looking at card.
"Chelsea, who was that?" I suddenly heard Tyson voice and I looked up to see him along with Ashley.
"A friend of mine. What are you guys doing here?" I smiled.
"We both came to get ice cream and stuffs." He said while looking in a different direction and I giggled.
"Mhmmm. Ashley, you're back? Thank goodness." I said in relief and she chuckled.
She was gone for like three weeks and Tyson was going crazy. Like, really loco crazy! I have never seen him like that before and I guess, he changed from being a Player since he met Ashley.
"It wasn't even that long." Ashley said to me.
"It seems like three years for him." I smiled as I pointed to Tyson and he rolled his eyes.
"Well, we will be off now. Hurry home to Mom when you're finish with whatever you're doing." Tyson said bluntly and I scoffed.
"I am 16 turning 17 soon, you know?" I asked curiously since Jace just recently turned 16.

"You're still my little sister, you know." He informed me and I rolled my eyes.
"You are that old? I thought you were 15." Ashley chuckled and I choked on midair.
"What? Oh, right you missed my birthday because you were kidnapped at that time." I said as I remembered everything and she sighed.
"See you later." Tyson said as he pulled Ashley away and I smiled at them then Abby came back.
"The waiter is coming over. Why are you smiling like that?" She asked curiously as she sat down in the next chair at the table.
"I feel good." I smiled as I touched my cheeks and she raised an eyebrow at me.
"So good? I know that you would now!" She started to sing and we both laughed afterwards.

"Where are you going and again? And why everyday from the past few days?" Jace asked as he glanced me going towards the front door.
"Out." Is all I smiled about and he rolled his eyes.
"Where? Just tell me, so Mom doesn't have to worry and I can tell her where you are! And don't even mention Tyson! You know how he can be, Chelsea." Jace informed me and I sighed.
"I am going to meet one of my old friends and talk about shit. And Abby has a crush on you." I informed him and he stared at me.
"What?" He suddenly asked and I giggled.
"Abby, my best friend has a crush on you. Meaning she likes you but she's afraid to tell you because she thinks you won't like her back and alot of shit." I changed the subject and he chuckled.
"What? Seriously?" He smiled with a small blush on his cheeks and I winked at him.
"See you later."
With that I quickly left and I saw a car waiting outside the gateway. I closed the gates and I looked at the car then I saw him in the driver's seat.
"I thought you weren't going to come on out." He smiled so I chuckled as I hopped in the passenger seat beside him.
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked and he started to drive away.
"Because you don't miss me." He smirked and I giggled.
"Theo, I see you like 24/7 since you're back and I even skipped school to be with you." I smiled and he smirked as he stopped at the stoplight which was on red now.
"I skipped school to see you too, babe. I don't know why Malon would have done what he did to you and I guess he's just too much of an idiot. You're beautiful, Chelsea. You're hot. You're smart. You're everything I dream about and I am so glad to have you in my life, right now." He smirked and I blushed as he munched my cheek. He chuckled as he drove away and I blushed nonstop with a grin.
"I was in a relationship back then with this girl but that was back home and she cheated on me. I was heartbroken because she took everything from me and she was just playing games with me. I loved her so much but she didn't love me, and she just wanted my money so ever since her, I stopped loving." He said while looking sad and I stared at him.
"She's an idiot plus a bitch for doing that to you. She didn't deserve you Theo." I smiled and he sighed while he started to drive again.
"But now I met you Chelsea King and I got a second chance in loving again. I love you Chelsea and please believe me. I fall in love easily but I always end up getting hurt in the end." He said and I smiled with a blush.
"I love you too Theo." I smiled as I touched his cheek and he chuckled.
"I know you do, Chelsea." He said and I smiled as I looked towards the road.
"Where are we going?" I asked and he sighed.
"To a restaurant. I am going to give the most beautiful lady in the world a treat to show how much I love her. And don't worry she will be back home in no time so your parents won't get worried." He smirked and I smiled as something came across my mind.
"Theo, what was her name? The girl who left you heartbroken?" I asked and he sighed.
"Her name is, Lexi Rose." He informed me and I slowly nodded.
"I know a girl named Lexi and she just recently moved here but I don't think it's her, I guess." I said while I tried to think about it and he shrugged.
"Your past will always hunt you in the future, no matter what. Trust me, Chelsea."
"I do trust you, Theo."

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
