Walking into school and stopping at my locker, I watch Tyson kiss some random bitch at his locker, just a few lockers from mine.
"Gosh. He's a player too?" I laughed lightly while he made an eye contact with me.
I took out my books for my first class and shook my head. Just then I felt someone touching me on my shoulder so I turned around and I saw Chase.
"Oh, hi chase." I smiled and he chuckled.
"How are you?" He asked and I smirked.
"Well. I'm just being me." I said and he shrugs.
"You know that Tyson is glaring at me for some reason I don't know, right." He smirks and I rolled my eyes.
"He's just being an ass." I said and he shrugs.
"And here he comes." He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Hey Chase." Tyson said as he stood beside Chase.
"Hey Tyson." Chase said awkwardly and I rolled my eyes.
"You guys are so weird." I said as I closed my locker door.
"Whatever." Tyson said bluntly and I rolled my eyes.
"Well bye." With that Chase left and I sighed.
"What do you think you're trying to do?" Tyson asks as he suddenly trapped me between his hands on my locker.
"What am I doing?" I asked bluntly and he chuckles.
"You're making him fall for a girl like you." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh. So you think I am doing it on my own will?" I smirked and he scoffs.
"You are just a pathetic little rich brat and I don't want him to end up with someone like you." He spit at me.
"Whatever." Is all I said before I pushed him out of my personal space but fail to my surprise, and he smirks.
"Is this the part where you cry and let me pity you?" He asked coldly.
"You know that I am a girl and I have feelings. You can't just can't go around hurting peoples feelings, just because you're this so-called bad boy but it doesn't mean that you don't have feelings to be hurt too. Everyone in the universe as feelings for god’s sake. What have I ever done to you?" I was speaking to him like he was my ex-boyfriend and I always wanted to tell that before he went to jail.

With that Tyson put his hands down from my locker, and he run a hand through his hair with a confused look. He opened his mouth to say something, but I didn't want to hear anything, so I walked away.
He's a pain in the ass!
*********
I sighed as I walked down the hall then suddenly I bumped up into a chest and I waited for the person to groan at me.
"Um, why are you not moving out of my chest?" The person asked.
"I was just waiting for you to growl at me." I said as I stepped back. It was a boy with black hair and chocolate brown eyes. His hair was styled upward in a bad boy style liked Tyson.
"My names Mason." He said.
Oh, he's Mason.
"Ashley and I guess you're one of Tyson's best friends." I said and he nods.
"And I guess you were that girl who told Tyson off?" He asks and I nod, proudly.
"It was so fucking hilarious. No one in this school as ever told him off before because he is the school bad boy. And I didn't expect a girl would do that, because every girl falls to his feet and mine too." He smirks at that point.
"Wow. So I did the school a favor?" I asked and he chuckles.
"Yep." He said and I actually smiled.
"Why does he has to be such an ass and you along with Chase aren't?" I asked, curiously and he chuckles.
"You met Chase?" He asked and I nod.
"Well he's just complicated." He shrugged.
"He's just complicated and I just don't give a fuck." I said with a shrug.
"Well you did give him a piece of your mind on the first day of school and you did parked your bike in his spot. So if he's being an ass now, he wouldn't be doing it again." Is all he said and I shrug it off.
"Why do you wear a glass when you don't need it?" He suddenly asks and I sighed.
"I don't know" I shrugged then I straighten my glasses which I didn't remember I had on since literature class, just minutes ago.
He shrugs.
"Let's go eat lunch." He suggested and I nodded. We both went into the canteen and all eyes came towards us.

"Gosh. Why are these bitches glaring at me? Are you that popular?" I asked as I brought my food in the lunch line while he stood beside me.
"Well aren't we all bad boys?" He smirks and I rolled my eyes while we walked out of the line.
"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked as we both sat at an empty table.
"No. I don't eat the canteen food." He said in disgust and I sighed.
"Hot and popular boys." I mumbled as I shook my head.
"What?" He asks and I smirked at him.
"Hey, Mason. You found Ashley." Chase said as he sat down in a seat beside Mason.
"Yep. I found the girl who told off Tyson." They both laugh at that point and I smirked.
"But I wasn't lost so you couldn't have found me." I presumed and they chuckled at me.
"What are you guys doing here, sitting with the nerd?" A boy with reddish color hair and blue eyes asked as he leans against our table.
"Why does it matter to you, Ivan?" Mason asked bluntly.
"I don't know." Is all he said.
"Can't you just go?" Chase asked and he chuckles.
"Can't you just shut up?" Ivan asked him as he checked me out and I rolled my eyes.
"You better move!" Mason glared at him as he stood up. Go Mason! Wait, what? Why is he picking up for me?
"Or else what?'' He asked as his eyes moved to Mason.
"Ivan! Do you really want to cause trouble with my friends?" Tyson voice booms as he came out of nowhere while standing beside him with a glare.
"Um no. Sorry." Ivan said as he walked away and Mason sat down back. Tyson chuckles as he watches Ivan walking away from the table.
"Are you okay?" Chase asked me and I nod.
"Of course she is. She just got all the attention she always wanted." Tyson said as he sat down beside me and I fake chuckled.
"Why are you being mean to her?" Chase asked bluntly.
"Why am I the bad guy here?" Tyson smirked.
"Because you are hurting her feelings and she didn't do anything to us." Chase presumed.
"Say what now?" I was surprise by his words but no one looked at me.
"Oh and when since you started to care about her feelings or someone's feelings?" Tyson asked bluntly and the glaring contest begins.
"Just because she told you off on the first day of school, you are trying to get back at her." Chase said bluntly.
"Just because you have feelings for her and I totally don't, doesn't mean you can stop me from saying whatever I want to say to her." Tyson growled and Chase sighed.
"Um, guys I am still here." I rolled my eyes and they both looked at me. Chase scoff and Tyson rolled his eyes.
"Just be friends with her and see what she's like." Mason smirked at me.
"What if I don't want to?" Tyson asked bluntly.
"Um, what exactly am I like?" I asked annoyed and they all stared at me.
"If you don't want to, well you can continue being miserable with her for no reason... whatsoever." Mason smirks.
"But..." Tyson groans and I slightly chuckle at that point because Mason seems fatherly to Tyson. He glared at me and I smirked.
"Fine, just because you're my right hand." Is all he said and Mason nods.
"I am going to be a therapist someday too." Mason smirked and I chuckled.
"So you two please do the friend tinging." Mason smirks and Tyson raised an eyebrow at him. I rolled my eyes as Mason looked between us.
"Friends." Tyson rolled his eyes.
"Friends." I fake smiled and he returned it.
"Perfect. So, we cool now?" Chase asked and Tyson shrugged as he rolls his eyes.
"I am good at this." Mason said and we rolled your eyes. Tyson fake smiled at me and I rolled my eyes again. Mason was smirking at us like a maniac.
I sighed.

Techno-Heretic
Eli is an ancient man sentenced to death for the crime of surpassing the sacred number of 32.8, which is the allowed percentage of increased mental ability from the use of AI chips. As he journeys through death and into a world of fantasy and magic, he finds himself approaching never before seen heights of magical power and ability. Powers that will shape the world and would see him go down in legends for generations ever after. But just because someone acquires magical abilities, that doesn't mean magic is suddenly the most important thing in their life. Some people aren't looking to be all-powerful gods, have the world bow at their feet, or spend their days obsessing over accumulating ever more power. Some people just want acceptance, stability, and the warmth of their loved ones to drive away the cold loneliness of the night. And in a world where magic is the bedrock of society, where magic is what determines who is preferred for siring children, where people with high magical ability are destined to live in great luxury and those without magic simply live to make due, this difference in values and perspective could not have a starker contrast. As Eli and the people around him navigate the misconceptions and deceptions of this world, he will represent a great and magnificent future for the human race. One where humanity will stand above the elves, dwarves, orcs, fairies, and all the horrors of the world. Sadly, men's tools are as fallible as the people who make them, and in a society where the potential of an individual is determined solely through their magical level, this seed of promise may yet turn venomous.
