BACK TO WHEN TORI LEFT
Cole's POV
Wow what a bitch. We were just trying to warn her about Trent but no, she just bike's off.
"Bitch," Blake muttered.
"Tell me about it," Shawn said.
"I know seriously," I shoke my head.
We all got out of the car and headed to the backyard.
"Friday, Friday let's get down it's Friday." Shawn sang.
Me and Blake laughed. We had a way dirtier version of that song.
"Shawn you idiot," I chuckled.
"What?" he asked seriously, then started dancing, "It's Friday, Friday."
Blake and me watched as Shawn changed styles of singing.
He sang opera, "It's Friiiiiiidayyyyyyy."
Than some rap, hip hop, he made his voice really high, then squeaky.
Me and Blake gave each other one glance, sharing the same thought. In a flash we both tackled Shawn to the ground.
"No, no. Please don't. I haven't had me spinach yet," Shawn said struggling and talking like Popeye.
"What?" I yelled laughing.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" Blake said laughing.
"You know Popeye?" Shawn asked us. We had him pinned to the ground but me and Blake decided to get off of him.
"Why are you so retared?" Blake said shaking his head.
"Well if I answered that I'd be insulting myself, wouldn't I?" Shawn smirked.
"Yeah, yeah," I shoved the back of his head to make him start walking towards the house.
We walked in our house through the backdoor. Mom came towards us from the living room. She stared at us for a second. We were in our football jerseys that were STILL pink. God I can't believe Tori did that.
"How was tryouts?" she asked us, and put on a strained smile.
"Good," Blake said walking to the fridge.
"Great! You think you made it?" Mom asked.
The three of us smirked. Obviously we made it. We made it in freshman year, that's how good of a runner's we are.
"Ok ok just checking," mom said putting her hands up in surrender.

Bill walked in and he had a grave looking face, but he plastered a smile, "Hey guys tryouts went well as I presume?"
"Yeah they went well," Shawn said.
"Good, good." Bill muttered.
Suzie came in, her head hung low.
"Hey Suzie," I said.
"Hi," she didn't look up. Instead she walked to the fridge and then got a water bottle before heading upstairs.
"What's up with her?" Blake asked Bill.
"She'll get over it," Bill replied.
I looked back up the stairs and was about to go after Suzie.
"Cole wanna go throw the ball around with me and Shawn?" Blake asked as Shawn grabbed the football.
"Uhh yeah sure," I said.
The three of us headed outside to the backyard. We threw the ball amongst ourselves. Talking every once in while about random stuff.
"So what about the math teacher?" I asked.
"I wanna just slap that shithead," Blake said.
I laughed, "He's so damn strict!"
"I hate him," Shawn muttered.
"You hate every math teacher," I replied.
"So? I hate math and whatever teaches it," He said.
Me and Blake chuckled and went back to throwing the ball.
About an hour later the sun started to set.
"Dinner should be ready any minute," Blake said.
As if on cue our mom came to the door and called us in for dinner, "Boys! Dinners ready!"
We all looked at each other and raced to the door. That was us, always racing, and being competitive. I guess it has to do with being a triplet. You always want to be the best or the coolest. And it sucks for me because I'm in the middle. I mean Blake was born first and Shawn was last. So what am I? The middle, great.
We all sat around the table, Suzie playing with her food. I started to eat my spaghetti just like everyone else, but looked over at Suzie.
"Don't you like spaghetti?" I asked her.
"I'm not hungry," she muttered.
"Suzie please eat something. You have to-" Bill started to say but his phone went off.

Suzie perked up, "Who is it?"
Bill looked at the screen, "Tori."
"Tell her to tell Conlan I say hi and that I'm very sorry," Suzie said really fast.
I looked over at my brothers, we all shared the same confused expression.
First, who the heck was Conlan. And second why would Suzie be sorry. I honestly can't see her doing anything wrong. It's hard to picture her doing something bad, but I guess if you got her mad she could. I mean she went crazy when Blake took the Nutella.
"Hello?" Bill said into the phone.
I listened in as Bill talked with Tori.
"Tori! Are you still at his house?" He asked.
Whoa. His? She's at a guys house. I looked over at my brothers and they looked at me. I cracked a devious grin along with them. Who would have known Tori was like that?
"Only if Mrs.Bennett allows it," Bill said after a minute.
We heard more talking on the other line.
"Yes Tori you can. So are they alright?" Bill continued.
Suzie waved her arms to get Bill's attention, "Daddy tell her to tell Conlan hi and that I'm sorry."
Bill looked at Suzie and nodded then turned his attention back to the phone, "I know kiddo, I know. Hey I have to go we're in the middle of dinner. Suzie says to tell Conlan hi and that she's really sorry."
Suzie smiled and sat back in her chair.
"Bye kiddo," Bill hung up the phone and rubbed his face.
"When's Tori coming back?" Suzie asked.
"Tomorrow," Bill replied, "She's spending the night."
Blake choked on his food and started to laugh hysterically, "I'm sorry. Excuse me for a minute."
Blake got up and left to the basement, laughing the whole way downstairs. I looked over to Shawn, he had a crooked grin and I swear it was hard for me not to laugh too.
Who would of guessed Tori would sleep at a guy's house? Shawn looked over at me and mouthed something. I tilted my head in confusion and he reapeated it. This time I got it.
'Trent?' He mouthed.
I chuckled and shrugged. Then went back to eating my spaghetti.
Blake came back a couple minutes later and sat down eating his food. Bill didn't say anything, mom just stared at us, and Suzie still played around with her food.
"I'm not hungry," Suzie reapeated, getting up from the table and heading upstairs to her room.
After dinner we all headed upstairs and took turns taking the shower. As I headed out of the shower and into my room, I saw Suzie's door opened. I looked in through the crack I looked in and saw her tossing and turning in bed.
I went to my room and grabbed a clean white shirt and some basketball shorts, then went into her room.
"Hey Suzie whats wrong?" I asked sitting at the foot of her bed.
"What would you do if you lost both of your legs?" She asked all of a sudden.
I let a confused sigh, "Uhhh I don't really know. I guess it would suck. I mean no running, walking, heck you can't even stand up."
"Yeah it would be bad," She curled up into her pillow, "Appreciate what you have. You never know when it'll be taken away from you."
I stared at her as her breathing got slower and she fell asleep. Good god this girl was like a philosopher.
Once Suzie fell asleep I headed back to my room and got under the covers, 'Appreciate what you have. You never know when it'll be taken away from you.'
I slept on that phrase, it sounded like something from a book, or Galileo or something. I sighed and turned to my stomach, falling asleep.
