THE NEXT DAY AFTER SCHOOL
School today wasn't as bad as yesterday. Other than art, where people would snicker at me as I walked by. After school I mounted my bike and peddled back home. When I got back home, the guy's were still at football tryouts. Once they make the team, they'll have practice nearly everyday, that'll give me a good half hour away from them. It would be an hour, but since it takes me an half hour to get back home.
I walked in through the back door, "Hey Sue." I called to my sister.
Suzie was sitting at the counter doing her homework, "Hi Tori."
She looked back down at her homework and I walked to the fridge.
"Want a snack?" I asked.
"Yes please," She replied.
I smiled and pulled out vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and blueberries. Suzie looked over at me with a grin, I put my finger over my mouth.
"Shhh, our little secret, " I said.
She giggled and went back to her homework. I grabbed the blender and plugged it in. Grabbing some spoons I added the blueberries, strawberries, and ice cream.
"Its about to get loud," I warned Suzie. She put her pencil down and watched me as I turned on the blender. The fruits swirled around with the ice cream. When it was blended together I grabbed some ice and added it, this way it would be more solid. When I was done I grabbed a glass for me and Suzie. I found some straws in a drawer and placed it in the ice cream smoothie.
"Your personal favorite," I said to Suzie placing the glass in front of her, "Strawberry blueberry vanilla."
"Thank you Tori," She said sipping from her glass, "Mmmmm its really good."
I took a sip and it was good, "But you know I prefer cookies and cream."
Suzie laughed and went back with her homework, "Tori I need help."
I walked over and looked over her shoulder, "Alright lets see. Dividing fractions?"
Suzie nodded, "I don't remember how to do it."
I chuckled, "The rule is keep it, change it, flip it. So you keep the first fraction, you change the division sign to a multiplication sign and then you flip the last fraction."
As I said the rules I showed her on the sheet of paper.
"Ohhhhhhhh," Suzie said, "I gotcha now."
"Think you can do it?" I asked.
"Yeah," She replied already working on the next problem.

"Ok, tell me when your done and I'll check it," I said.
"K, thanks Tori." Suzie replied.
I headed upstairs to my room and changed into some sweats and a old t-shirt. I headed back downstairs and headed towards the basement.
"Sue I'll be in the gym," I called as I ran down the stairs.
I reached the bottom and looked around. The theater/game room was towards my left and the if I kept walking I'd reach the small gym that the guys have. They had a treadmill, a couple mats, a punching bag, and they had weights. I grabbed some of the gloves they had had and went to the punching bag.
I bounced on my toes left and right and hit the bag every so often.
I lost track in time and didn't even notice when someone walked in.
"You box?" Cole asked.
I jumped up, "God you scared me."
He chuckled, "Yeah last time I did that I ended up on the ground."
Whoa was he being....nice?
"Yeah sorry about that," I said and started hitting the bag again.
"Your arms are to low," Cole said after a while.
"Sorry?" I asked confused.
"Yeah you have your arms down here under your chin," Cole got into the stance I was in, "You really have to have them here covering your face." He showed me by putting his hands up in front of his face. I did the same.
"There, thats ths right position." Cole said.
"Thanks," I said.
He nodded and went over to sit at the bench they had for bench pressing. He just sat there and watched me.
I kept hitting the puching bag until it really started to make me feel awkward so I stopped, "Not to be rude or anything, but why are you here?"
Cole shrugged, "Football tryouts ended for today and I'm just waiting for Blake and Shawn to finish up with the shower. And I think Suzie needed to ask you something."
I nodded and took off my gloves. Making my way out the room.
'Tori has it ever occured to you that if you do something nice for them, they might do something nice for you?'
There's my dad's voice again. I sighed. Suzie can wait.
"Hey Cole.... wanna learn how to flip someone?" I asked.
Cole laughed, "Really you'd teach me your secret weapon?"
Now I laughed, "Yeah what the heck."
Cole grinned, "Truthfully, I really want to learn how to flip someone."
I smiled and Cole's grin faded and he suddenly looked...confused.
"What?" I asked frowning, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Uh nothing. So how do you flip someone?" He asked, grabbing the mats.
"It's harder than it looks," I said helping him place the mats in the middle of the room.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah you get one move wrong and you can break the person's arm," I replied.
Cole smirked, "Whatever you say."
I looked up at him, "Don't believe me?"
"No not really," He said.
"Want me to break your arm?" I asked.
"No." Cole said a little to fast and loud.
I laughed, "Ok so lets get started, first you-"
"BLAKE THAT'S MINE!" Suzie yelled, "GIVE IT BACK!"
I looked over at Cole but he looked just as confused. I pushed my way through him and ran up the stairs.
"Where did you get this!?" Blake bellowed.
"It's mine Blake! Give it back!" Suzie yelled.

Shawn's POV before
We were driving back from practice. Blake was driving and Cole had shotgun. Sometimes it sucked being the youngest. I mean I know we're triplets and all but it still bugged me.
"Guys we have a problem, " I said.
"Yeah Shawn we know," Cole said, "Pink can stain real easily."
Me and Blake laughed. I hit Cole in the back of the head.
"No you idiot," I said.
Blake laughed, "Ok what is it?"
"Trent is coming over tomorrow to work on a project," I said.
"What!?" They both yelled.
"No he can't. What about Tori?" Cole asked.
"That's the thing, she's in our group." I said.
"That might work, but what about Suzie?" Blake asked.
"I'll worry about Suzie," Cole said.
We all finally arrived home. I got out of the car and headed inside the other two following.
"Hey," Suzie called.
"Uh hi," I said awkwardly.
"Hey Suzie," Cole said.
Blake ignored her and just asked, "What are you doing?"
"Math," she replied, never looking up from the paper, "Actually I'm done, can one of you get Tori, I think she's downstairs."
"I'm taking a shower," Blake said completely ignoring her.
"I'll wait for Blake to finish," I said and went to sit at the couch in the living room.
"Cole can you please get Tori?" Suzie asked.
"Sure," Cole said. I heard him going down the stairs.
A couple minutes later Blake came downstairs. I got up and headed upstairs taking a quick shower. I came back downstairs with my hair all wet. Blake was in the kitchen getting some water, I walked over and got some as well. We sat at the table and Suzie stared at us from the counter.
"What?" I asked.
She shrugged and got up, "I'm gonna get Tori."
I saw something slip from her back pocket. Blake got up and picked it up, "You dropped this." He said.
Suzie turned around and her eyes became wide when her eyes fell on the folded piece of paper. Blake opened it up and I saw the anger flash in his eyes.
"Where'd you get this?" He said through clenched teeth.
"I...uhhh..." Suzie said.
I got up and looked over Blake's shoulder. It was the picture of me, Blake, and Cole with our dad. Now the anger flared in me. Where did she get this!? Only me and my brothers had pictures like this. In either our room or wallets.
"Where did you get this?" I asked.
"Its mine, can I have it back." Suzie said.
"No this isn't yours," Blake said, "Where did you get it?"
"Give it back," Suzie said.
"No it's not yours, its ours." I said. Blake looked down at the picture. Suzie jumped up for the picture, but Blake moved his arm over his head.
"BLAKE THAT'S MINE!" Suzie yelled, "GIVE IT BACK!"
"Where did you get this!?" Blake bellowed.
"It's mine Blake! Give it back!" Suzie yelled.
I heard footsteps coming up from the basement.
"What's going on?" Tori asked.
"He won't give me back my picture!" Suzie yelled.
"It's not hers! This little brat went through our stuff!" Blake said.
"Or our wallets," I added, "What'd you do? Steal our money?"
"I didn't take anything!" Suzie started to sob, "Just give me back my picture."
"Cole this one is your picture," I said looking at the back where it had his name written on it.
Tori walked over to Suzie, "Come on lets go."
"But that's my picture!" Suzie cried out.
"Come on Sue," Tori grabbed Suzie's hand and walked her up the stairs.
"Cole what the hell was that about?" Blake snapped.
"Dude this is your picture," I said, "You always have this in your wallet. She stole it!"
"No she didn't steal it," Cole snatched the picture, "I let her see it, I must have forgotten to take it back. Now drop it."
Blake was still pissed, "That's bull shit Cole!"
"Whatever. I'm taking a shower," Cole walked away going upstairs.
What the hell? Cole would never forget the picture. Never. What is going on here?!

This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
