"What was that?" dad asked.
I shrugged and tried to look clueless, "I have no clue."
"Boys!" Lilly yelled up at them, "Are you ok?"
We heard tripping and grunting as the three boys made their way downstairs, one on top of the other. They ran down the stairs until they came into our view. Blake stood in the middle while Cole took his left and Shawn took the right.
"What is this?!" Blake yelled as he showed us his, Cole's, and Shawn's football jerseys.
Suzie looked like she was having a hard time controlling her laughter, Lilly also seemed to be having troubles but she also seemed confused. My dad just stared at the jerseys and chuckled while me, I full out laughed.
"Wha-what happened?" Lilly finally said giggling.
The jerseys weren't their regular white and blue. No now it was pink and blue. The whole thing was now pink and the only detail that stayed the same was the blue strip on the shoulders.
"You tell me," Blake said pulling out a red sock.
"I must have accidently put it in with the white clothes," Lilly said looking at the sock, "I'm sorry you guys."
"Well what are we going to do?!" Shawn shouted.
"We have try-outs this week!" Cole yelled.
"You could just wear these unti-" Lilly started.
"I am NOT going to practice wearing pink shorts!" Blake yelled interuppting her.
"Well....you won't get a new shirt until you try-out. So your just gonna have to make this work," Lilly said.
"Wow," Suzie finally said, "It only takes one red sock to turn three jersey's into pink flowers."
We all stared at her and her face suddenly lit up.
"Oh my god if you put a blue sock will it turn the shirt blue?" She said like she just had a break through.
"Why do you even want to know that?" Blake glared.
"Because then you guys would look like Smurfs!" She said then added, "That would be cool."
Dad, Lilly, and me started to laugh.
"I actually want to try that now," I said truthfully. I never thought of that. That'd be a great science expirement.

"Ok well how about this," Dad said, "I take you guys to that sport's store and get you all the new U.S.A Soccer league jersey?"
The guys stood in shock.
"Wait what?" Cole asked.
"Yeah why not? The new shirts came in and I hear you collect them. You can either get the cleats or the shirt, but not both." Dad said.
"No Bill that's to much," Lilly said.
"I'll take the offer," Blake said rudely.
"Blake!" Lilly snapped.
My dad just smiled, "I'll meet you guys in the car."
My dad grabbed his keys and swirled them around his fingers before heading out to the garage door.
Lilly walked up to Blake, "Your in big trouble and when you get back we're having a talk. That goes to the three of you."
With that Lilly walked off and headed to her room. Huh? Blake was in big trouble, it took everything in me not to laugh.
Blake watched her leave and once she was out of sight he turned his attention to me, "We know it was you, bitch!" He spat out in a whisper yell.
I chuckled, "You have no proof?"
"Suzie can we talk with Tori for a sec," Cole asked. Suzie nodded and headed up to her room.
"We don't need proof to know that you did it Tori," Shawn said.
I got up and walked towards them stopping in front of Blake, "Besides I think you'll look fine in pink."
I patted his cheek and walked off laughing. The look on his face was priceless. His notrils were flaring and his fists were clentched on both sides of him, his face was red and his eyes practically glowed with hatred.
Once I was upstairs in my room I grabbed my phone. Looks like I have some texts from my friends. I opened them up and read them.
Cali: hey tori wanna hang?
Cali: tori y arent u answering me??
Cali: tori y arent u at ur house! where r u?
Oh no she went back to my old house. That is not good. After reading Cali's messages I went to Mark's.
Mark: hey tori u there?
Mark: tori we r @ ur place, where r u?
Of course. They didn't know I moved, because they didn't know my dad got remarried. So what do I do now?

I heard a knock at the door and then it opened.
"Hey Tori," Lilly said.
"Hi." I simply said back. A couple of seconds passed by in silence. As Lilly walked in my room but stood at the doorway.
"The boys already left," Lilly said breaking the silence, "So I was wondering if you and Suzie would want to watch a movie with me?"
I smiled, "Sure."
Lilly grinned and headed out my room and into Suzie's. Suzie agreed and we all headed downstairs. I made some popcorn and Lilly got us some drinks while Suzie went in the pantry and got some candy. After we had everything we headed down to the basement and I to the theater room. It had some nice chairs and a projector instead of a T.V. We all sat in the comfy leather recliners and put in Pirates of the Caribbean.
"Are you sure Suzie can watch this?" Lilly asked.
Me and Suzie laughed.
"Lilly I'm nine. Yes I can watch it," Suzie said, "Besides I've seen worse."
Lilly didn't look to certain but dropped the matter as the movie started.
LATER THAT NIGHT
I was calmly sat on my bed, just watching some Full House when my door burst open.
"Listen bitch," Blake spat out, "You think your so funny messing with my jersey. But trust me when I say, I always have the final word."
I rolled my eyes, "Ok well, look good tomorrow as a flamingo."
Blake left my room, slaming the door behind him. I chuckled and went back to my program. A couple minutes later there was knock at my door.
"Come in," I said lowering the volume on the t.v.
My dad walked in and gave me a smile, "Can I talk to you for a sec?"
"Yeah. About what?" I asked.
My dad walked over and sat on my bed, "Did you think about what I told you before?"
"What?" I asked confused.
"That if you do something nice for your brothers, they might do something nice for you too." Dad said.
I had been thinking of it, but I wasn't going to let that show. So I just shrugged.
"Not really. Why?" I asked.
"Because why do you think I got them the jerseys? I did something nice for them, and we actually talked about a few things." Dad said.
"Ok well thats great for you dad. Your bonding with them. Yipee," I muttered.
"Tori," dad put is hand on my knee and sighed, "Ok I'll make a deal with you."
I raised an eybrow, "What kind of deal?"
"You do something nice for your stepbrothers and I'll get you Apocalypse of the Zombies 2," dad said.
I grinned, I had been wanting that game for a while. It won't come out for like another month, but the wait was worth it.
"That's not good enough dad," I said truthfully. One game was not good enough for doing something nice to those jerks.
"Ok then I'll get you the game AND we go to the movies. And when the movies done we head to the ice cream parlor. Like the old days," dad said.
"Just you and me?" I asked. Me and dad used to that all the time. Go to the movies and then the ice cream shop. But lately he hasn't been around so that offer was quite tempting.
Dad nodded, "Just you and me like we used to."
I sighed, "Until Christmas."
"Thanksgiving and not a day more," dad said. He was a serious negotiator.
I nodded, "Ok the deadline is thanksgiving."
Dad stuck out his hand, "Deal?"
I stared at his hand for a minute and finally sighed and shook it, "Deal."
He smiled at me, "Ok well goodnight Tor-bo."
He kissed my forehead and left my room, leaving me there to think. After a while I got into my pajamas and turned off the tv, curling under my blankets.
'Tori has it ever occured to you that if you do something nice for them, they might do something nice for you?'
I groaned. That phrase was starting to get on my nerves, but could my dad possibly be right?
*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*
So Blake is going to have the last word, oooooooh. And now they are going to look like flamingos. Lol. And if anyone would like to try out Suzie's theory or a blue sock? By all means I am curious too :P
Ok well I didn't really know what else to write about. But I hope you guys liked it. Please keep voting and commenting.
Love y'all.
