Ok I want to just give a shout out to some of my friends: Milani, Aliza, Chandler, Sam B., Samantha P. and Disha. Thanks you guys, I love you all.

I woke up the next morning with the chirps of birds and the sun shining in through the blinds. I groaned and rolled around in my bed. Finally I got out and walked to my suitcase taking out some clothes and putting it on. Usually when I didn't start living with the guys, I'd just walk down in my pajamas, but how awkward would that be.

I oulled out was a simple Abercrombie T-shirt and some regular jean shorts that reached just a little above my knee. I walked out the door and headed downstairs, bouncing up and down the stairs. When I reached the bottom I walked to the kitchen and sat at the counter.

"Morning Tori," Suzie chirpped happily from the dining table.

"Morning Sue," I replied then added to Cole and Shawn who were already up, "Morning guys."

They grumbled a good morning and turned back to their cereal.

What the heck? Yesterday we had a blast but now....looks like we're back to square one. Jerks.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked Suzie.

She nodded, "It was awesome! I've never slept on the top bunk before it was really cool."

I smiled at her and then turned to Cole, "Did you sleep well?"

"No," he grumbled and looked up from his cereal turning his attention to me, "Did you know she snores!?I never knew a little nine year old girl could snore."

I laughed and nodded, "Yeah she's like that."

Suzie giggled and shrugged.

Lilly and my dad walked in the kitchen getting their own bowls and spoons.

"Morning," Lilly said happily.

"Morning," We all replied.

"Where's Blake?" Dad asked looking around.

"Still sleeping," Shawn replied.

My dad nodded, "Well we're gonna start heading back around two. Sound good?"

"Yeah."

"Sure."

"Ok."

"What!? Why!?" Suzie complained.

"Cause you all have school tomorrow, and I have work."Dad replied.

"Ugh, fine." Suzie grumbled.

We all sat around the table eating our breakfast when my dad's phone rang. He started pulling it out of his pocket and looked into the screen. My dad frowned and sighed, "I have to take this, excuse me."

He got up and headed out the backdoor and onto the balcony. We all turned to face the window and we watched my dad. My dad paced around and I saw his lips move around. He rubbed his temple and sighed. I saw his lips move some more but I still couldn't make it out. Finally I saw my dad mouth a 'goodbye' and he hung up the phone. He stayed outside for I minute, leaning on the rail.

Suzie sighed, "I know who it is."

"Me too," I muttered.

"Who?" Lilly asked.

"Dad's boss he only paces like that when its him, Chief Deliv," Suzis said.

"More like Chief Devil," I muttered under my breath.

Lilly must have heard me because she started talking, "I'm sure you dad's boss isn't that bad."

"He has not heart," Suzie muttered.

"No heart, brain, lungs, bet you he doesn't even have a kidney. He's hollow and only cares about himself and his job." I played around with my spoon pushing the cereal from one side to the other. Never taking my eyes off of it.

"He's a demon's child," Suzie said.

I could feel Lilly, Cole, and Shawn staring.

"Wow," Cole said and Shawn whistled, "You guys don't like this guy at all."

"No he's just some ba-" I started but then dad walked in cutting me off. We all looked up at him and he gave us a sad smile.

"My boss wants me to work today," he started, "One of the others got sick."

"No surprise there," I snapped.

"Tori I don't have a choice he's my boss," dad snapped back.

"Whatever, I'm gonna go pack. Since Chief Devil needs you," I got up and pushed my way through my dad then ran up the stairs. I slammed the door behind me once I reached my room and just sat on my bed for while.

I hated Chief Deliv. He was always the same. Heartless, mean, cruel, doesn't care about anyone but himself and his responsibilities. It was all his fault after all. I hated him and dad knew that.

FLASHBACK

"Daddy you can't just leave?!" I sobbed half squealing when I talked. I was sitting outside the hospital room. Suzie sat in a chair next to mine.

My dad cupped my ten year old face in his hands, "I'm sorry Tori but I have to go. My boss called, I'm sorry."

I grabbed his wrists and cried, "You-you can't just leave. Wh-what about Suzie? I-I can't just take care of her while your gone. Daddy please don't leave me."

My dad let a tear roll down his cheek, "Tori I have to go, or I'll get fired. Please take care of your sister while I'm gone."

"Daddy you can't leave us," Suzie said crying. She was two and still she understood what was going on.

"I love you both," my dad cried. He kissed my forehead and then kissed Suzie's. He got up and I still had my hand clutched to his.

"I'll be back in bit," dad told me.

"How long?" Suzie asked.

"A bit. Don't worry nothing will happen, I promise. I'll be back soon," Dad said.

"Please don't go," I cried and tugged at his hand.

"Tori I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise." My dad started to walk off. I still held his hand but once he was to far for me to reach, I let go. My hand just fell, and I silently cried some more as I watched my dad walk down the hall.

I heard Suzie next to me, she was sobbing. I hugged her and tried to sooth her. I had to try to be strong. At least try.

BACK TO REALITY

I sat at my bed, my head in my hands. I didn't want to think about it, so instead I packed my suitcase.

÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷

Cole's P.O.V

Whoa. Tori really hates that guy. Even Suzie hates him, that's a shocker.

Bill still stood where he was. After Tori walked by he just stood there rubbing the back of his neck.

"Wow...Bill is there a reason Tori hates your boss?" Mom asked.

"Yeah but we don't talk about it," Bill said.

Suzie finally looked up from her cereal bowl, "Do you have to go work now?"

Bill sighed, "Yeah we're going have to leave earlier than intended too."

"Can't you just..." Shawn started to say, but then stopped.

"No. He's my boss. He could fire me and he won't think twice before doing so," Bill said regretfully.

"Fine," Suzie said angrily, "Go work for the devil."

She got up and ran up the stairs.

I watched as she left up the stairs. Wow. Whatever this guy did, they really hate him.

Bill sat at the table and put his head in his hands. Mom rubbed his back trying to calm him down, but he just stayed like that. He seemd to be thinking. Of what? No clue.

Finally he looked up, "Boys go pack. We'll have to leave in a couple."

Me and Shawn got up and started walking towards the stairs.

"Oh and please wake up Blake," mom called after us.

"What was that about?" I asked Shawn once we were at the top of the stairs.

"Who knows what goes on in their lives. But let me tell you, they really hate that guy." Shawn muttered. He headed into his room and closed the door behind him.

I went to my door and turned the handle. But it was locked.

I sighed, "Hey Suzie can you open the door? I need to get my stuff."

I didn't hear anything at first, but then I heard the bed creak and footsteps. The door unlocked but didn't open. I opened the door and saw Suzie climbing up the ladder to her bed. I ignored her, closed the door behind me, and grabbed my suitcase from the closet. I set it on the ground and then heard a sniffle. I turned and looked up at Suzie.

Her back was facing me but I saw it slightly move up. Unlike Tori, I was tall enough to just look over the rail.

"Suzie are you crying?" I asked lightly.

"No," Was all she said.

Even though I was tall enough to look at her I jumped on the bottom bed and now I could look over her side. She wiped her face and I saw her eyes were red and puffy. She was holding something in her hand, but I couldn't see it.

"Now why is a beautiful princess like yourself crying?" I said smiling at her.

She turned her head to look at me, but didn't say anything. She turned again making her back face me again. Her hands were cupping something, and I still couldn't see it.

I reached over with one arm and lightly opened her hands. She didn't even protest. She just kept looking at it. When I opened her hands I stared at the picture in her hands.

"Th-that's you mom, isn't it?" I asked. The picture had a beautiful women maybe in her mid-thirties or early forties. But it looked like she had a spirit of a teenager. She was smiling, her smile so friendly and kind. Her hair was just like Suzie's, black and curly. But her eyes were a lighter shade of green, while Suzie's was a green and brown. She was sitting on a wooden bench with a bush of roses behind her and she looked so happy. But the smile was definitely the most captivating thing, I felt like I had see it before but I just didn't know where.

Suzie simply nodded and sniffed.

I smiled down at her and lightly shoved her shoulder, "Hey. Did you know you look a lot like her?"

Suzie cracked a smile, "They always tell me that."

"Yeah?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah. Bu-but I don't want to look like her."

That confused me, "Why? Don't you want to be like your mom?"

Suzie shook her head and more tears fell from her eyes, "No. Be-because I feel like I-I'm a replica. But I don't want to be because then I-I feel like I have to be like her, but I can't. I'll never be my mom." Suzie sobbed.

"Hey," I said, "Don't cry Suzie, don't cry."

"Some-sometimes I forget how she looks. I always have to look at the pictures to remember. But its all fading away, everything. Now it takes me so long to remember how she laughed, and smiled. Sometimes I can't even remember her face and all I see is a shadow. A outline of her, but not her face. I-I don't want her to leave. I'm scared that one day, I'm going to wake up and totally forget what she looks like. That I won't be able to recognize her in the pictures, unless Tori or dad tell me. I'm scared that she'll leave me, forever," Suzie cried more.

I wiped away one of her tears, "That's not true."

I never thought of that. Suzie must have been young when her mother died. But I still have memories of my dad. I was eleven, I had eleven years of memories. But the first two or three years don't count, but Suzie. Suzie can't remeber a lot can she? Sometimes its hard for me to rememeber, and thats saying a lot.

I pulled out my wallet and opened it. Pulling out a small rectangular picture.

"Hey look at this," I handed the picture of my dad to Suzie. My dad had brown hair, and green eyes. He was in his mid-thirties and was also smiling, only in my picture he had his arms around me, Blake, and Shawn. We were seven at the time and were at the beach. My dad looked really happy. It was when he was teaching us how to surf.

Suzie looked at the picture and gave a sad smile, "You look like him."

I smiled back, "Yeah, thats something we have in common. You and me. We both look like one of our parents."

"You mean our dead parent," Suzie muttered.

I sighed, "Yeah, but Suzie you shouldn't be ashamed that you look like your mom." I said looking back at her mother's picture.

Suzie turned around, finally facing me, "Why?"

I smiled, "Because this way you always know that even though your mom isn't here, with us. She's here and she'll never leave you, ever."

I pointed towards her heart and she put her hand there. I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"And your dad is always gonna be here," Suzie said putting her hand on my chest.

"Exactly. And since you look like your mom, you will always know what she looked like. So if you ever forget you can go and look in the mirror." I said smiling at her.

She let out a small laugh and nodded, "Sometimes I'm jealous of Tori because she will always remember our mom more than me. But in a way I think she's jealous of me sometimes, because I look like mom and she looks like dad."

I nodded, "Blake and Shawn are jealous of me sometimes. They wish they looked more like dad, but Blake looks like mom...err...Lilly and Shawn looks like our grandad."

Suzie let a small laughed and I joined in. She had both pictures, one in each hand. She looked back and forth, but kept her eyes on my dad's picture. She stared at it for a minute.

"Wanna trade?" I asked her.

She looked up at me and back at the picture of her mom, "If I ever need to remember what mom looks like, I can just look in the mirror." She muttered, like she was reassuring herself more than me.

After a second she nodded and handed me the picture of her mom. She kept the picture of my dad and stared at it a while longer.

"I'm going to put this somewhere safe," I said looking at the picture of Suzie's mom, "And if you ever want to look at it, you just tell me, ok?"

She nodded and watched me as I put the picture in my wallet. When I was done I looked back at her.

"Wanna come down? We have to pack." I said. She stood up on the top bunk and climbed down the ladder. When she reached the bottom she did something I never expected her to do. She ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Thanks Cole," She said in my clothes, "Tori's wrong. Your a good stepbrother."

I smiled and got on my knees, wrapping my arms around Suzie's waist, and she wrapped hers around my neck.

"Your not so bad either," I said then added, "As long as I give you the Nutella."

Awwwwwwwww..... Isn't Cole just a sweetheart with Suzie??? And they have something in common, they both look like their parents. I thought I should just add that in here. So this was Cole's perspective and what do you think of Tori and Cheif Deliv? And the flashback? Ohhhhhhhh......stay tuned to find out.
