Y/N's P.O.V

It was now Saturday. I had today off, so here I am. In a small cafe in the town. Eating a bagel with Nutella. Contemplating my lifes choices.

As in yesterday.

When Lloyd walked me to my room.

And kissed me.

And I kissed back.

"You have no idea who I am."

I was not expecting his next move. And I definitely did not expect him to put one hand on the back of my head and the other around my waist, and kiss me.

And against my better judgment, I kissed back.

My hands went around his neck as his grabbed my hips. It was a very emotional kiss. Anger, sadness, love - maybe - and us both having a point to prove. Maybe Maya was right. Because even though it was so wrong, it felt right. I hadn't even noticed I was moving till my back hit the wall right next to the window.

However, said right feeling was cut short when a beeping sound came from the door. Nya must have been putting the code in. My eyes immediately opened and I snapped out of my lovesick trance right then and there. I shoved Lloyd off of me. Nya could never get the code right until the third try. I heard the lock make a buzzing noise, signaling she got the code wrong. I heard her groan and a knock on the door.

"Y/N can you open the door? Please?" I let out a small noise of panic, and opened our window. I practically shoved Lloyd out.

"You are seriously shoving the Prince out of his own Castle." Lloyd smirked.

"You're a Ninja. Figure it out." I sassed back.

"You can't fight fate forever, Sweetheart." He said, quickly kissing my lips before jumping off. I stood there in shock. It wasn't until Nya knocked again did I finally regain my strength to function. I closed the window and hurried to the door. Opening said door, Nya gave me a confused look.

"I, uh, have food duty tonight. I'm gonna have to go." I said, walking out the door.

"Dont you have to change?" She asked. I walked my happy butt right back into the room.

And locked myself in my closet.

I dont know what happened. But I avoided Lloyd the rest of the night. Which wasn't hard. But I about had a mental breakdown. Every five minutes. But that's okay. I'm fine. Totally fine.

I'm not fine.

My head literally hurts. So many questions and concerns have been circling my brain since I pushed the Prince out of my window after he kissed me and pushed me against my wall. Then kissed me again. Willingly. Not against his own will. He just went ahead and kissed me. What happens now? Does he know about my past? Are we soulmates? If we are soulmates does he know? And why in the hell did the Prince kiss ME?!

I put my head in my hands and let out a displeased sigh. This just made everything even more complicated to a whole new level. Did he tell the others? Do they know? I hope this doesn't make it seem like everything is fine. Because its not? But now my friends know I probably have been trained, and I kept that from them. Like they kept training for Ninja status. So, now I look like a fool.

"Well, this behavior obviously means something happened and you are now trying to figure out what went wrong." A voice said, knocking me out of my thoughts. Looking up I saw Nova. She had been my friend for years. She was also the stables assistant. As in, she picked up after the horses. She has met the others before - minus Lloyd - but she mainly hung out with just me.

Her skin was a very beautiful dark shade, and her eyes were brown with a hint of gold. Her hair was long and very curly. Her natural hair reached just above her mid back, so when she straightens it - its very long.

She also happens to be the Elemental Master of the Sun. She knows how to train it of course. Every Elemental Master has to train their powers. But no women can fight. Dumbasses.

"Alot has happened. And I feel like I'm about ready to just go somewhere. I don't know where, but anywhere but here sounds delightful." I groaned. She sat down at the seat across from me. She put her coffee down and put her coat on the back of her seat.

"Let me guess." She started, folding her arms on the table. "Boy problems?" I snorted.

"Yup. And no one would ever believe with who." I sighed.

"Let me guess, the Prince." She said sarcastically before letting out a small laugh. When she noticed my face, her laughing stopped. "Oh my gosh! I was totally kidding!"

"I know. But I dont know what to do."

"Okay, let's go on a walk and you can tell me all about it." She said, gathering her things again. I reluctantly got up and threw my trash away, getting my coat as well. It wasn't necessarily cold, just windy and a tab bit rainy. I had been wearing black high waisted jeans with minimal rips on them. I had a newspaper themed t-shirt on that was slightly cropped and a bit fitted. A throw over, long purple cardigan that was a mesh material and only went up to my elbow. All paired with my white, high top converse. I left my hair down in its natural state, since my uniform requires it to be up while on duty. Unless told not to be. So on days like this I gave it and my head a break. I had on mascara and eyeliner, with some purple inner corner highlight for eye shadow. I did my brows to my liking and my lips with a small red tint lip crayon and some chapstick.

I had my coat as a last resort. I would have to take off my cardigan and put it on. But I loved my outfit today so I had it as a back up. I stuffed my phone and earbuds in my back pocket, along with the chapstick. My ID was in my phone case, the only way back into the Castle since it was heavily guarded, obviously.

Me and Nova walked out of the Café, making sure to say goodbye to the old lady who ran the place. I definitely needed to rant to her. I love Nya and the others, but their group is super tight and the know everything about each other. I sometimes felt like a 7th wheel, or that friend who walks in the grass or behind so that the others would be fine. But with Nova, it was always kept between me and her. It was always refreshing having a new face to talk to. Siblings don't always get along. Every friendship has hard parts.

We had began walking in the out skirts of the town. Pretty much along the lavender fields that outlined the woods. Me and Nova often took this route. Away from eyes and ears. Especially with this topic.

"Not what I was expecting." She trailed off. "But, uh. Okay, I dont know what ti say actually."

"Tell me about it." I groaned. "Thanks for listening though." I said. I had told her everything. Leaving out certain parts, obviously.

"I just don't understand why they used you to train for Knights? They have training almost everyday. Why attack you?" Nova said. "Im also not surprised you kicked their asses."

"Yeah." I sighed. Nova knew about my training. And Nya. She may not have been close to the group, but I trusted her. She can also travel by light with her powers. So she has a habit of just bursting into a room. But she didn't know to what degree it was.

"Well, at least the Prince likes you." She teased. "And the mention of soulmates? Seems like you have quite the future ahead of you."

"Yeah. A future of 'what the hell am I doing' seems to be it. Royalty does not seem fun." I sighed again. "Makes my head hurt."

"Well, remember me when you're Queen." She said. As we had drifted closer to the woods, I heard rustling and snaps from twigs. I ushered Nova behind me and got my knife from its holder on my back and hid behind a tree.

"Why do you have a knife?!" She whisper-yelled in my ear. I shushed her and got ready as the sounds got closer. As as a saw the person, I quickly put the tip of my knife an inch away from their neck.

And lady luck was on my side.

Not.

It was Lloyd.

And behind him was Cole.

And they both were holding their horse's by their reins.

"Is it safe?" I heard Nova wisper from behind the tree. Lloyd raised his eye brow at me, and then moved the blade away from him gently with his finger. In shock, I put my knife away.

"You're all good Nova." I said, clearing my throat. She poked her head out, checking to make sure everything way ok. Which it's not. Her eyes widened when she saw Lloyd.

"Your Highness!" She said, immediately straightening herself and bowing.

I did not.

"You're all good Nova." Lloyd exused. "Seems like we caught you too off guard."

"Well, normally the Prince is not off dilly dallying in the woods with a horse this far from the Castle grounds." I remarked. Lloyd gave me an amused look.

"I am very capable of protecting myself. My mother knows I am out here, which is why Cole is here with me." He said, gesturing to Cole. He had an amused look too. Oh, Lloyd definitely told the others. No doubt.

"Really. I seem to think otherwise." I said. "C'mon Nova. We still have today off. Let's go into town and do something." I said turning to the shocked girl. She let out a nervous laugh as I walked away. And I did not get far.

"Hold on." Inwardly groaning, I turned to the two boys. "As gentleman should, we will escort you to where you need to go." I gave Lloyd a tired glare.

"Why?" I said plainly.

"Well, seems like the right thing to do. And it was not a request." He smirked. Hormones. Do not act up right now. He gestured his head to his horse, a white one with a blonde mane and tail, and green eyes. How fitting. The horses saddle and partial armor was green and gold. Coles was a black horse with a black tail and mane. And brown eyes. And the horses armor matched Coles aesthetic too. So now they color coordinate their features with their horses? Weird ass people.

"He doesn't bite." Lloyd remarked. I saw Cole helping Nova up behind him on his horse. Ship. Reluctantly I walked up to the horse.

"It not the horse who I have an issue with." I snapped back, swatting his hand away that he had offered for help. And well, I got myself up perfectly fine behind him.

"Lighten up, Sweetheart. You didn't seem to mind one bit, as I recall, either." He smirked. I fought back a blush. And even more so when I realized I would have to hold onto him. Never in a million years did I think that Prince Lloyd would ever be like this. Gathering up every bit of urge I had not to shove him off, I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my chin on his shoulder. I bit back a smirk as I felt him shift in his seat, probably not expecting this.

"Whats wrong, Sweetheart?" I remarked.

"Nothing." He said, clearing his throat. Grabbing the reins, he did some move and got his horse into a gallop, Cole following.

It felt like forever before we got to the town. My butt hurts and I just needed space for me. Dont get me wrong. I definitely didn't mind being that close to Lloyd. I was pissed at him, but I still had a crush on him. Let's just hope this crush doesn't turn into a full on love frenzy in two days.

"Right here is fine." I said, pulling away from Lloyd. We were on the outskirts, so just before the buildings started. I wanted to get away before people saw us. "Dont wanna be seen with the servant class."

"That's not true and you know it Y/N." Lloyd said sternly.

"Well, no horses allowed." I said hoping off, Nova following after. I saw Lloyd bite the inside of his cheek, obviously holding something back.

"Um, thank you for bringing us here." Nova said, breaking the tension.

"You're welcome." He said to Nova. "I'll see you later, Y/N." He turned his horse and took off.

"You are a pain in the ass." Cole laughed before following Lloyd.

"What in the hell." Nova started. "Not what I thought your situation was." I laughed.

"Oh please. If he truly loved me, he'll be fine being kept on his toes."

"Well, this shopping trip was eventful." Nova smiled. She was a shop till I drop kind of girl, except she barley dropped. Meanwhile, 5 stores in and a I had almost fallen asleep in the dressing rooms. While trying shorts on. We had gone to Forever 21, Papaya, American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, Hollister (the one I fell asleep in), and lastly (F/S of choice). I needed new clothes, I didn't really go shopping so most of my clothes were pretty old. Minus my work clothes and some clothes I was given for Christmas. With my birthday on Monday, I knew I would probably get gift cards, but Nova was here and I needed a distraction.

It was around 5 p.m, I had to head back soon. But Nova wanted to have a frozen lemonade with me.

"We never really get days like this together." She said. "It will take 10 minutes at most. Then we can head back."

I couldnt say no to that. We had been out for almost 6 hours and I was thirsty. And a frozen lemonade sounded good. So thats what we got. We sat down at the cute seating area and made small talk. I ended up putting the coat I had in a shopping bag. Because well, the weather cleared up real fast and became sunny. So here I sat, resting bitch face as I drank my frozen lemonade, my sunglasses blocking the sun.

"Okay, we should leave now." Nova said. I let out a displeased grunt.

"Its a 20 minutes walk back lets just seat here for a bit." I said, closing my eyes. I sat very unlady like in the chair. One arm resting on the arm rest and the other resting on the back of the chair as I sat at an angle. However, the peace and quite was killed. I heard chairs moving and then silence. And I had a pretty good idea of who it was.

"Can she see us?" I heard Jay wisper.

"Y'all are insufferable." I said. I opened my eyes, and there they all were. All 6 of them. Lloyd had a hoodie and glasses on. Probably trying to stay out of sight.

"Persistence is key." Kai shrugged. I sighed and put my glasses on top of my head. I looked at Nova, she looked a little uncomfortable. Yeah, she knew them, but she knew me better. She rarely ever hung out with the 6 of them. Either that or she was crushing on Cole. Maybe both.

"Am I ever going to get some personal space?" I asked. Kai shook his head.

"Personal space ended when you signed up to be our sibling." He replied. I sighed again, and sat up properly. I gestured for him to continue.

"We've just been trying to apologize." He said.

"Yeah. We didnt know Wu was gonna make us do that." Jay put in.

"Wait, uh, Nova-?" Cole started.

"You attacked her for Knights training in the woods. And she kicked your asses. And now you won't leave her alone." She stated. I saw them give me a thankful look. "Not suprised. She's always been good at fighting."

"Wait, you knew she had been trained." Nya asked, keeping her voice low.

"Im the Elemental Master of the Sun. I can travel by light. Before I could control my Elemental powers, I would just randomly appear in a room. And one day I found your dad training her in the woods. Dont know how I got that far. But I swore I wouldn't tell anyone. The female rule is stupid." I face palmed. They didn't know Ray is the one who trained me.

"OUR DAD?" Kai yelled.

"Oops." Nova said, laughinf nervously.

"Hold on. I would like to keep this conversations going." Kai said sternly. "Our father trained you?"

"Yeah." I said. Giving up at this point.

"And you never told us?"

"No."

"Why did he tell us?" Nya asked.

"I asked him not to." I shrugged. "I didn't want to be seen different.

"Y/N. Look at me? I'm not seen differently." Nya argued.

"There's alot more to the story, Nya. Its not just that." I said. Great. This is not what I wanted. "Listen. It was my choice. I never expected that to happen. I just wanted self defense and got carried away. Ray was happy to teach me. But I was not training for the same reason Nya is. I just did it so I know. Nya is training for something else. Not me."

"But you still didn't tell us." Kai argued.

"And you didn't tell me a certain thing either. So we're equal." I snapped. I was getting tired of this. I stood up and grabbed my bags, Nova did the same. Probably eager to leave. "I have to go back to my quarters. I'll see you later." Nova waved politely before following me. Once we were clear of the group I let out a long, displeased grunt.

"The tension." Nova trailed off. "I never thought I'd see your group like that."

"Neither did I. But here we are. I just want some personal space. But no. They follow me everywhere." I complained.

"At least you know they love you."

That night went by quickly. I got back and put all my stuff away. Hung the shirts and stuff up and folded the pants. I showered early and got my pajamas on. And for the rest of the night I watched my favorite show on my computer.

They next day was a normal work day. I had tomorrow off again since it was my birthday.

I had my uniform on. The green blouse, black pencil skirt, hair in bun, nude heels, and a smile on my face. It was just a do random things day. Whatever needed to be done I did. Between cleaning, laundry and running errands around the Castle I was kept busy.

It was my break right now, and I was having lunch with Ray and Maya. Nya didn't have her break for another hour and a half.

I was telling them about what happened yesterday. But I obviously left out the Lloyd and smooches part.

"Well, seems like the 7 of you have quite the problem going on." Ray said.

"What do I do?" I asked. "Theres not much I can think of without giving me away."

"Just let time do its thing." Maya said with all her wisdom. "Anyway, its almost your birthday."

"18 years old!" Ray exclaimed. "Your growing up so fast." I gave a heart filled laugh and smile at them.

"A legal adult." I pointed out.

"Oh hush. You're still a baby." Maya teased.

"Tomorrow I was gonna let you watch the training tomorrow. It's an open one so there will be a few people from the town that come and watch to. But you get to sit with us again." Ray said.

"Can't wait."
