《The New Girls Alter Ego || Lloyd Garmadon X Reader》Chapter 4: Halloween? Day of the Departed? Secrets?

Finished: 7/25/19
Today was Halloween. However, here it's called Day of the Departed. It's more of a professional holiday here, almost exactly like Dia de los Muertos. Unlike almost everyone, I didnt have a dead person in my family to celebrate, and if I did I wouldnt because of obvious reasons. And this holiday was also for spending time with family. But there was also trick or treating. There was just alot going on. We we're sitting at the lunch table, Kai and Nya were in a heavy argument over some stupid sibling shit again. Cole added sarcastic comments and continued to listen to music. Jay and Zane didnt really say anything, probably to scared to get in the crossfire. And me and Lloyd just laughed occasionally at them.
It continued until the bell rang for the next period. And Nya ranted about it while we walked to 6th. I just shook my head at her.
"I just dont get it. How can one be so stupid." She groaned.
"That stupid is your brother." I teased. She just groaned again. We both sat down in our seats and waited for the other students to pile in.
"Anyway. Are you coming trick or treating with us?" She asked taking out her notebook.
"Uhh, arent we a little old for that. Plus no offense but I dont think anyone is gonna give us candy." I said.
"Oh. We just walk around really. Dress up and have fun. We go to our own homes and celebrate our lost ones, then we all meet up and go out. We should totally match tonight!" She said.
"Ok, ok. I have just the idea." I smirked.
🐲🖤🐲
Me and Lloyd were sitting in class waiting for the bell to ring. We honestly shouldn't of even had school today. No one did anything. Just Halloween crafts and Halloween related activities. I got corrected everytime I didnt say Day of The Departed. I'm going to continue to say Halloween though because Day of The Departed was so long. Me and Lloyd were playing a card game called Gin. Lloyd was really smart and this game was mostly strategy, with a hint of luck. I was sure I was gonna win till he put his card upside down. I groaned. He just layed out his cards. He had diamond Jack, Queen, King run. A set of three 7's. And last all 4 aces.
"Damn you! I needed that Ace of Hearts and I would have won!" I said slamming my cards on the table in frustration. He just laughed.
"I have good strategies." He said as he shuffled the cards.
"No. I'm not playing and losing again. Let's just play war. That way I have a 50% chance." I grumbled. "I have been undefeated in that game and you and your smart ass come around and ruin my streak."
"Alright. Anyway, are you gonna walk around with me and the gang tonight." He asked. The bell then rang so Lloyd just put the cards away. We grabbed out bags and started the long walk across campus to out lockets.
"Yeah. Me and Nya are gonna match our costumes." I said.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yup."
"Are you gonna tell me what it is?" Lloyd questioned.
"You're gonna have to wait until tonight, Garmadon." I teased. He just shook his head and laughed. It was a few seconds before he cleared his throat in a nervous manner.
"So I was wondering." He started, he had also stopped walking. We weren't in the middle of the hallway, thankfully. I stopped and gave him my full attention.

"Yes?"
"If you wanted take maybe walk around with me tonight?" He asked, he was extremely nervous and his face was red. It was so cute. I knitted my brows and smiled.
"Just you an me?"
"Yeah. Unless you dont want to." He replied.
"Lloyd-"
"I mean, I dont know what-"
"Lloyd-"
"We will do. We can break off from the group and go on our own-"
"Lloyd!" He listened that time and shut his mouth.
"Sorry." He said, smiling nervously. I smiled brightly at him.
"Well for one. Is this a date?" I teased. If it was possible, his face got even more red.
"If you want it to be?" He said, more as a question. I pecked his cheek.
"I would love to go on a date with you. Now come on, we have to meet the others." I said. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to our lockers where the others were waiting.
"Its about time. You take forever." Kai complained. Nya noticed our hands still intertwined, and smirked at me. U just glared at her, hoping no one would point it out so we could enjoy the moment.
"Well, we should all go. Our families are waiting. See you guys tonight." Nya said winking at me. I gave her a thankful smile and she dragged Kai out by his ear. The others left too, and me and Lloyd followed. We kept our hands intertwined the whole way home. We were walking, not even bothering with the bus, so when we passed by a busy bus stop, people started whispering. Lloyd lowered his head, ashamed and started to pull his hand away. I had become quite the talk recently, after Adrien left people noticed me as the Parisian who models for the Agrestes and hangs out with the last cool people. So I got alot of weird stares. I glared at everyone who gave him a look. Noticing Lloyd's hand pulling away, I squeezed his hand reassuringly. I also got close enough to his side to lean my head on his broad shoulders. I honestly dont even remember when we crossed the border between shy friends and borderline dating. It's just kinda happened. Laying his my head on his shoulder, I could smell his cologne.
Seriously, hes beefy and fit. I mean, he could easily fight back but I know deep inside it would only make his situation worse.
I felt him tense as I showed more of this affection in public. I had layed my head on Lloyd's shoulder quite alot. At home if we were watching a movie I always kinda cuddled his side. It was like we had this invisible relationship and we never said anything about it. Until today when Lloyd asked me on a date. Of course sometimes I layed my head in his lap while it was movie night, and sometime he layed his head in mine. But those were our movie nights, not movies with the gang, just the two of us and the Avengers. I always preferred those nights dispite loving my friends. Those were nights that I fell more in love with him. He would play with my hair if I was laying on his lap, and I would play with his when he was laying on my lap.
Dispite being the son of a villain, he gave off a very comfortable feeling, similar to Adrien's comfortable presence - not to Mari - but I prefer Lloyd. Sorry Adrien.
"Are you celebrating anyone?" I asked breaking the silence.

"No. Not really anyone to celebrate. It's always been me and my mom. You?" He answered.
"Nope. Halloween never really was celebrated for us they way it is here. Hence why I keep calling it Halloween." I answered. I lifted my head from his shoulder but kept holding his hand as we entered the lobby of the appartment building. We entered a elevator, which only had a mom her child. She noticed Lloyd and quickly excited. Lloyd put his head back down and pull his hand away before I could react. He leaned against the wall and just stared at the floor. I frowned, only being here 2 months and there wasnt anything I wouldnt do to make him happy or make him feel accepted. And in those 2 months I found a huge difference in Ninjagos people and the people of Paris. Everyone here is pretty damn rude. And I sure as hell know rude. But your average person here was almost as bad as Chloè's worst days on a day-to-day basis. I honestly felt bad for everyone who hated Lloyd and our friends. They are some of the most kind people I know, dispite everyone pushing them down. Sure, Lloyd showed his anger and sadness to his dad in his own ways, but he has so much control over himself. Like I had said before, the guy is fit as hell. And he could easily beat the crap out of Chen. Everyone of them could. Yet they stood still.
I do not have that level of self control. Chloè's nose says all. And Lilas hair.
I frowned even more as I saw him rub his eyes. Something he did when he was sad, his version of tearing up. So I walked straight up to him, wrapped my arms around his chest and hugged him. The side of my face rested against his shoulder area, his scent that I had grown to love was always stronger there. He sighed, and wrapped his arms around me and rested his head on mine. I closed my eyes in content.
They say you cant love someone so quick. But I had no doubt in my mind that I loved this boy - more like man.
Lloyd brought one of his hands and started combing his fingers through my hair. Massaging my scalp too. My body responded by melting into him more. I buried my face into his neck, his scent filling my nose. He kissed the top of my head before brushing the hair that was covering my face out of the way. He smiled down at me. I smiled back and lifted my head up. We just stared into each others eyes for a while, until the stupid elevator said we were at our floor. He kissed my forehead before pulling away. I again intertwined our hands as we walked to the appartment. It was farther back due to us being the corner of the building, my room to be specific. The apartments were pretty big which also put alot of space between each door. We got in front of our door, having to break our hands so Lloyd could get the key to unlock the door. When he did, he held it open for me, like a gentleman.
"Thank you, kind sir." I teased.
"You're welcome, young lady." He teased back. I just snorted at his attempt to tease me back.
"I'm about 2 months younger than you Lloyd." I said, grabbing a cookie from the jar.
"But you are a kid at heart." He said, taking a cookie too.
"Ah. You got me there." I said, holding a hand over my heart dramatically. He just let out a mixture between a snort and a chuckle. "You wanna watch something in my room while we wait for the others?" I asked.
"Sure. I've actually never seen your room. Just glimpses when you actually have your door open." He teased. I rolled my eyes at him.
"You mean to tell me you never snooped?"
"No. Why should I? You have your own boundaries." My heart fluttered.
"Well, thank you for not snooping." I said as I opened to door to my room. He entered after me, stopping to take the whole room in. I shut the door behind me. He saw the pictures.
"Can I look?" He asked. I nodded. He was curious. Not that I blame him, I never really opened up or talked about my friends in Paris. He approached the wall between the two reading nooks, where most of my pictures were hung. He looked at them, smiling. I stood next to him, smiling at all the memories. He pointed to a photo of me, Mari, Alya, Nino and Adrien. One that we had taken before I left when we all hung out.
"I only recognize Adrien, who are the others?" He asked.
"That's Nino, hes pretty much just like Cole. In music anyhow. That's Alya, my best friend who runs a blog on the Superheros of Paris. And that's Mari. My first best friend and my longest friend. Shes an inspiring fashion designer." I said, pointing to each of my friends. He then turned his attention to the picture I had of the Miraculous League.
"These are your heros?"
"Yeah. That's Ladybug, as you know. That's Rena Rouge, the Miraculous I borrowed taking Chen down. The Carapace, Cat Noir and Queen Bee." I rolled my eyes as I said her name.
"Why the attitude." He teased.
"Well, Miss Queen Bee here didnt earn a Miraculous like the rest. She kinda stole it and transformed into her heroin self in front of so many people. And remember when I said I had my own versions of Chen?" He nodded. "Queen Bee, is Chloè Bourgeois the schools version of Chen. She also so happens to be the Mayors daughter. So shes kinda untouchable." I explained. He gave me an amused look.
"If shes the Mayors daughter, she is untouchable. Not kinda. What did you do?"
"I punched her in the nose." He gave me wide eyes.
"Her nose actually straightened out, thanks to me. So I wasnt sued or anything. But I never got a thank you."
"You're unbelievable. Anyway, you didnt mention this Dragon girl."
"That's Dragonne." I smiled. "Who also happens to be Wolf. She has two Miraculous'."
"Huh. Ingesting." He said. "I swear I've seen her before." I wasnt scared he was gonna find out who I was. Mostly because the Miraculous has magic that makes who we are painfully oblivious. I wouldnt be scared if he did for another reason, because I didn't care. Apart of me wanted to tell him who I was, to let him know a superhero loved him. But then again, that seemed like a bad idea. Not to mention my kwamis would kill me. He smiled and walked over to the picture on my nightstand. My favorite one of me, Mari, and Alya. One that was taken the first day we met. Well, me and Mari met Alya.
"You look so little." He commented.
"That was on the first day of freshman year." I said. He set the photo down.
"Do you have anymore photos?" I eyed him suspiciously.
"Yes. But why?"
"I would like to see them. You havent really talked about your home that much and I wanna know more." I smiled at his sweetness.
"As long as you bring some too." I said.
"Alright. I'm sure my mom has a stash somewhere." He joked leaving the room. I set my backpack down and let my kwamis out.
"Go get some food." They nodded and left the room. I went into my closet and grabbed my photo book. All the photos I had up were actually in this book, but most of the others were ones I printed off my Polaroid Zip, a bluetooth printer prints prints photos from your phone. It was a trash printer, or maybe the one I got, but it still was able to print all my favorite pictures. When I walked out of my closet, Lloyd was on my bed leaning against the headboard. I noticed he didnt close the door, so I did. A huge pet peeve of mine. Lloyd had his photo album on my nightstand, waiting for me to pry through it. I grabbed his and put mine in its place, wanting to go through his first. I stuck myself between his legs, not sitting on them. I leaned against his chest, relaxing into him. His arms wrapped around my waist, tugging me closer as his head rested against mine. I opened the book and was met with baby Lloyd all swaddled up.
"Awww you're so cute." I cooed. There was only 4 pictures a page in this standard photo album. Just wait till he sees mine.
The next hour or so was spent listening to Lloyd's stories as we flipped through the book. My heart swelled every story. I couldn't help it. I was being turned into mush by him. And I dont know how many times I would have to think this before I told him. But there is nothing I wouldnt do to make him happy and feel appreciated. Because a good amount of stories were sad. When he was little, when ever he went trick or treating everyone just slammed the door in his face. I could practically see his big green eyes tearing up at being shunned. And that broke my heart.
"Your turn." He said as we finished his book. He grabbed it and threw it on the floor, and grabbed mine. He leaned forward more to get a better look, his cheek at my temple.
He started flipping thought the colorful and heavily decorated pages. I told him the stories he wanted to know. However, when we got do my 8th grade section - them being in order of my age - I felt him frown as he saw the pages of me and my ex. There was a picture of me laughing while he held me and kissed my cheek. And there was one with us kissing.
"Who's that?"
"Some cheating douche." I replied. I took both photos out and ripped them up, sticking the remained on the floor. "Thank you, Next!" He just snorted and kissed my temple, obviously pleased.
Once we had finished my book, I stuck it back on the nightstand. And me and Lloyd just held each other's embrace. We were the definition of an invisible relationship. I didn't dare say anything, or move, scared to lose this.
"One day, I'm going to bring you back to Paris." He said. I smiled. I brought my right hand to hold the right side of his face and I turned my head to kiss his cheek. I held the cheek kiss and let my lips linger before I pulled away. He turned to me smiling. The hand that was holding his face was now in his hair.
It was like time stopped. His eyes started to fall, his face leaning in. I followed his actions. Our lips slightly agape, prepared to kiss and we were just barely there.
But Nya came barging in.
"I got the stuff you asked for. Including the stuff for the guys." When she looked up she saw her two friends on opposite ends of bed, red faced. "What?" Lloyd cleared his throat, getting up and giving me an apologetic look.
"I guess that's my que to get ready as well." He said, going to to door. I followed.
"Yeah. I should to. And hey, khaki shorts and a green button up." I said. He nodded before turning to his room, where I guess the guys were two. I turned slowly to my friend who had a confused look on her face.
"Lloyd and I were about to kiss!" I whisper-yelled. She groaned and slapped her face.
"Sorry, Y/N."
🐲🖤🐲
While getting ready, me and Nya jammed out to The Fold, and sometimes Jagged Stone. I had straightened my hair, and added my dark purple devil horn headband. I let my face layers out from the headband and let them frame my face. Nya straightened her hair too, but put it in a half up half down style. Her devil horn headband was a navy blue. I did my makeup and hers, I had a purple smokey eye and she had a blue smokey eye. See a pattern? I also added one of those cool makeup designs and added the devil tail along our left eyebrows. And well, mine was dark purple and hers was navy blue. I added mascara and eye liner, and pushed her to my closet to change into the dress. She came out in her dress, and I changed into mine. We put on the Velvet Gabriel Agreste dresses, of course. I put on my black strappy stilettos, another wise known as toothpicks.
I normally wouldnt do this, but its Halloween. And I had a date. Nya put her heels on too, groaning about this being alot of effort. I just snickered as I stood up.
"Alright, poofy jacket or leather jacket?" I asked.
"Let's do leather. It's still warm out." She said taking her leather jacket. I put mine on and we posed in front on the mirror. I took the picture. Definitely a keeper.
