《The Tale Of Lloyd Garmadon》10

"Hey, Lloyd," Kai began as he walked into the room he and Lloyd had shared for a week now. "So I know you don't want to be near your uncle, but, do you think maybe you could eat dinner with everyone, you'd only have to be in the same room as him, you don't even have to talk to him."
Lloyd looked up from the comic he'd been reading. "Do I have to?"
"No, you don't have to, but we're all kind of getting worried that you're, maybe not eating all that much..."
"Kai, the reason for that, would be I haven't have a stable source of food in like three years, of course I'm not eating much. My stomach can't hold that much." Lloyd shrugged. "You guys can't expect me to go from starving on the streets to eating an entire plate of food in one week."
".... So are you gonna eat with everyone or do I need to bring your food in here?"
"Fine, but if my uncle tries to talk to me, I'm gonna insult him."
"Works for me." Kai shrugged as Lloyd got up. The two headed to the dining room.
"Jay, I've told you a million times, we aren't immune to our elements!" Cole argued with Jay as Kai and Lloyd entered the dining room. "For example, you electrocuted yourself on accident, last week!"
Jay and Cole continued to argue as Lloyd and Kai sat down, at the opposite end of the table was Wu. Lloyd sat silently as the ninja talked to each other around him. This was a bad idea. I hate this. I want to leave. Thoughts flooded Lloyd's head as Zane placed a plate of food in front of the blond. "Lloyd?" I don't like it. "Lloyd, are you okay?" I want to go back to my bed. I want to be alone.

"Nephew?" Lloyd's head snapped up to look at Wu. "Are you alright?"
Be confident dumbass, act like you're fine. Remember what he did. What did he do? He wasn't the one who left me at Darkly's. That was mom. But he let her. He let her leave me there. He didn't care about me until I became a problem. "I'm fine." Lloyd mumbled as he grabbed a fork off the table and ate a little. Pathetic. Kai was about to speak, when the lights began to flicker, and wind blew open the windows. "What the-"
"Morro found the Bounty, Kai, get Lloyd out of here, now!" Wu shouted to Kai. "The rest of you, get ready to fight!"
"C'mon Lloyd." Kai spoke as he got up, before the wind pushed him into the wall.
"Kai!" Lloyd exclaimed before going to help Kai up.
"Could have sworn you said you didn't like me." Kai joked as he led Lloyd out of the dining room.
"And I could have sworn that you were going to make sure this ghost thing didn't find me!"
"That's fair." Kai muttered, before a shout came from the dining room. "C'mon, we're gonna hide you in the bathroom."
"Why?"
".... Ghosts can't touch water..."
"Okay, but-" Soon Lloyd was sitting in the shower, with the water on, still fully clothed. "Y'know, I don't know what I was expecting..."
Kai occasionally would poke his head out the bathroom door. "I think you're gonna be safe in here." Kai looked over at Lloyd. "I never realized how tiny you actually were."
"Heh?" Lloyd looked down, one of the shirts he'd borrowed from Jay was clinging to him, because y'know. Wet. "Oh yeah. That's why I usually wear massive clothes, like my hoodie? I learned to sew entirely to make it bigger so it wouldn't be skin tight. That and I like it when sleeves are too long and they flop when you swing your arms." Lloyd smiled a bit before the bathroom door was blown off its hinges. There, was Morro, the ghost looked to have been around Lloyd's age, no doubt the age he'd died at. At first the black haired ghost had had an angry face, but it turned to confusion when he spotted Lloyd, fully clothed sitting on the floor of the shower, with it on. "Hi." Lloyd shrugged, and waving a little.

"Wh... What're you doing?" Morro questioned.
"Kai said ghosts can't touch water, and then he told me to sit in the shower, and then he turned it on." Lloyd shrugged again, distracting Morro as Kai filled a cup with water. "I dunno."
"That is.... A weirdly effective solution." Morro mumbled just before Kai splashed him with the cup of water, getting rid of the ghost.
"Cool. It worked." Kai grinned.
"Well that was fun, but now I'm cold." Lloyd complained as he got up and turned off the sink.
"You'll dry." Lloyd looked Kai dead in the eye, and flicked water at him. "Hey!"
"You'll dry." Lloyd smirked.
"You're on Blondie!"
And so, they fought, with water. And then Kai got in trouble for making a mess in the bathroom, Lloyd yelled at Wu for getting mad at Kai, an argument began, and then Lloyd stormed off to wait until the Bounty landed so he could leave but then Wu tried to make it so they didn't hand for a week, so Lloyd nearly strangled his uncle, but in the end Nya landed the Bounty and Lloyd got to leave, so no one died.... Except Morro.

Addorn: "The Freed of The Void"
Have you ever wondered why the Dwarves in games, movies, and comics, were so great at developing weapons or in some cases creating technology that was so far ahead of their time? Or even why they seemed ruthless and resilient, always somehow surviving even if it meant living underground to survive? And also why were they always in most cases described as greedy for gold or other luxuries? This is the story of the legendary race and the truth behind these stories that followed after this tale. The story begins with the Humans finding out the earth will be decimated, by a cataclysmic event that had happened millions of years ago, in 2 years time. Followed by the awakening of a man, or in this case an infant boy, reborn into a world of myths, legends, and fantasy, only to be a King of legendary proportions.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized

AMETHYST BOOK 1 - Words~ 76,310Harry Potter X ReaderThe Philosopher's Stone In which the reader, Y/N Evangeline Amethyst, the last remaining descendant of the pure-blood Amethyst family line, meets the Boy Who Lived. This book will revolve around the growing friendship between you and the Golden Trio, as I feel quite uncomfortable declaring any kind of relationship otherwise between two children of so young. Their romantic relationship will blossom further later in the series, most likely the third book rather than first. I still suggest reading the first and second though for lore purposes and character and relationship progression.Enjoy 🌻Sinclair
