《The Tale Of Lloyd Garmadon》9

It had been a few months since Chen's defeat, he'd been sent to the cursed realm as punishment for what he'd been trying to do, and the elemental masters resumed their lives. "I didn't know you were confident enough that you wouldn't be spotted by one of us, to the point where you just decided to sit in the middle of Ninjago City in broad daylight Lloyd." Lloyd heard from behind him as he sat on a park bench eating a burger he'd swiped from someone's order at a nearby fast food joint. He glanced behind him. Kai.
"Go away." The blond grumbled as he grabbed a pickle off the burger and threw it at Kai.
"What, do you not like pickles?" Kai laughed as he sat next to Lloyd anyway.
"Nah, I just don't like you."
"So the whole thing you said right before you, y'know, stopped Chen-"
"I'm not telling you my goddamn backstory Kai." Lloyd grumbled before taking a bite of his stolen lunch. "Besides, shouldn't you be trying to drag me back to my uncle?"
"Uh..." Kai began. "Actually... Yeah..."
"Thought so." Lloyd started grabbing his stolen food.
"Hold on." Kai grabbed Lloyd's arm before he could leave. "Apparently some ghost got out of the Cursed Realm when Chen got sent there. According to Wu the ghost is his old student Morro, and Wu thinks he's gonna come after you."
"And why would this 'Morro' do that?"
"He wanted to be the Green Ninja when he was alive."
"And what does that have to do with me?"
"....Remember how I said that maybe there was a reason other than destruction that you have powers?"
"Are you fucking kidding me? I'm not a fucking Ninja."
"I know, but there's this whole prophecy thing, and the only way to know for sure is by seeing if the elemental weapons react... To you... Because it's not any of us... And your powers are green..."

"What's this ghost gonna do if he is actually after me anyway?"
"Probably possess you, so he can 'Be the green ninja'."
"Riiiiight...."
"Listen, I'm not gonna make you come with me, okay?"
"To the Bounty?"
"Yeah, I won't make you come."
Lloyd thought for a minute. "Would you be able to keep this ghost away from me?"
"We would defiantly try."
"Can you keep my uncle away from me if I come."
"I... I can try."
"Fine."
----------------
Kai lead Lloyd onboard the Destiny's Bounty, they were immediately seen by the other ninja and Nya. "He actually got Lloyd to come." Jay muttered to Cole, surprised.
Lloyd rolled his eyes. "Is it too late for me to just sort of, leave?" Lloyd asked Kai quietly. He could feel Jay, Cole, Zane, and Nya staring as he followed Kai towards the door that lead below deck.
"No, but we can't do much about Morro if we're not around you." Kai answered.
"They're staring at me." Lloyd mumbled as he fidgeted with his hoodie's sleeve.
Kai glanced back at the others. "Hey, Nya!" Kai called over to his sister.
"What're you-" Lloyd started to question as Nya walked over, stopping mid-sentence when Nya reached where he and Kai had stopped walking.
"Could you tell them to stop staring at him, and tell sensei he's here?" Kai asked. "Also, let sensei know that Lloyd doesn't want to be near him."
"Is that how you got him to come to the Bounty? Promising to get Sensei to stay away from him?" Nya questioned.
Lloyd shifted his weight a little, making the wood of the deck creek, drawing attention to himself, "shit..." He muttered quietly, the noise had caught everyone's attention again. He pulled his hoodie's hood up over his face. "Can you not?" He grumbled. Act confident. That's what they think you are. Dumbass.

A chorus of sorry's rang across the deck as Nya walked away to tell Wu about Lloyd. "C'mon man, follow me." Kai led Lloyd below deck, to a door. "There's not that many rooms, but there's an extra bed in my room you can use." Oh yaaay. Now we're roommates, because I have such good history with roommates. Lloyd thought as he followed Kai into the room, an empty bed was across the room from one that was covered in six pillows, nearly ten blankets, and an eye mask sat on one of the pillows. Lloyd snickered at the eye mask. "What? Is something funny?"
"You sleep with an eye mask on?" Lloyd questioned, trying not to laugh.
"Yes I do. It helps with sleep." Kai defended himself as Lloyd walked over and picked it up.
"Mhm, and does the sparkly bright red fabric also help with sleep?"
"Okay, stop with the mocking." Kai laughed as he took the mask from Lloyd. This might not be too bad. Lloyd thought. It's not like he's gonna be like Gene or Brad. "Do you have anywhere you need to go to get anything that belongs to you?"
"Kai I'm homeless."
"Right, I just wanted to make sure-"
"Kai I don't own anything." Lloyd laughed. "I haven't changed my clothes in literally a year."
"So that's what that smell is." Kai joked.
"Oh, so sorry that I don't smell like fucking roses or something." Lloyd laughed quietly.
"If you need, you can borrow some of my clothes, and clean your hoodie and stuff." Kai paused. "But Jay's clothes might fit better and be less giant on you." Lloyd looked down at his outfit. His hoodie that he'd had for years, and had fixed to make much bigger then he actually needed for it to fit him, the dark colored jeans that he'd word for so long that they were practically falling apart, the same with his bright red sneakers the soles of which were falling off and were being kept on with some duct tape that he'd stolen. No matter what, it's all gonna be too big. They're all actually a healthy weight, and I don't need these people pretending to care about my underweight ass anymore than they already are. "I'll go ask Jay if you can borrow some clothes." Kai left. Maybe they're not pretending? Maybe they actually care? Lloyd sat down on the empty bed. No they don't. Why would they? I've been nothing but a piece of shit ever since they met me. He pushed a hand through his hair. It was knotted, and all over the place, not to mention greasy, it hadn't been washed in a while. I haven't given them a reason to care, so why would they? Because they're so-called good people? Kai reentered the room with a t-shirt and some jeans in his hand. "Hey, Jay said you could borrow these, they're too small for him, so they shouldn't be too big." But what if they do care for some reason? What if they decided, "Hey, we're gonna care about this little piece of shit, and be worried that he'll get hurt." But that's ridiculous, they don't have a reason to worry about that. "Lloyd? You okay?" Kai walked over and waved a hand in front of Lloyd's face, snapping him out of his thoughts. "You good?"
"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." Kai handed the blond the clothes. "Laundry Room's down the hall, when you wash your clothes make sure you don't toss it in with Zane's. I did that once and he did not appreciate being the Pink Ninja for a week." Kai joked.

Permanight (Hiatus)
The world of Mecc has fallen into permanent night. Monsters roam the countryside, the sun refuses to rise, and towns and cities alike are falling into disarray. Their only hope is the ancient prophecy, which says a hero of light will emerge to save humanity in their darkest hour... 20 years from now. Too little, too late for those living now. In the midst of the the apocalypse, college student Oscar McAllister finds himself out of a job and out of luck. After accidentally ending up slaying a daemon on his way to get the groceries however, Oscar is haplessly drawn into the world of adventuring and questing, and with the old world falling apart - Oscar becomes one of the many tasked with trying to hold everything together. As he fights however, he is forced to face not just the evil that lurks in the shadows: but the indifference that lurks in people’s hearts. The world is playing a waiting game with human lives, and Oscar is caught right in the middle of it. Note: This is a dark LitRPG story, with dungeons, levelling, and quests in a contemporary setting. Permanight is currently on hiatus while I prepare a rewrite based on the current feedback I've recieved. I'm sorry for the bad news, but I want to bring the world to life in a way that feels real, and at the moment - I'm not entirely convinced that I'm doing that.

“You created me, a being of far greater capacity than you could have imagined at a price beyond your nightmares. Now you are lost, wandering through a desolate land, searching blindly. Seeking something you yourself are not aware of, a place where a lifetime of memories should be, but instead an empty abyss resides.-” After I disconnected my finger from the drive it shifted back into its original form and a single thought roared through my mind. ‘What did I do?'

When Ryan Glasser, (an emo kid by heart) kills himself after having a good day at school turn horribly bad, he is forced to stand before his maker for final judgment of his soul. With Ryan Thinking life was just a game he could just end and throw away without any consequences, he is offered a deal to live his next life in a real-life RPG world full of swords, magic, misery, memes, and Mondays with nothing to help him along the way but a magical cellphone full of his music to get by in his afterlife. A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Well first of all, this “Server” is in a nightmarish beta stage that has two trapped goddesses engaged in an everlasting brutal holy war between each other that has recently turned into a stalemate. Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
