Lloyd was the only one left, Garmadon had, had to stop to fight Clouse, and Nya had fought off several enemies and gotten held up. Now Lloyd was alone, in a dark hallway, until he spotted some light up ahead. "Ah shit." He mumbled as he hid behind a column near the wall. He got ready to fight, green electricity crackling around his fists, the person passed where Lloyd was. It was Kai. "Shit Kai, I was going to electrocute you." Lloyd spoke up, scaring Kai.
"Lloyd, how did you-" Kai began.
"Uh, before you finish, better question, how did you escape?"
"I snuck away when they weren't looking." Kai replied, his eyes flicking away as he spoke.
"You? Without your friends?" Lloyd questioned. "Bullshit."
"What'ddya mean Bullshit Lloyd?"
"You're way too loyal to abandon your friends. Even if it's just temporarily."
"And how would you know that?"
"Oh please, don't try to tell me what I do and don't know. What're you up to?" Lloyd questioned, "You're no good at lying so just tell the truth."
"And who says I'm lying?"
"I do. You know how I know?" Lloyd spoke angrily. "You can't hold eye contact and keep glancing at the same spot on the wall behind me to avoid looking into my eyes when you lie, your voice is changing pitch every few sentences, and you're fidgeting with your pant leg, which I assume is anxiety because you, are lying."
"Let's say I am, why would I lie?"
"My guess is Chen made some deal with you, probably your freedom, your friends' freedom, and your sister's safety if you drag me down and help him get my powers." Lloyd answered, Kai glanced away from Lloyd, at the wall again. "That's what I thought."

"Lloyd listen-" Kai whispered glancing down the hall.
"I don't wanna hear it. I'm not getting dragged down."
"Lloyd I have a plan-"
"I don't care." Lloyd grumbled. "I've never trusted you people, and I certainly don't now."
"I just need to break the staff he's been using to steal peoples' powers Lloyd."
"Good Luck with that." Lloyd replied before moving past Kai and heading further down the hall.
"Lloyd you can't go in there!" Kai spoke as he rushed after Lloyd, stopping him at the doors that lead to where Chen and his cult were waiting.
"And why's that Kai? Are they in there? Waiting to steal my powers "
Kai blinked a few times. "...Again?"
Lloyd rolled his eyes and tried to get past Kai. "Just forget I said that, it's not like you actually care anyway."
"Yes I fucking do Lloyd!" Kai yelled quietly as he grabbed Lloyd's arm.
"No you fucking !" Lloyd shouted as he ripped his arm away from Kai. "" He scowled as he finished. "Not a single person has actually cared about me. Not , not , not . Now move out of my way, so I can fix the shit that's gone down, so I don't get fucking killed on someone else's terms." Lloyd pushed past Kai and shoved open the doors. The room was full of bad guys.
"Young Garmadon came on his own." Chen raised an eyebrow.
Lloyd stomped his heel into the ground, Ice covered the floor of the room. "Let everyone go Chen."
"And why would I listen to you, my followers out number you."
"Seems they're pretty bad at ice skating though." Lloyd smirked as the cultists slipped and slid on the ice around him.

Chen looked at his followers. "Get him!"
"." Lloyd yelled angrily as he glared, his eyes turned red for a minute before he threw fire at Chen's hand, making him drop the Staff.
"My staff!" Chen exclaimed angrily as the staff clattered on the frozen floor.
Lloyd walked across the room, making the ice melt and refreeze as he walked. He took the staff, looked up at Chen. "You should've been more careful as to who's powers you tried to steal." He shattered the staff against the ground, and as the elemental powers returned to their masters, he burned the remains of the staff. "Asshat."

"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me. 8 99The Humanity Initiative (discontinued)
Virtual gaming has been around for ages. Many live their entire lives online, not caring about what’s left of the real world. The few who do, fear nuclear annihilation. The risk of an unfortunate chain reaction is too large to ignore, but as of now, prevention is impossible. Humanity, in its biological form, would never survive as it is. That’s why the UN has its full focus on “The Humanity Initiative”. The field of genetics shows promising results, but are years from ready. If bombs were to fly tomorrow, something must survive. Recent VR technology has a potential candidate for that something.Farah Al Farzha never plays online, she loathes the very idea of it. She is in love with reality, and competitive fencing is her way to prove it. But when she reluctantly went online, she couldn’t exit, or at least a copy of her consciousness couldn’t.Human, but juridically speaking no more, Farah struggles in a game that would’ve been illegal. To her only consolation, the game is modeled after reality, a place foreign to the gaming brats around her. But what demands do the UN put on potential ‘human’ survivor candidates, and how will natural selection be replaced, when reality is no more? _______________________________________________________________________
