《Lloyd Garmadon x Male Reader |Just My Type|》Chapter 7: School Fight
Advertisement
It was the next day at school. I gathered all of my books and headed to my first class. Lloyd was there before me, as usual. I'm still debating whether or not I should tell him that I was given the offer to become The Wind Ninja. I feel like if I do tell him, he'll try to tell me that I should take up the offer, and I don't want anyone to cloud my judgement. I don't want anyone to have an impact on my decision but me.
But that doesn't matter right now. I set my books down on my desk, then come and sit by Lloyd before the bell rings.
"Hey Lloyd," I greet, rather unenthusiastically. I really didn't get much sleep last night, so I'm pretty low on energy.
"Hey... are you okay? You seem tired," he asks with concern.
I yawn, "yeah, I didn't get a very good night's rest. My mom was on my ass as soon as I got home, so I took a nap, but when I woke up, it was like, eleven o' clock, so I couldn't sleep during the night," I explain.
"Really? What was your mom mad about?" He asks.
"Ehh... she didn't like that I was out with you and I didn't tell her where I was and we got into a bit of an argument," I tell him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"
"It's fine. You didn't do anything wrong. It's my fault for not telling her," I cut him off.
"But I-"
"Shut up, you didn't do anything wrong," I cut him off again.
"Okay... I just don't want you to get in trouble because of me..." he sighs.
"You're fine. I'm really okay. I'm not in trouble or anything," I try to lessen his worry.
"Alright then. Did you want to come up to my house today? I was thinking we could watch another movie or play video games or something... after you ask your mom if it's okay, of course," he smiles.
"Sure. Sounds fun. But I still want to head home after school just to tell my mom where I am. Then I'll head to your house," I say.
Lloyd nods his head in agreement.
We try to continue our convorsation, but then Chen enters the classroom. It seems like everytime we try to just talk and have fun, he has to ruin it.
Chen and I have a locked gaze. Just staring at each other with the same menacing glare. I haven't spoken to Chen since our last encounter in the hallway, so the tension is high. Chen stands still at the door way as we silently judge each other. Lloyd just watches. Chen then begins to walk toward his desk, which is a desk away from Lloyd's. My eyes follow him as to make sure he doesn't pull anything stupid. Chen takes a seat at his desk and pretends to ignore us.
"So... a-anyway... I was thinking we could watch Starfarer later. It's my favorite-" Lloyd tried to start the conversation back up until he was hit in the back of the head with a paper ball. I pick it up and unfold it.
It was a note. The note had a bunch of different writings on it. All different hand writing, different colors of pen, and in different sizes. It looks to have been written by at least 20 people. The whole note was littered with mean words and comments.
"Go away, Garmadon."
"Kill yourself."
"Nobody wants you here."

"Fuck off, f*ggot."
These were just a few. At the bottom it read "-The Whole Class."
I didn't let Lloyd see the paper. I just stood up and went to stand infront of Chen's desk. I slam the paper down infront of him.
"What the fuck is this?" I almost scream.
"A note. I figured Lloyd would like to know how everyone really felt about him," he smirked.
I bend down to his level and grab him but his jacket and yank him forward. "I swear to God, Chen, if something like this happens again, I'll-"
"(Y/N), quit!" Lloyd yells.
I stop and stare at Lloyd, then back to Chen. He has that same, stupid, fucking smile on his face. I squeeze his shirt even harder before letting go and returning to my seat at the back of the class. Students then begin to fill the room and the bell rings. I'm not looking forward to the rest of today.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Lunch grew nearer as I sat in my third period class, staring at the clock, waiting for the bell to ring. I was just ready to get out of this stupid class and see Lloyd again. I watched as the second hand ticked by until it finally made it's way to the top of the clock again and the bell rang.
Without hesitation, I grab my things, leave the classroom, take my shit to my locker and go to meet Lloyd at his locker.
When I approach Lloyd at his locker, he kind of has his face inside of it. Like he's crying or something.
"...Lloyd... is something wrong?" I ask.
I still can't see his face behind his locker door.
"I'm good! Everything's good!" I can see him bring his hand up to his face and adjust a piece of hair before closing his locker and looking at me with a forced smile.
"Lloyd... why do you have your hair covering one eye?" I ask with a tone of worry. He had a single lock of hair hanging gently over his left eye.
"I don't know. Bad hair day, I guess," he says as he shrugs.
"Your hair looked fine this morning... Lloyd, what's wrong?" I lift my hand up to brush the hair out of his eye. He flinched and tried to pull away, but I still managed to brush the golden lock to the side.
Lloyd lets out a sigh of defeat. I see his left eye bruised and purple.
"Jesus, Lloyd, what the Hell happened to you?" I ask frantically.
"Nothing, I just... ran into a door," he makes up an excuse.
"Lloyd," I say his name in a tone of voice that tells him I know he's lying.
He sighs again, "I went to use the bathroom, but Chen was there and he... well... He didn't like me being there I guess..." he explains, staring at the ground.
"He hit you?" I ask, pure rage settling in my voice.
"Well, yeah, but- please don't say anything about it!" He begs.
I can't help myself but to just shake in anger.
"What the fuck!? What the Hell is his fucking problem!?" I yell. At this point, everyone around me is hearing me yell.
"Where is that cunt? I'm gonna kill him," I begin to storm off in the direction of his locker.
"(Y/N), no! Don't!" Lloyd trails behind me, but he knows I'm running on pure rage and adrenaline and he doesn't want to get in my way.

I scavenge around the halls, looking for that dumbass. Finally I see him standing around his locker with his little group of bimbos. I walk up and shove him, sending him stumbling back a little.
"The Hell is your problem, dude?!" I yell. As soon as these words escape my mouth, a hoard of people stand around to watch the drama, including Lloyd.
"What are you talking about?" He begins to get defensive.
"You know what you did, dumbass. Don't play stupid," I get closer to him.
"Hey, maybe you guys should-" Kai tries to intervene and prevent us from yelling, but to no avail.
"Whatever you think I did probably never happened. You're delusional and this whole school knows it. You're the only one to actually hang out with Garmadon," he says, clearly referring to Lloyd.
"If you 'didn't do anything,' then why is Lloyd standing over there " I point to Lloyd as I speak. Lloyd just trembled at the sight of us argue.
The crowd of mindless watchers grows larger as we yell.
"He probably did it to himself for attention. That's all he ever does is cry and beg for attention. He isn't good for anything else," he answers and that signtiture grin grows on his face once again.
"You take that back," I shove him again. "You just don't want to admit you did it because you're afraid I'll kick your ass!" I yell as my face is so close to his that our faced are almost touching.
"Kick My ass? Pfft- I'd honestly like to see you tr-"
My fist hurdles toward his face as I deliver a solid punch to his jaw. He lets out a small yelp of pain as his hands shoot to his mouth in attempts to conceal his pain.
The crowd of people gasp and step back to give us room.
"Okay, that's enough, guys-" Kai attempts to stop us again. And again, he failed.
Chen charged at me with full force and delivered a punch to my cheek, so I hurl myself at him and begin to throw as many punches as I can.
"(Y/N), knock it off!" Lloyd yells, but I don't listen.
I punch him and he continues to punch me. I see blood run from his mouth and nose.
I see a teacher out of the corner of my eye attempt to come split us up, but I know it will take him a while to get through this crowd, so I keep going.
I deliver one of the hardest pushes I could ever muster up and his body is thrown to the ground. I jump on top of him and just go all out. Hitting him as hard as I can.
"Get this freak off me!" He screams.
Kai grabs me by my arms and attempts to pull me off, but I resist. He's not strong enough compared to my fury of complete rage.
Then Lloyd steps in. Kai is pulling me by one arm and Lloyd is pulling me by the other. They drag me off of Chen's worthless body as I just squirm and kick my legs in attempt to leave their grasp.
"Let go of me! Lloyd, let go! I swear to God I'll kill him! LET ME FUCKING GO! LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" I screech as hot tears stream down my face.
Chen is still on the floor as he slowly scoots his body away from me out of fear that I could get my way out of Lloyd and Kai's grip.
"(Y/N), please stop! It's really not worth it," Lloyd says softly as he stoops down to my level. He loosens the grip on my arm and rubs gently on my shoulder. My breathing slows and the tears stop. I almost forget why I was even upset in the first place. I feel myself almost completely calm down... But then I realize he's let go of my arm.
I bolt up off the ground and back to Chen, who has already stood back up.
"(Y/N)!" Lloyd shouts.
With all of my strength, I throw my fist at him as hard as my body will allow me to. I feel a sharp pain in the side of my hand, but the pain isn't enough to make me stop. I keep going, punch after punch until he's dropped onto the ground.
"You fucking psychopath!" He yells.
Finally, the teacher that was trying to weave his way through the crowd reaches Chen and I.
"Come with me, boys," he puts a hand on my shoulder and Chen shakily tried to make his way back up onto his feet.
I watch him struggle, almost proud of what I've accomplished. I glare at him the entire time he struggles to get up. Kai even has to come over and help him up.
"You two, to the office. Now," the teacher demands. I don't even know who this guy is. I must not have him in class yet.
He begins to walk us both down the hall. I'm on his right and Chen is on his left. He has a hand on both of our shoulders to prevent us from going anywhere. Not that I would plan on trying to run away. It's not like I can run away from whatever punishment I'm about to receive.
The walk from the middle of the hallway to the principal's office seems like it took forever, but we eventually make it there.
The teacher brings us in to the principal's office. It's a secluded room. Pale blue walls, mixed color carpet, the principal's desk in the middle, and a few chairs in front of it. I've never actually been in the principal's office before. I've never gotten in trouble or needed to speak to her.
"Have a seat, boys," the principal says in her soft voice.
The both of us sit down in two of the plastic seats that were only a few feet away from her desk. Chen and I remain silent until she speaks.
"Can either of you tell me why you're here?" Her voice is quite assertive, but it still has an almost comforting tone.
"This psychotic maniac attacked me for absolutely no reason," Chen spits out before I get the chance to speak.
"No reason? You're the one who gave Lloyd a black eye for no reason!" I retaliate.
"So you were defending Lloyd?" The principal asked.
"Yes," I respond.
"You have no proof that I did that! He could be lying!" Chen yells.
"Lloyd would never lie," I defend.
"Give me just one second," The principal says. She picks a phone off the side of her desk, "Could I see Lloyd Garmadon in the office, please?" She used the intercom to call Lloyd up from lunch.
It took almost no time for him to arrive because the cafeteria isn't that far away from the office. Lloyd peers through the door with hesitence.
"You wanted to see me?" He quietly asks.
"Have a seat, Lloyd," The principal says.
He has a seat next to my right so that he's no where near Chen.
"I've been told Chen has caused an injury today. Is this true?" She questions.
"...No..." Lloyd lies. Even though he's The Green Ninja, he's still afraid of Chen.
"Lloyd, yes he did. There's no reason for you to be afraid of Chen," I try to knock some sense into him. I can hear Chen scoff in response to my statement.
"Lloyd... was he, or was he not the cause of an injury?" She asks again, this time more sternly.
"...Yes..." Lloyd finally admits.
"He's lying, pull the cameras!" Chen demands.
"You're just telling her to pull the cameras because it happened in the bathroom and you know there's no cameras in there!" I combat.
"Then it's my word against his," Chen crosses his arms.
"No, it's our word against yours," I say with confidence.
"You wouldn't know, you weren't there when it happened!" Chen revolts.
"So it did happen?" The principal intervenes, catching Chen in a slip of words.
"Well, no- I just- I got caught up in my words- it didn't actually happen!" Chen tries to defend himself.
"Chen, you do realize I can pull the cameras from the hallway outside the bathroom. I can see what time the two of you went into the bathrooms, and I can see whether or not Lloyd exited with the black eye," she explains to him. A small smirk grows on my face. "If you own up to it now, your punishment will be less harsh."
Chen sits in silence, clearly debating if he should come clean or keep running with the lie.
"I... fine... I did it..." Chen finally owns up.
"Thank you, Chen," she thanks him for finally telling the truth, "I wish I didn't have to do this, but school policy says I will have to punish the both of you for harassment against other students. (Y/N), I support you standing up for your friend, but next time, please tell someone instead of acting on impulse. The punishment for the both of you will be three days suspension and disqualification from all clubs, sports, and after school activities for the season. That includes cheerleading."
Chen then looked at me with the most angry look I've ever seen him give, just because he won't be able to do his stupid cheerleading for the rest of the season. Even though I'm getting suspended, I'm still glad I did it. Chen deserved every single punch, kick, and scratch that he got.
"I'm going to call your parents to pick you up. The two of you won't be allowed back on the school premises until Saturday. Lloyd, you may go back to class," she says, still with the same tone of voice that she's had since we got here.
Lloyd quietly gets up and returns to lunch.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-
The principal called both of our parents as we sat silently in her office. Chen's mom was the first to come. She looked just as I expected her to. Expensive clothing, lots of makeup, tan skin. It's just something about these types of people that lead me to believe that they're parents look like the stereotypical snooty rich person.
I was left sitting in the office for about 25 minutes after Chen left until my mom came. The only thing she said when she entered the room was "let's go." I followed her out to our car as she began to drive us back home. The first five minutes of the car ride were mostly silent until she spoke up.
"So, what happened?" She asked, still keeping her eyes on the road.
"Didn't the principal tell you over the phone?" I ask.
"Yes... all I heard was that you got in a fight... Do you wanna talk about it?" She asks.
"Well... some guy named Chen gave someone else a black eye for no reason, so I... I hit him... I'm sorry," I simplified the story quite a bit, but I apologize before she even gets to respond.
"There's no need to be sorry. You're not in trouble. You had good reason," she says.
"Really?" I'm a bit shocked. There's very little things that my mother and I see eye to eye on.
"Yeah... I would have hit him, too," she says, then laughs. I laugh, too.
I feel like I make my mom out to be the bad guy all the time when it's really me that does all of the bad. I'm normally the one who starts arguments or does something stupid to get myself in trouble. It's just that it seems like she doesn't care. I know she does... It just... doesn't seem that way... She has a strange way of showing affection that I just haven't quiet figured out yet.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Pretty spicy chapter, amirite?
Sorry for pulling some crazy bs out of no where for this chapter. I had something like this planned for the story for quite a while.
Anyway, as always, tell me what you liked, what you didn't like, and maybe some suggestions for the story.
