A certain darkness is needed to see the stars...

I slowly opened my eyes as sunlight peeped through the curtains. I sat up on the bed.My head was hurting and my mind was a mess. Whatever happened last night...after that I didn't had the energy to watch any movie so I just slept in my room. Taehyung didn't say much as he knows that I was scared. I am even shocked that why I was feeling bad in the first place. I shouldn't have done that... everytime when I'm with Taehyung, I feel like I'm betraying Jimin. But I just can't do anything whenever he's near me I just can't stop him. Like he has that effect on me.

I sighed and picked my phone from the nightstand and saw there were some notifications from Jimin. Again I started to feel bad about not calling or texting him all day yesterday. But I'm really missing him now. I opened the notifications and there were 4 missed calls from him. I quickly dialed his number and called him. After some rings he picked up. Then I spoke

"Uh...hey Jimin" I said in a cheerful voice.

"Oh hey Ryu" he said. His voice was deep and raspy like he just woke up from his sleep. But it still felt sexy.

"How are you Ryu" he asked taking me out of my trance. I cleared my throat and replied

"I'm fine and you?" I asked and he responded

"I'm good" I hummed in response and then spoke

"Uh...I'm really sorry Jimin...I didn't called or texted you yesterday...I was just busy with the assignments."I felt so bad for lying. I wish I could tell him the truth. But I don't wanna hurt him.

"No it's okay I understand" he said and I smiled a little. Then he spoke

"Uhm..I wanted to ask you if you're free today?...so we can meet?" I bit my lip, I was a little nervous like whenever he asks me out for a date i always feel nervous.

"Y-yeah sure...why not I'm free today"I said and he spoke

"Oh great then.. I'll send you the address and time ok?"

"Yeah sure" I said

"Okay then meet you soon" I said

"Uh wait" he said

"Yes?" I asked and it was a moment of silence until he spoke

"I love you Ryu" he suddenly said and I froze. He always says this so suddenly that I don't even get the time to process his words.

"Ryu?" He asked

"Uh y-yeah...I love you t-too"I said and stuttered a little. I hate this habit of stuttering when I'm nervous. It really makes the situation more awkward than it already is.

"Ok then...see you soon"he said

"Uh yeah...bye" I said and he cut the call. I placed the phone on my bed and sighed.

I was getting ready as Jimin asked me out on a date. And I'm genuinely happy that he invited me...I always feel happy and comfortable when I'm around Jimin unlike Taehyung with whom I'm always scared and uncomfortable. I don't know what stupid games he's playing with me. But I have to stop him from doing all this to me. Infact he has no right over me to do all these things. Huh. I got dressed and applied a little make-up as I'm not a big fan of makeup. I got ready and left my room. I quietly sneaked out of the house before anyone catches me especially Taehyung. I don't know if he's even home but I can't take any risk. He's insane.

I was walking towards the address Jimin sent me. It wasn't that far from my house so I decided to just walk towards it.

I entered inside the cafe. I looked around trying to find the person im gonna meet today. Finally I spotted him and he waved towards me. I smiled at walked over the table he was sitting on. The cafe wasn't much crowded so it was really peaceful. I reached him and he got up and hugged me, I hugged back and pulled away after sometime.

"Hey... you're looking beautiful" Jimin said and winked at me. I blushed and whispered a little 'thankyou' to him. He chuckled and pulled a chair for me to sit. I sat down and he also sat opposite to me.

"Let's order?" He asked breaking the awkward silence between us. I looked at him and said

"Yeah sure" he smiled and called a waiter. Soon she approached at our table with a notepad in her hand and asked

"Hello sir....hello mam, what would you like to have?" She asked and smiled at us.

"Uh..one iced americano for me" I said and she nodded at wrote my order. She then looked at Jimin

"One Latte" he said and smiled. She nodded and said

"Anything else?"

"No" Jimin replied. She nodded and then left our table.

"So... how's everything?" Jimin asked.

"Um..good..I was just getting bored all day...jisoo is also busy in hospital and I don't have anything to do this weekend" I said and he smiled" but thankfully you invited me to this date" I said and smiled.

He also smiled and asked

"So...you missed me?" He smiled teasingly and asked

"Um.. y-yeah?" I said blushing. Ughh..he always does this. He laughed and our order also arrived. We thanked the waiter and she smiled and left.

I took a sip from my coffee and then Jimin spoke

"And... how's Taehyung...is he still bothering you?" He asked sipping on his coffee. My breath hitched and I got uncomfortable again. It's not the right time to talk about these things. I cleared my throat and said

"Um..not much" Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. He was about to say something but someone suddenly called his name. We looked at the door and Jungkook was smiling at us. He started walking towards our table. Oh fuck...if he's here that means....shit.

Jungkook started walking towards our table and behind him.... Taehyung. As soon as they reached our table, Jimin and jungkook greeted each other but Taehyung stood still there just looking at me. In his eyes I saw the feeling of betrayal. But why...what have I done? We're not related in any kind. We kept looking at each other but soon that emotion vanished and got replaced by anger? He was angry and I can clearly tell this, but he remained silent. Jimin noticed but before he could say something, Taehyung diverted his gaze from me and did handshake with Jimin. He smiled but I knew it was fake. He was furious and that's what actually scared me.

We sat on our seats and jungkook ordered his coffee but Taehyung didn't. He was sitting opposite of me with jungkook while Jimin beside me. And all the time he kept looking at me. I started to get really uncomfortable. Jimin noticed and he held my hand under the table. I looked at him and he smiled assuringly that it's fine. I smiled back and I felt a little ease with his action.

I was just sitting there drinking my coffee...while Jimin and jungkook were talking to which I didn't paid any attention that what they were talking because of Taehyung, but Taehyung didn't spoke a single word. What if he got to know that I'm dating Jimin. Oh no...the way he looks at me...I am terrified that he probably know but doesn't react. While we were eating Jungkook suddenly asked

"Ah..so Ryu how are you btw" he looked at me smiling. I smiled back and said

"I'm good" he nodded and I looked at Taehyung and he was still staring.

"Were you two on a date?" Jungkook asked teasingly and my eyes widened.

"Ye-" before Jimin could say anything I cut him off.

"N-no we're not.."I said quickly. Taehyung's gaze turned dark like he know that I was lying.

I looked at Jimin and he furrowed his eyebrows at me and gave me a questionable look. But I gave him a pleading look signalling him to tell everything later.

He didn't said anything else after that.

"So..you didn't got any boyfriend I see" jungkook said while Jimin choked on his coffee. Everyone looked at Jimin and I asked

"Are you ok?" . Fuck.now Taehyung would surely know...urghhh.He wiped his mouth with tissue and said

"Uh yeah... sorry" he said smiling apologetically and I nodded

"Btw...you two look cute together" Jungkook said refering to me and Jimin. Our eyes widened and it was a moment of silence. I looked at Taehyung and he was fuming with anger...oh no. Taehyung looked at Jungkook angrily and then he realised what he said. He looked at us and cleared his throat before speaking again

"Uh...I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..uh" he said and pressed his lips in a thin line.

"I-its ok jungkook...you don't need to be sorry and about a boyfriend I'm not really looking for it right now and Jimin is a really good friend of mine... right Jimin?" I said smiling and looked and Jimin signalling him to agree and he also smiled a little and said

"Yeah she's right" he said. After that they started talking about something else. I was so scared cause I don't know how Taehyung is gonna react after all this....
