《EVERLASTING || manjiro sano》does not make sense

Walking hastily down the stairs, Mikey continuously protested the favor happening. But it went from one ear into the other. In other words, to no avail. "Hey! I've spent 3 years avoiding her, I'm not gonna stop now just 'cause you can't take no for an answer." He said, more aggressively than he had ever been.
Ignorantly, Draken had no interest in what he had to say. Mostly because they've been tolerating such childish behavior for so long. 'They' being the entirety of Toman. "I don't give a shit." He said as he walked out of the house, leaving an angry Mikey by the door.
Mikey dropped both of his arms to his sides, Takemichi standing right next to him. "This is my house! And I choose whoever goes in and out!" He shouted due to the distance between him and the person he's yelling at.
As Draken walked to where y/n was just spotted, he peered into the alley before entering it. And when he walked right in, they knew it meant she was still there. "Well, good thing we're not going into your damned house." His deep voice could be heard even if Mikey had to shout from all the way here.
Takemichi watched as Mikey bit down on his teeth harshly and grumbled under his breath. It was clear to see that she was his mortal enemy, even if he hadn't known why. And for someone to spite a gang leader just that much, it terrified Takemichi. Was that tranquil look just a facade? "Is she that bad?" He asked and looked over at Mikey.
Before Mikey explained by detail how wretched the woman was to him, a voice could be heard getting gradually closer. "Draken, you don't understand, I can't possibly go near him. He doesn't allow me within 5 feet from him." It said with a sensed smile, and Takemichi assumed it was meant to be sarcastic.
Mikey's eyes filled with dread when the girl he had spoken so ill of had walked into his viewpoint. She was being dragged by her wrist to Mikey's house and in some moments, she doesn't seem to object. "I sure did." Mikey said, matter-of-factly.
Y/n pulled her wrist away from Draken's tight grip sharply and stared at the face she hasn't seen in 2 whole years. "You are being such a child about this." Draken stated. "It's dumb. The entire situation is stupid."
"It's because she—" Mikey paused when he recognized her mocking raise of the eyebrows, teasingly asking him to continue as if he were a child or something. That action alone caused his hand to curl into a fist and his jaw to clench furiously. But then he caved and huffed, banging his head on the doorway of his house.

She licked her lips and rolled her eyes humorously. "Well, excuse me while I go about enjoying my day." Y/n smiled and took a step back. "After all, it's hard to talk to a child who's been holding the same false grudge for three years." She turned around and began to walk back to where she originally was.
At this point, Takemichi was genuinely afraid she had a serious death wish or something. But he then started feeling concerned about Mikey's refusal to throw any punches or kicks at her. "You know, that's a lot of talk coming from a traitor to Toman." He stated.
There it was. Now, Mikey was approaching her, defying his very rule that made of the distance between them. He, instead, faced her back. But not for long, as she turned slowly, her brows furrowed. "A traitor? Really?" Y/n asked in hushed tones, just to emphasize how unbelievable that prediction is. "If anyone's a traitor, it's Mr. Michael over here, who's saved every male ass in the entire nation. But as soon as his female friend asks for help, because of his own problems, he's suddenly too big of a coward."
An amused, yet malicious grin spread across Mikey's face. Causing both of his friends' confused heads to turn. "Me? A coward? Out of all people?" He asked rhetorically. "Well, I'll be." "I just know that that is not coming from the girl who can't even fight her own damn fights."
"My own fights?" Y/n exclaimed angrily. She glared holes through his body but he just stared back blankly, and that's how you know he is taking you seriously. "If it even was my own fight, I sure as hell wouldn't want you to fight them for me since you hit like a literal bitch."
Mikey's jaw dropped but his eyes widened, but that didn't matter in his case. "Shut up, both of you." Draken put a stop to it. "I didn't drag you over here for you to bitch about a fight that happened when you were 12. Grow up."
Y/n turned to Draken. "Then what did you drag me here for?" She asked, and it caused an uneasy feeling to settle on Takemichi's chest for some reason, even if he was still confused about that outburst of a fight. "Huh?"
Draken stood there for a few seconds and contemplated how he should go on about this. But he eventually came to a solution. "Pah.. is in jail." He said first and her expression turned worried. "And in that event, a feud happened with Moebius and— I don't know when— there's going to be a fight. So, we need your gang's help if it actually does happen 'cause a few members of Pah-chin's division left out of respect."

Half of her wanted to help out because Pah-chin was a very old friend of hers. But the other half didn't want to work with Mikey of all people. Especially with how butthurt he was just by her being here. "We don't want your help and we never needed your help. Good day, ma'am." Mikey pushed y/n out of the way to quicken the process.
Y/n was disgusted by the terrible wording and raised her eyebrows. "Our mothers used to change our diapers together, Mikey. The only ma'am you'll ever say is if you were to refer to your warden." She reminded him which made Mikey gag in disgust and Takemichi baffled at their past. That long? Was her significance the burden he's currently feeling?
It did not make sense. Maybe that is the source of the suffocating feeling that has an iron hold on his chest. It made Takemichi want to either run away or to end this favor from happening, and the difference between the two was perplexing. "I'll be back." He said and rushed away from them, grasping his chest desperately.
The others looked at him as he ran, puzzled. But the blame fell on one person, according to Mikey. "Great. You made Takemitchy leave." He huffed. "You're a human repellent."
Prodding her cheek with her tongue, y/n looked between Draken and Mikey, who were silent. Sure, the hate went both ways but it wasn't as equal as one might think. And it exhausted her seeing someone she's known her whole life being so repulsed by her mere presence. "That's something we both have in common, don't you think?" She asked. "It was nice seeing you again, Draken. But I won't be able to help, sorry."
She walked away yet again, but this time it was more final than before to Draken. So he turned to Mikey sharply and, fairly, with anger. "You happy now?" He asked and scoffed.
To answer his question, yes he actually was. But it was rather short when he recognized the defeated look on Draken's face that he has yet to miss. "Wait, Look! Ken-chin got in my head!" Mikey stopped her reluctantly and sighed when he did it. "See, I don't really like you. At all. And I don't think I will stop hating you if you actually agree to this thing. In fact, I think I will hate you even more, But! If you help us out and it's all good, we can go back to not talking to each other anymore. How 'bout that?"
Draken rolled his eyes and threw his head back. "It's like you're doing her a favor, mikey." Draken told him. "What kind of deal is that?"
Y/n, again, turned to them with exhausted eyes. "Fine. I'll only do this because Draken actually has a legitimate reason. And I only said that to clarify that your shitty deal, in no way, changed my mind." She told Mikey and continued, "But me doing that without something in return is very selfless, and I'm not risking my gang's safety for nothing."
"Ofcourse it's something. It's always something." Mikey muttered under his breath and then grinned forcefully. "What do you want in return?"
With thought, she tilted her head to think of what to order from them. Some of it had to be logical, while the other half could just be for her own benefit. "Well, I definitely need the guarantee that you guys will help me out if I get in a situation like this, and I also want to braid Mikey's hair right now."
Draken looked up to see if that actually can be provided while Mikey hadn't processed a single word she had said and just kept staring blankly. "Done and done." Draken agreed and pointed to her.
Mikey's eyes widened.

Impatiently, Takemichi tapped his feet against the concrete underneath him, eagerly waiting for a member of the tachibana household to answer his desperate knocking. To his surprise, the person that opened the door was none other than Hina's father. ".. Do I know you?" He asked, threateningly to what Takemichi presumed.
Now, two answers went through his head. Should he introduce himself as what he really is or does he not wanna die? "I, sir, am.." Takemichi gulped and thought of what to answer with. "..Naoto's friend.. from the park! Could you call him for me?"
Naoto's father squinted his eyes and scanned Takemichi's figure, to see if he was any bit of a threat. But from his point of view, he looked like a typical harmless teenager that is normally nervous around authoritative figures. "Sure." He said and closed the door behind him.
For a while, Takemichi faced the door and wondered whether Naoto's father was lying to him and he was just watching the daily news instead of calling on Naoto. But thankfully, Naoto opened the door. "Naoto, my good old friend!" Takemichi excitedly said and held out his hand for him to shake. "Good seeing you, buddy! Come on, give my hand a shake!"
With a raised eyebrow, Naoto looked over at Takemichi's nervous grin. And he asked himself whether his sister's boyfriend was really just a massive creep. "Uhm- okay, why not?" He sighed and shook Takemichi's hand.
It does not make sense.
