"Find me those ninja! They can't just break out of Kryptarium and completely disappear." The Commissioner shouted, enraged that the Ninja broke out of the prison.

"I want witnesses, I want locations. These fugitives are ninja, people. They could be right under our noses for all we know." He walked past the room of first responders.

Nya spun around on a chair, disguised as a cop, sitting at a desk.

"All right, I'm in their secured network. But I still need that password." She whispered into her communicator in her wrist watch.

"I'm looking for it now, but I don't get it. Why do we have to hack into their system when we already have a Nindroid?" Jay whispered, also as a cop, a few desks over from Nya.

"Because Nindroids don't know everything. And if Soto says the map is the only thing that can stop Nadakhan is on his ship, we need to find it. And find it fast." Nya whispered back.

"Hey, real fast, what's the password again?" Jay asked, lowering his voice because man, it is high.

"The password is 'password'." The one he asked replied.

"Got that?" Jay nodded to Nya, pointing to his watch. Nya nodded and inputted the password.

"That worked." She whispered, surprised yet dumb founded.

" Now searching city records for the last known whereabouts of his ship, Misfortune's Keep." Nya tapped on the keyboard.

"Speaking of which, hey, Kai, how's Destiny's Bounty holding up?" Nya asked.

"I got my eyes on it now, sis. We sure could use it." Kai and Zane approached a repo area. He placed his hand on the gate to immediately retract it.

"Ow! Careful, Zane. It's electrified." Kai warned, holding his arm out in front of Zane.

"I believe all of the signs on this repo yard made that abundantly clear." Zane pointed to the electric warning signs.

"Perhaps there's another suitable solution past this obstacle. Airjitzu?" Zane lifted his hand, then flying up and over the fence.

"You don't have to sound so cocky." Kai said, quickly following.

"Looks like we have some trespassers. Go get them, Sir Chomps-A-Lot." The Repo man let his dog loose.

"Okay, I've located Nadakhan's ship. It was last recorded to be seen in Gypsy Cove. Three klicks north of Cannon Beach." Nya whispered back into watch.

"Thanks, Delara. Oh, I mean, Nya." Cole said, on his dragon. Lloyd laughed at the name being used for Nya.

"Not funny. Let's see how you like it when you look like our enemy's sweetheart." Nya said.

"Didn't we do that already?" Cole asked. Lloyd tilted his head.

"I mean, we fought Neran, Morro was his sweetheart." Cole shrugged.

"What." Morro's voice pierced through the communicator.

"Morro, it was a wonder of the world how you weren't dating." Lloyd said.

"You were blushing every time he directly spoke to you."

'Thanks for reminding me of my regrets.' Morro leaned his head back. Lloyd's eyes widened.

"Sorry." Lloyd said out loud.

"What?" Cole asked.

"Change the subject. Morro, how are you doing at your position?" Lloyd asked through the communicator.

"Easy." Morro sighed, dangling his legs over a building, surveilling the city center where the police station, the museum and the library were mostly in one place.

"Nothing out of the ordinary quiet day." Morro said.

"Gypsy Cove isn't far. We'll let you know what we see when we get there." Lloyd nodded to Cole and they flew off with speed.

Zane climbed upon the chains holding the Bounty down and attempted to break them.

"Would you hurry up?" Kai asked, anxiously.

"These chains will take me a while. You could keep interrupting me or perhaps start making yourself useful." Zane held his hand close to the chain. Kai tried to melt the chains but the Repo Man's dog started to chase him.

"Aah! Get away, get a—Get away, get away, get away!!" Kai shouted. Aggressive animals are no one's strong point.

"Trespasser! Don't move!" The Repo man shot his charge. He tried to hit Zane but broke the chain instead.

"I told you to hurry up!" Kai shouted. Zane flipped down to the ground.

"Would you be quiet and run?" Zane shouted.

Their screams transferred to Nya's communication device. The other police officers looked at her curiously.

"Well, if you can't get it, for my sake just get out of there, you two." Nya lowered the volume and leaned into her watch.

"Get out of here? But we just got here." Cole said.

"Not you, Cole. Did you find Nadakhan's ship?" Nya sighed.

"Not exactly. But there is evidence of it. Looks like some repairs are made." Lloyd informed.

"But this is strange. What is electrical wiring doing on an old pirate ship?" Lloyd kneeled to the ground to observe a wire in the sand.

"Maybe it already set off to sea?" Cole suggested.

"With electrical wiring?" Morro asked through the communicator.

"I'm getting no readings of it anywhere. You'd think a big pirate ship would get someone's attention." Nya added.

"If Nadakhan's ship's not here, and it's not out there, where is it?" Lloyd asked.

"Good question." Nya turned to her computer.

"What's a good question?" The Commissioner asked Nya, who he thinks is just another officer.

"Uh, question is, what time's lunch? All this searching is making me hungry." Nya quickly responded, disguising his voice.

"Hmm, you're right. We can't think on an empty stomach. We'll resume after lunch." The Commissioner said, walking off.

. . .

Clancee threw up over the ship's side as the Misfortune's keep was in the air.

"You always were seasick, Clancee, but I never pegged you to be airsick." Flintlocke approached. Clancee went back to his thing as Flintlocke turned to the crew.

"Trim the sails! Tighten the halyard!" He shouted as he made his way up to his captain.

"What is it?" Nadakhan asked.

"Uh, the crew and I have kept our mouths shut, but you still haven't told us about your plan." Flintlocke explained his dilemma.

"You need to trust your captain. Your job is to control the ship, which you seem to be failing at." Nadakhan went past his first mate.

"My job is to catch the Ninja so that the Sword of Souls is powerful enough to do our bidding." He raised the sword he recieved from his father and dying realm.

"I'm sorry, Captain. I'll have this ship steady in no time." Flintlocke exited the room.

"I said, steady the ship!" He shouted.

You never doubted me, Delara." Dadakhan looked at the picture in his compass.

"Any news?" He asked on the upper deck.

"S-Still no sign of the Ninja, Captain. I-I-It's like they've d-d-d-disappeared off the map." Clancee slowly replied.

"Well, then, maybe I'll see what progress this so-called police are making in their search." Nadakhan disappeared from the ship.

"I really wish he'd warn us when he did that." Clancee gagged.

"Fly over the mountain, not into it!" Flintlicke shouted at the wheel. He grabbed the wheel and steered the ship. Monkey Wretch screeches.

"What do you mean the rudder can only turn left or right? What kind of airship can't go up or down?!" Flintlocke shouted. The crew screamed as they get closer to the mountain.

. . .

Nya approached a food truck to order food.

"Let me take care of that." Jay cut in with his deep voice.

"A gentleman-- I mean, uh,-- a superior always pays." He stuttered. He checked his pockets.

"Whoops. Hahaha, wrong pants." He said as there was no money on him.

"Here." Nya sighed in her deep voice.

"This should cover the both of us." She placed the money on the counter and they took their food. They went to a bench Nya takes off her disguise.

"It really is you, Delara." Nadakhan observed from a far.

"If I had a dime for every time I was broke. Heh..." Jay sighed.

"Oh." Nya said, straight face.

"What did I say?" Jay asked.

"I expect it from others, but not you." Nya said.

"What? Can't I try and buy lunch for a friend?" Jay asked, waving his hands around.

"But I know you don't just see me as a friend. All week you've made it pretty obvious." Nya pointed to Jay's chest.

"You're still harboring some feelings. I've tried to ignore it, but..." Nya stood up and faced the other way, crossing her arms.

"It's cause I'm from a junkyard, isn't it?" Jay said, looking to the side.

Nya spun back around.

"Of course, not. We're friends." Nya said.

"Good friends. But that's all we are. And that's all we're ever gonna be." Nya placed her hands on her arms, hugging herself.

"Look, I'm already the Girl Ninja. But my role on the team shouldn't be defined by who I'm seeing, but who I'm fighting." She said.

"I get it. A real friend wouldn't put you in that position. I'm sorry, Nya." Jay sighed.

"Thank you for understanding. And you don't have to pay me back. Can't a friend buy lunch for a friend?" Nya recited Jay's words against him.

"Hug?" He opened her arms.

"How about a fist bump?" Jay asked. They fist bump, but Jay's burger stained his shirt.

"Oh, um..." Nya hesitated to do something.

"Look at that. Heh. I guess lunch is on me. Haha." Jay small laughed.

"Excuse me while I find a place to clean this off." He left.

"So she has another suitor." Nadakhan poofed away. From the corner of Morro's eye, he saw the orange glow. Morro raised his stance and leaned into his watch.

"Nya, you've been compromised." Morro said.

"What? By who?" Nya asked.

"Nadakhan. I just saw him for a second." Morro said.

"Where's Jay?" He asked.

"Uhm..." Nya said.

"Yeah, you friend-zoned him, okay, but physically." Morro asked. Morro saw Nya sink into herself as she covered her face and sat down.

"You're such a dork, Jay." The Ninja in disguised scolded himself.

"You see one glimpse into the future of you and Nya together, and expect everything to fall into line. I wish I never saw my future." Jay held his head. Nadakhan appeared right before him.

"Aah!" Jay shouted.

"You want the girl? I can make this happen." Nadakhan said, levitating around Jay.

"N-N-Nadakhan? Oh, no. We weren't supposed to be alone." Jay whispered to himself.

"Why, when I can offer your heart's desire?" Nadakhan pressed.

"Because people disappear when you're around. Nya's right over there. I can scream, you know." Jay warned.

"Well, I guess she'll never be yours." Nadakhan shrugged.

"Wait. But I thought one of the rules was that I couldn't wish for love." Jay said.

"True. But there are other ways to get what you want." Nadakhan said.

"Then again, I guess a poor boy from a junkyard wouldn't understand."

"Well, I guess one little wish wouldn't hurt." Jay said as Nadakhan gently pushed him along.

"But no one else would find out, right? This stays between you and me?" Jay asked.

"Of course. Cross my heart." Nadakhan said.

"Okay. Then I wish...I wish I wasn't born in a junkyard." Jay exclaimed.

"I wish I wasn't poor anymore and could give Nya everything she wants."

"Your wish is yours to keep." Nadakhan bowed and poofed away.

Morro located Jay. He didn't spring into action because Nadakhan had just left. And, jumping down from a building would look insane. A small post man on a bike handed a letter to Jay. The Ninja was stunned. The post man threw his hands in the air. Jay quickly ran off. Morro narrowed his gaze at the running Ninja. He headed for out of the city.

'Lloyd, I'm turning off my communication device for a bit.'

Morro switched his watch off.

'What? Why?'

Lloyd quickly placed his hand on his head.

'A small suspicion. I don't want anyone tracking you if they catch me.'

Morro started to jump across roofs.

. . .

"No. Dad! Mom? Dad? Mom!" Jay slammed the door to his parents' open.

"Oh, what is it, son? What's all the fuss?" Edna asked.

"Where's Dad? Is he okay?" Jay frantically asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Jay, he's no longer here." Edna said. Jay backed up in disbelief. He shrunk in his place.

"Yeah, I'm back. Picked up a few diddilybops. Heh." Ed walked in the camper.

"Jay, what a welcome sight." He smiled. Jay ran to hug his dad.

"I thought I lost you." He pulled away.

"I got this letter that said my father passed away and I inherited lots of money." Jay pulled out the envelope.

"I would never wish for this, Dad. I didn't want it to be true." Jay pleaded.

Ed and Edna glanced at each other.

"Well, Jay, there has been something we've been meaning to tell you." Edna said.

"Ah. But, uh, gee-willickers. There was just no easy way to say it, heh." Ed stepped forwards. They took Jay's hands.

"You see, son, you're, uh...you're adopted."

"Uh, whoo...." Jay didn't exactly know what to say.

"Oh, you were left at our doorstep when you were just a baby, along with this address and key." Edna handed Jay a letter and key.

"Uh, heh." Jay took it.

"Oh, you were just so gosh darn cute." Edna said.

"And we gladly raised you as our own ever since." Ed exclaimed.

Jay inspected the address and key.

"Yeah. We're sorry, son. I-I-I hope this doesn't change anything." Ed said. Jay looked as his parents, pity, sadness, confusion all rolled into one gaze.

. . .

Jay pulled up to the house of the address on the letter.

"Whoa! Is this where my birth father lived? Whoa! Wow." Jay examined the exterior of the large house. He entered. It was luxurious. Wide open space, so many doors. Floor to ceiling windows, way too many light switches and everything a typical rich house would have.

Jay walked into another room, one with a Fritz Donnegan statue.

"Fear isn't a word where I come from!" It spoke.

"Would you look at that? Heh. My father was a fan of Fritz Donnegan too. Heh. Cool." Jay passed by a shelf of trophies.

"Wow. He had so many trophies." Jay pulled on one of them and a secret door opened. Inside was so many things. Fritz Donnegan action figures, pictures, dvds, and a dressing mirror. One strange thing was Jay's old gi from the serpentine threat hung at the back of the room. Jay turned to the mirror.

"My father wasn't just a fan of Fritz Donnegan. He was Fritz Donnegan!"
