《Ghost Friend | Ninjago × Reader ✔️》Chapter 14

I get out of R.E.X. and look around.
R.E.X. Made a sound "destination reached, auto return initiated."
"Auto return? No, no! Bad R.E.X! Bad!" Jay said as if he was talking to a puppy.
The guys tried to chase it but it went underwater.
Zane said "our Aeroblades were there.."
"We might find another way out when we finish our mission," I said.
Jay spoke "I hope Morro didn't find this place yet."
"Yeah," I muttered and walked forward. I could hear the boys whispering behind me.
"You think she's okay?" Kai asked.
Zane spoke "I don't think she is."
Cole started talking "when we found old pictures of her and Morro, she seemed pretty depressed."
"I don't think they were just friends," Jay said, silence followed.
"Jay, it's not the time for shipping," Lloyd told him.
More silence.
"Maybe we should ask her," Zane suggested and I heard footsteps coming towards me.
"Hey Y/n... Are you okay?" Lloyd asked.
"I'm fine."
Zane said "you don't look fine."
I sighed, Jay put his hand on my shoulder "you can tell us anything, we're family and we'll do anything to help you."
"He's right," Cole said "you can tell us anything, we'll do our best to help."
"Thanks guys," I said "I'm actually really confused about something."
Kai spoke "let's go, you can tell us on the way."
We started walking.
"I had a dream a few days ago," I started "it wasn't a normal dream, it was a memory, a memory of the last day I saw Morro alive."
They listened quietly without interrupting, which was pretty weird.
"when I woke up a few minutes ago, I was having the same dream, but I saw some stuff that weren't in my memories."

Zane spoke "like what?"
I replied "I saw Morro standing behind the girls room with a gift box, which was impossible since I was in the room at that time, and I saw Morro writing something in the boys room which girls weren't allowed to enter."
"That's impossible," Zane said "if your dream was about a memory, it shouldn't show anything you couldn't see in the past."
"Yeah, that's pretty weird," Kai said.
Lloyd spoke after a three-seconds silence "maybe it wasn't your memory?"
We stopped and looked at him. I asked "what do you mean?"
"Maybe it's Anima's? Weren't you possessed by her?"
"But how? You're saying that Anima was there? In the monastery?" I asked, kind of understanding what he meant.
"Think about it, maybe when she possessed you, some of her memories transferred to you," he said.
Zane spoke "maybe that's possible."
I was still confused, I still knew things I didn't tell them. Was Anima watching Morro and me when we were kids? Why did she even disappear so suddenly?
I was confused, but I put my thoughts aside.
We saw a door and got inside. Inside, there were many other doors, each one had a symbol.
Cole spoke "this could be the first test."
"Test? what test?" I asked.
Lloyd answered "my mom said there will be tests, she also told us something... What was it, Zane?"
"A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot."
"Wow," I said "so this is supposed to help us?"
"Yeah," Kai said.
Jay looked at each door "sixteen doors, for Sixteen Realms?"
Cole spoke "Well, could be. But let me guess, pick the wrong door and we'll be in a realm of hurt."

Kai was repeating the first half of the riddle or whatever it is, trying to figure out what it means.
I looked at the door, each one had a symbol, but also had a man carrying a crystal, each door had the man carrying the crystal in a different direction from the others...
Jay saw a door with a tornado on "this could be the one right?"
Kai said "you could be right."
Jay was about to open the door when I realized....
"These are like frames," I said, they all looked at me "like an animation, it has frames, it's drawing a picture."
"You're right, it's a zoetrope," Zane said.
"A zoe-what?" Kai was confused.
Zane explained "A zoetrope. The engravings in rapid succession creates a moving image."
Cole said "I still don't get it."
I told him "like I said, Cole, it's like an animation, you should put all of them together to see the full image."
Kai mumbled " 'a spinjitzu master can'... Do spinjitzu!"
Zane did spinjitzu "he's creating some sort of image," he stopped and pointed at the door we came through "That one. That's the door out."
Cole was confused as the others "I don't know, Zane. Isn't that the same door we came in? Are you sure?"
"Cole, our whole life doesn't make sense and you're confused about this?" I asked.
Zane asked "are you sure you want to doubt a Nindroid?"
Kai told us to open the door. Jay opened it.
"But...that's wasn't here before. How can it be the way, if that's the way we came in?" Cole asked.. again.
Kai said and walked in "Well, welcome to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master."
Jay spoke to Zane "Hey, hey! Nice one, Zane. Who needs the Sword of Sanctuary when you've got a Nindroid?"
We walk in, I wonder how my mom and aunt are doing.
"Why are we here? Why are we doing nothing?" Y/n's aunt asked her older sister.
"Oh come on, be patient," Y/n's mother sighed and approached Nya.
"Do you see them?"
"No."
Y/n's mother asked "I was wondering that since you are my daughter's friend-"
"Best friend," Nya corrected while still searching for the ninjas.
"Yeah, so.. Can you tell me what she's like? What type of friends does she have outside the team? Her interests?"
"Okay, but I think Morro's friends wanted to give us a visit," she said as she saw Soul Archer, Bansha and...
Nya gasped, Y/n's mother asked "what? What did you see?"
"It's..... Anima."

The Complete Alchemyst book 2
Continuation of the Alchemyst book 1 Sometimes to be the good guy, you gotta be the bad guy. This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
