FIREWORKS! PARADES! LANTERNS ARE LIT!
The colour of red sparked up the streets of Ninjago City. A celebrations of a life time! Almost everyone was out celebrating the lights. But with bright lights comes dark shadows.
Seven people in black ran above the streets. They jumped across the buildings, their different coloured helmets just barely showing. Where were they headed? The center of Ninjago. Borg tower.
With a careful entrance, they made their way through a gallery, multiple scrolls, masks and artifacts on display. The one in green spotted a hanging portrait of Cyrus Borg. He cut the frame open, revealing a red mask. It resembled a demon. The one in white reached for it. Green held his hand back. With a throw of some powder, lasers were revealed.
Green used his swords to delicately deflect the lazers, taking the mask out. White took the swords out. That sounded the alarms. The building was on lock down. They raced to the broken window they cut open. They all barely made it out.
There was some sound. Like sparks flying as a sword was being sharpened. And a faint green glow...
"Nice masks."
That glow was charged and disarmed one of the masked thiefs.
"You could almost pass as ninja." The Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon raised his hands. It's been quite a while, hasn't it?
The leader ran to pick up a harpoon as the rest swarmed around Lloyd. They didn't seem to last long, only attacking one at a time, but the leader was getting away. Lloyd's eyes lit up, his hands glowing, he spun into his Spinjitzu Tornado, knocking out all except two. Green and gray.
Lloyd grabbed onto their escape rope, sliding down after them. Green got to the end, cutting the rope. His comrad was left to fall. Lloyd caught him, placing him down and for the police.
Green threw off his helmet, replacing it with a black helmet and red visor. A bike started up.
"Pixal, I need my car!" Lloyd exclaimed, swinging over the roads with the cut rope.
"Your coordinates, Master Lloyd?" Pixal asked in the comm.
"Somewhere over... You know how to find me." Lloyd couldn't read the street signs as he dropped to the road. Sure enough, his car drove right up and caught the Ninja in his seat.
"Ha ha. I could kiss you, Pix!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"I don't think Zane would approve."
"Right sorry, that was--.... Really wierd." Lloyd said, stepping on the gas. He persued the biker on the raods.
"Who am I chasing?" Lloyd asked.
"He or she is not in our database."
"Whoever they are, they're good. I need backup." Lloyd sighed.
"All of the others are on active missions throughout Ninjago. You are on your own." Pixal informed.
"All of them? Really?" Lloyd asked.
"Master Morro has currently cut technological contact." Pixal replied.
"Yeah, I'll take care of that." Lloyd said as he excelerated.
The biker, still in possession of that mask he stole, slowed down to get behind Lloyd. The Green Ninja drifted around and charged. The biker used some spikes to jump over Lloyd and off the bridge. He escaped with a parachute with the characters S.O.G. ... Man, whoever nammed that gang didnt think about the acronym.

Lloyd narrowed his eyes.
"Master Lloyd, are you all right? Are you there?" Pixal asked.
"Yeah, I'm here. It's time to get the team back." Lloyd nodded.
And with the rising of the shadows, there come a brighter light. A new chapter of the story has begun.
. . .
"Uhh. The sun is blistering. Faster!" A samurai, yet un noble as could be, stood over the rice field workers in the heat.
"You heard your master. Work!" Another samurai snapped his whip.
Along passed a bearer of water. Two buckets supported by a bamboo.
"Heh. You there, peasant. Bring me water." The samurai said. The passer by didn't move. "You hear me? Bring me some water!" The samurai exclaimed.
The water bearer looled up from under their kasa.
"Thirsty?" She smirked.
The third samurai gasped.
"It's-"
"The Master of Water, Nya!" The second exclaimed.
"I don't care. Get her!" The leader yelled. They drew their swords.
Nya was able to knock them off their feet and their swords thrown away. All without spilling her two pales of water. The third ran steaight at Nya.
She threw him around before dropping her pales. The water rose out of the wodden containers, floating around Nya's hands. With one shot, Nya knocked back the samurai into the rice field.
"Still thirsty?" Nya asked, one bauble of water to spare.
Nya got all three samurai stuck in the mud, letting the worker cheer for their release. Nya bowed. She heard her watch beep. She smiled and ran off.
. . .
Ancient temples? Locayed on snowy mountains. Where else would they be? Bam! The doors open through a cold wind, black and blue gis tumbled inside.
"Cole, you're my friend, but right now you're my worst enemy. You have no idea how time travel works." The blue exclaimed as the Ninja closed the door.
"If someone goes back in time and alters the past, our reality as we know it would change. We could look totally different and not even know it." Cole, the Earth Ninja flipped off his hood, revealing his longer hair.
"But we don't." Jay said as he revealed his freckled face and curly hair.
"Thus, Master Wu must have slipped into a time stream into the future." Jay said.
"Whenever he is, it's been a year. It's time we find him." Cole decided.
"Uh, hi. Sorry to bother you. Cole, Master of Earth. Uh, this is Jay, Master of Blabber." Cole smirked.
"Lightning." Jay corrected.
"We heard that an old man who lost his memory wandered in from the cold. About so high, long beard, drinks a lot of tea." Cole said. The monk didn't respond.
"I told you not to introduce yourself as the Master of Earth. No one knows what that means." Jay said.
"No, you bolthead. Everyone here took a vow of silence." Cole sighed.
"Can you point us to him!?" Jay shouted. The monk pounted down a hall.

"Thank you! I-I like your place!" Jay yelled.
The two saw a man, a straw kasa on his head.
"Wait. If it's him, and he lost his memory, don't remind him of that stupid TV show I once hosted, okay?" Jay halted Cole.
"Uh. Master Wu?" Cole asked, pushing away Jay. The man turned around. It' not him.
"Oh, come on. We came all this way, and it's not him? Aw, th-that's it. I quit!" Jay yelled.
"I'm tired of losing people in my life." Cole said, pushing Jay back.
"Wu would never quit on us, and we're not quitting on him." Cole said walking forwards.
"If he's really still out there, couldn't he at least send a letter from the future?" Jay asked.
"Or leave a message to stand the test of time? He's wise. He'd find a way." Jay threw his hands in the air.
"We just have to keep looking." Cole said.
"Yeah, you do that. And while you're at it, I'll be doing something more useful, like being a ninja." Jay poked Cole's chest.
"Ha! Some ninja you are. You talk more than you fight." Cole exclaimes.
"At least I'm entertaining. All you do is judge and act like you know everything!" Jay pointed.
"Uh, yeah sure. Like you know everything! You know while we're up here, I'm sure Morro has at least found something of use! Much more that whatever you find at random places!" Cole exclaimed.
"Would you stop fighting!?" A monk yelled. He gasped ans covered his mouth.
"Way to break your vow." Another stood up. He gasped.
*Oh, no, I spoke too!"
"Haha! I knew you didn't have it in you."
"I've been holding this in, but I just want to say I hate doing your dishes!" Another yelled.
"Well, if everyone is doing it, I'm doing it too."
The monks started to argue more and more. Jay's ear piece beeped.
"That's our cue. Got to run!" Jay pulled Cole by the gi to the door.
. . .
"Zane, Master Lloyd requires Kai and your attention in Ninjago City." Pixal said.
"Is it serious?" Zane asked.
"It appears so. Did I catch you at a bad time?" Pixal asked.
"Zane, a little help?" Kai asked, jumping back.
"Hot off the press. The Mechanic is back, Ninjago." The flame thrower arm lit up. Kinda forgot about him tbh. Kai held his hand up, splitting the flames, but it bursted out onto the docks by the water.
"Ugh. Whoever said 'Fight fire with fire' didn't know what they're talking about." Kai sighed.
"We will be there shortly." Zane signed off.
"Watch out for the crossfire!" The Mechanic steped forwards.
"Hey! You're stealing my lines!" Kai shouted. Zane threw his hands to the ground. His ice spiked up as it reached the Mechanic and froze him in.
"Who likes ice cream? I do!" Zane pointed, taking off his hood.
"How was that for a last line, Kai? Can we leave now?" His form flickered back to titanium ninja.
"Needs a little work. Gonna have to give me a minute to thaw, though. Heh." Kai said, also trapped by ice.
. . .
Far off mountains are a common thing in Ninjago, it's usually not a long walk before you can see the peaks. Even more, there are stalls, bars, cabins for hikers, maybe more so questionable people to stop by while they're doing their buisiness or whatever reason they've been scattered across the land. And one more was there too, face hidden by the shadow of their hood.
"Like I said, there's nothing that happens in Ninjago without me knowing. And I definitely don't know of some crazy biker gang or whatever." A man said, clad in leather and leaning on the counter, facing the stranger in the dark.
"That doesn't seem trusting. Besides... biker gang, you say?" The stranger asked.
"That's funny. I don't remember saying it was a biker gang. You know something, don't you?" They peered up.
The man in leather looked around to the others in the establishment. They grabbed a few objects and approached. This hooded person glanced back. They ducked from an attack.
"Oh I see." They said as they kicked the attacker back. The whole bar seemed to be on the attack. The stranger raised their arms to block a broken glass then pushed forwards, disarming the attacker. A green streak of hair seemed to fly out of the hood.
"That's..." The man, safe to assume is a biker, said. The hood came off and the stranger, no... we know who this is. He tied a green cloth to his right arm and stood up.
"You want to tell me now?" Morro asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Or do I need to tear this place apart before you do?" He raised his hands.
"It's one guy! Get him!" The attacker yelled.
"Alright." Morro said, taking a deep breath.
. . .
Morro wiped his hands. It got pretty dusty. But yeah. He almost destroyed the whole establishment. He glanced down at the fallen down door. He picked it up and leaned it against the wall.
"Thank you. No tip though. The service was pretty bad." Morro adjusted his gloves and pulled out his staff. He sighed.
'You cut contact?'
Lloyd's voice rang in Morro's head. That Linked Wisteria. It connects their sentiments, thoughts sometimes and pain. Big oof.
'Not from everything, no.'
Morro shrugged
'Found something. Not just for my case, for yours.'

Plagued by vile beasts, self-righteous Gods, and even his own seething darkness, the cracks in his mind begin to spread and a dangerous, newfound power bubbles beneath the surface. As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...
