Garmadon dodged an attacked from Close that created and explosion behind him.
"You're gonna have to do better than that if you want to get rid of me, Clouse." He said. Garmadon wished at Clouse, using hand to hand combat. However, Clouse was able to counter.
"I have other things up my sleeves." Clouse said, making a glowing blue portal on the terrace.
"You've opened the Cursed Realm! Are you mad!?" Garmadon grabbed on to a branch to stop from falling into the portal.
"You banished the Anacondrai Generals there. It's time you answer to them!" Clouse exclaimed. The branch Garmadon held broke. The sensei was able to grab a vine.
"You coward! Letting dead generals do your dirty work!" Garmadon shouted.
"You grow wiser in your years, Garmadon. There's nothing to save you." Clouse said in triumph as he watched Garmadon struggle.
"Take in your last moments, Lord Garmadon, and know that it was I who defeated you. And I who will take your title. I, Lord Clouse!"
"Never rest on your laurels, because you lower your guard!" Garmadon swung his vine over and it grabbed onto Clouse's leg, pulling him down.
"You fool! You're...you're pulling us both in!" Clouse cried.
"No, just you." Garmadon climbed up and pushed Clouse in. The portal closed in silence.
"I always hates magic." Garmadon scoffed.
. . .
"But it's there. Right in front of me." Zane cried, backing into the cave wall.
"You're not afraid of dragons. You used to have one." Pixal said.
"I'm afraid of this one. And my memory doesn't remember everything from my past." Zane held his head.
"You must remember who you are. You are the White Ninja." Pixal said in a pleading manor.
"I am not the White Ninja. I am just a replica. I am...afraid." Zane started to hand his head low.
"You are the Ninja of Ice." Pixal said.
"But my powers can't stop him!" Zane shouted, blasting ice.
"Because there is nothing there. It is all in your head. Close your eyes. Close your eyes and see there is nothing to fear."
Zane shut his eyes tight. Everything went black.
"But I hear him."
"What else do you hear?"
"I am not the White Ninja. I am not the White Ninja." Zane repeated.
"Who are you, then?"
"I am..." Zane rose up, opening his eyes to the sound of the dragon growling.
"The Titanium Ninja."
The ice dragon roared but softer.
"I am the Titanium Ninja!" Zane exclaimed. The dragon was in a defensive position. Zane walked up to where he saw and placed his hand on the ice dragon.
"And you...?" Zane sighed.
"Are not here."
"Yes. Anxiety levels are going down." Pixal sighed. She looked again.
"But the Elemental reactor levels are rising!" She exclaimed.
"Zane, the readings inside of you are through the roof."
"I am the Titanium ninja!!" A white light expanded around Zane.
. . .
Nya and Cole handed Eyezor and Zugu over to Karlof.
"Still no sign of Chen?" Karlof asked.
"He escaped, but we'll find him." Cole said. A sage dragon flew over head and disappeared, Morro dropping down.

"I couldn't find the crystal cave. For all we know, Chen could already be there. We don't know where Kai is right now." Morro sighed.
"We just need to hope for the best." Nya said.
"Did Zane ever return?" Cole asked.
"Metal man? I have not seen him." Karlof said.
Garmadon walked over to the front of the temple.
"Dad!" Lloyd ran to him. Garmadon adjusted his clothes that were all scratched up from his fall and fight with Clouse. Lloyd hugged Garmadon and the father and son embraced.
"I don't see Skylor, or Kai?" Garmadon said.
"They said they were on their way." Shade said.
"But we don't know that." Morro said. Garmadon gritted his teeth and dropped to the ground.
"Dad, what's wrong?" Lloyd asked.
"I don't know." Garmadon replied, kneeling on the ground. His anacondrai tattoo began to glow.
"Your tattoo!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"Something inside of me! Something is happening!!" Garmadon shouted.
Chen had found the crystal caves and had Kai and Skylor chained to large spikes. Kai helplessly watched as Skylor crawled in her skin, like someone was grabbing her and pulling her away.
"Trayeaux, keelie, neptide..." Kapau read the spell book.
"No!" Kai cried as Skylor so wanted to let go
"Eek, mojo," uh..."gloop?" Kapau said.
"Not gloop. Glop! Glop!" Chope yelled.
"Um, Master, shouldn't Clouse be reading this?" Kapau asked.
"It doesn't matter. He's not here. Keep reading." Chen said.
"Oh, okay. Trayeaux, keelie, neptide." Kapau read on.
"It's working. It's working! Finish the spell!" Chen shouted as a venom green mist surrounded him.
Kapau started or fall so Chope read on
"Vein, donner, klactu, barnato."
"Kai, don't look at me." Skylor said, a bright light surrounding her.
"Fight it, Skylor. Fight it!" Kai shouted. His hands started to work at the chains with fire.
"I...I can't..." He skin started turning purple and scaly, as did Chen's and all who had the anacondrai tattoo.
"Now I am the most powerful warrior to ever rule Ninjago!" Chen shouted, spinning around, moving his long tail.
"The spell..." Garmadon said, fully turned into an anacondrai. Everyone backed away from him.
"The spell, it's completed. If everyone with the mark of the Anacondrai is affected, that means..." Garmadon looked up. All of Chen's worriers were now anacondrai, bursting out of their ropes and attacking.
"No..." Lloyd said.
"Don't worry. I'm always on your side." Garmadon said.
Cole, Karlof, Shade, Nya, Morro and Lloyd ran to fight.
"Let's get 'em, guys!" Cole shouted. The other masters at the gate joined the battle.
To threw a poison cloud, making a few retreat. Cole ran to the roto-jet but an Anacondrai jumped down from the cockpit. Cole threw a punch but it was caught and being forced back.
"Argh! They're too strong!" Cole shouted.
Griffin tried to use his speed but was countered every time he attacked.
"They're too fast!" He yelled, being thrown away.
Garmadon tried to take a few down but was overtake himself by more warriors.
"And there are too many!" Gar.adorn yelled.

Morro blasted wind, pushing a few snakes back. He turned around and kicked low, sweeping the anacondrai off balance with a strong gust. Morro got up and took out his staff but saw the fallen anacondrai. Morro paused. He lowered his staff. The wind ninja started time back off.
"Morro! Look out!" Lloyd shouted. Morro turned around to see an anacondrai right on his attack. Morro was able to jump back and avoid it.
"Come on, use your power!" Lloyd yelled.
"N-no! There are too many!" Morro shouted. Lloyd ran to Morro, knocking a few anacondrai to the ground.
"Fight, let's go!" Lloyd turned back to the fallen snakes. Morro pointed his staff at one. He didn't move. Lloyd looked aside. He pushed Morro's head down as they avoided an attack.
"What is going on with you?!" Lloyd shouted.
"Retreat! Get everyone to the palace!" Garmadon called.
"Argh. Okay. Everyone!" Lloyd yelled.
"To the palace!!"
The alliance started to fall back.
"Retreat! Everyone retreat!" Karlof yelled.
"Behind you!" Neuro called. Shade kicked away an enemy as Griffin pushed more back.
"Come on!" Shade pulled Neuro up.
Morro ran just behind, creating a wind wave, pushing the front line of the anacondrai back. Morro stopped and quickly ran back, a scared look on his face.
Jay bent down to catch his breath. He looked up and gasped. Jay ignited his hands with lightning sparks.
"Snake among us!" Jay yelled.
Garmadon raised his hands to try and calm Jay.
"No don't!" Lloyd pushed Jay's hands down.
"It's my father."
"First it was four arms, then you became a dragon. Would you mind picking a body and sticking with it, please?" Jay shouted.
"Could use a little help!" Cole shouted, pushing back the door. Morro backed up further from the entrance.
"Okay, no help. JAY, GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!!" Cole shoutrd.
"Okay!" Jay ran to hold the door.
"Oh, man. Look at you. You've got a tail! Haha." Chope pointed.
"No, look at you! You've got fangs!" Kapau shouted.
"You know what I'm thinking?" Chope asked.
"We're gonna need cooler names!" They both yelled.
A ball of fire was thrown at the snakes.
"You're both still ugly! Argh! Fire!!" Kai shot flames at Chen.
"You think a little fire can hurt the thick hide of an anacondrai?" Chen shouted.
Chen spun around and he rigged down into the base of the caves. He popped up behind Kai's turned back and swooped him off his feet. Kaibwas about to fire up when Skylor jumped in and punched Chen away.
"We must get out of here!" Skylor held out her hand. Kai looked at Skylor's new scaly look. He nodded.
"Let's do this!" He pulled Skylor as they ran along.
"Should we, uh, slither after them?" Chope asked.
"Why? They're no longer important. It's time we leave this wretched island." Chen said.
. . .
The alliance held the doors shut as rabid banging forced against the wood. Suddenly, swords came piecing through the planks.
"Ah! Does anyone know any knock-knock jokes?" Cole asked.
"Cuz this ain't funny anymore!"
Then, all the banging stopped.
"Where did they go?" Nya asked. Cole slowly creaked the door open.
"TCH- CTH DON'T!" Jay stopped him.
"It could be a trick!"
Everyone ran to the watch tower fence. The jets and hovercopters started to take off.
"Take care of the island, it's yours!" Chen shouted.
"We'll be taking Ninjago now!" He sped off.
"this is just priceless. He took the Roto Jet and all of the Blade-Copters!" Jay shouted.
"What have we done?" Nya reflected.
"We all have families in Ninjago." Griffin stared at the horizon.
"Argh! And we had to destroy any other way off the island! Who's idea was that?" Jay shouted.
"They're gone." Morro dropped down.
"Is that a good or a bad thing for you?" Lloyd asked.
"I don't know, I jus- I just don't want to almost kill them." Morro said.
"What?" Lloyd asked.
"But you barely even use your power--"
"Your father was right, Lloyd. We thought we had the upper hand. Our guard was down and look what happened." Cole interrupted.
"Nobody listens to me! You all say I overreact, but no!" Jay threw his hands up.
"Morro and I'll go alone." Lloyd said. Morro stood up.
"And take on his whole army?" Nya asked.
"We're the only ones with an Elemental Dragon." Lloyd said.
"Not anymore!!"
Everyone turned from the sound of Zane's voice and the flapping of wings. A light blue elemental dragon was flying in the air above everyone.
"He unleashed the dragon too." Karlof said.
"Oh, Zane! None of us could do that before! You gotta tell us how you did that!" Jay yelled.
"I faced my fear." Zane said.
"When I realized it wasn't something in front of me that held me back, but something inside me, I found a deeper power. A dragon power." The ninja explained.
"Zane's right. We all have this power inside of us." Kai rode up on his own new elemental
"But you have to see that it's not the Anacondrai we're afraid of, it's our doubt. Divided, we failed. But together, we will succeed."
"Energy!" Lloyd shouted, jumping off the ledge and pulling Morro with him. Lloyd made his dragon, but Morro didn't. Lloyd threw Morro up and he snapped out of his thoughts.
"Wind!!" Morro shouted, landing his feet on his dragon.
"Lightning!" Jai created an electric blue dragon.
"Earth!" A black brown and light green dragon made for Cole.
"Metal!" A silver and shining dragon.
"Speed!" A white and red dragon.
"Mind!"
"Shadow!"
"Light!"
"Gravity!"
A whole thunder of dragons flew over the sun setting waters.
"Metal dragon make Karlof very happy happy!" Karlof exclaimed.
"The battle of our past has returned, but we will rise to meet that challenge." Garmadon shouted.
"But will I be able to?" Morro whispered.
Sure, you can. I know you.
"Chen brought us here so that only one would remain. Well, we are one!" Kai shouted, the others cheering as the sped to Ninjago.

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.
